Cao Youqian and Wu Ming engaged in a devastating clash of the Sword Dao and physical strength, nearly shattering the Nine Cauldrons Secret Realm in the process. Despite Wu Ming’s mastery of Heaven and Man United, he ultimately conceded defeat to Cao Youqian’s superior physical cultivation and resilience. Following this high-level duel, Cao Youqian proceeded to dominate the remaining challengers from various Sacred Lands with ease, dismissing their strength as inferior to his training back home. With no other contestants able to withstand his power, the Ten Saints Grand Competition concluded with Cao Youqian being declared the victor.

Chapter 599: Distribution of Benefits

Night had descended upon the main tent of the Wendao Academy camp.

Chu Feng sat in his chair, engaged in a conversation with the Dean via the Transmission Treasure Mirror resting before him.

"Little Feng, this seat was certain you wouldn’t fail this old man this time," the Dean remarked with a beaming expression from the other side. Despite being far away at the Wendao Academy, he remained fully informed of the events within the Nine Cauldrons Secret Realm.

"Sir, you praise me too highly. This disciple’s contribution was modest; the victory belongs to the many disciples, with Great Qian leading the way." Chu Feng was never one to hoard all the glory for himself.

Throughout this Ten Holy Lands Grand Competition, his primary function had been to anchor the army's spirit and intimidate the various rivals.

The Dean chuckled and said: "You remain as modest as ever, kid. Very well, let us discuss the core matters. Tomorrow is the scheduled time to partition the rewards of the competition. As the champion, our Wendao Academy holds the right to exclusively claim the resources of an entire continent. Which one do you intend to visit? Or perhaps you wish to remain at the Wendao Academy and take over as Dean?"

Chu Feng answered without a moment's pause: "In response to Sir, this disciple has always thrived on challenges. I wish to journey to another continent and see what it holds."

"It is granted."

The Dean continued: "Since your heart is set, you shall select a world that appeals to you tomorrow. Because our Wendao Academy secured first place, we possess the right of first pick. Elder Jin will provide you with the pertinent details regarding those four worlds shortly."

"I am grateful for your guidance, Sir."

Chu Feng was well-acquainted with the protocols for dividing spoils in the Ten Holy Lands Grand Competition. Beyond the champion, the remaining powers were forced to develop worlds in cooperation with one another.

The second and third-place finishers share a single world; the fourth, fifth, and sixth ranks are assigned to another; while the final four Holy Lands are left with whatever world remains after being picked over.

The more factions involved, the thinner the resources are spread. While no world has been fully scouted—meaning a solo venture isn't guaranteed to be easy—the benefits of exclusive access generally far outweigh the risks.

A short while later, an elderly voice drifted in from outside the tent.

"Subordinate Jin Feng arrives to pay respects to Saint Qiankun."

Upon hearing this, Chu Feng stood immediately and walked out to greet him, saying graciously: "Elder Jin, please come in."

"I wouldn't dare, I wouldn't dare," Elder Jin replied, feeling immensely honored. He hadn't anticipated that Chief Chu, despite his lofty status, would treat an elder like himself with such genuine respect.

Chu Feng ushered him into the main tent. Rather than rushing to ask about the four worlds, he took the initiative to pour a cup of tea for his guest and gestured for him to be seated.

"Elder Jin, please."

"This subordinate does not deserve such honor." Elder Jin quickly stood up, looking anxious and overwhelmed.

Seeing this, Chu Feng smiled and said: "We both belong to the same Sect, and there are no outsiders here. Elder Jin, there is no need for such formality."

Only after hearing this did Elder Jin cautiously take a seat: "My thanks to you, Chief Chu."

As they drank tea and spoke, Elder Jin eventually placed a jade slip upon the table.

"Chief Chu, this jade slip contains records of the four worlds being divided by the Ten Holy Lands. Please take it."

"Thank you." Chu Feng accepted the jade slip naturally and tucked it away.

Following a period of pleasant conversation, Chu Feng personally escorted Elder Jin out of the tent.

Once back inside, he retrieved the jade slip and sent his spiritual sense into it. Information regarding the four continents flooded his mind, and Chu Feng reached a decision swiftly.

Early the following morning.

Chu Feng made his way to the center of the battlefield, where a small palace had been erected in the distance.

As he landed, two Saints descended from the heavens. He immediately clasped his hands and said: "Chu Feng greets the two fellow Daoists."

"Fellow Daoist Qiankun, you are far too polite," the two Saints replied in unison.

After their greetings, the three entered the palace together. Inside, Chu Feng found Saint Slashing God already waiting.

Noticing their arrival, Saint Slashing God stood and bowed: "The three fellow Daoists have arrived quite early. This old man came a bit sooner and brought out this spirit treasure to enjoy some tea. Please, sit."

Chu Feng smiled, saying: "Our thanks to you, Fellow Daoist Slashing God."

The others echoed the sentiment: "Thank you, Fellow Daoist Slashing God."

Once the three were seated, the sages from the other Holy Lands began to arrive in succession. When every sage was present, all eyes turned toward Chu Feng.

Feeling the weight of their stares, Chu Feng cupped his fists and said: "Seniors, this junior is a newcomer to the Ten Holy Lands Grand Competition. I shall leave the hosting of today's proceedings to you, my seniors."

Upon hearing this, the various Saints showed looks of approval, their estimation of Chu Feng rising significantly.

It was difficult to dislike a young Saint with such a brilliant future who still maintained such humility.

Saint Slashing God took the lead: "Very well, this old man shall break protocol just this once to oversee the concluding matters of this Ten Holy Lands Grand Competition."

"We appreciate your effort, Fellow Daoist Slashing God," the assembled sages replied.

Saint Slashing God continued: "I believe everyone is aware of why we have gathered. We shall proceed according to the ancient traditions."

With a wave of his hand, a curtain of light manifested in the air, displaying four distinct glowing points.

"These four continents were discovered by a True God of our Xuantian Continent during his travels abroad. However, the True God only scanned them with his divine sense and did not perform a detailed exploration. I assume you are all already familiar with the data on these four continents?"

The crowd nodded in agreement. This information was old news to them; today's meeting was merely a formality.

Saint Slashing God turned his gaze toward Chu Feng: "Fellow Daoist Qiankun, which continent does your Wendao Academy intend to claim this time?"

Chu Feng stood up and said with a faint smile: "My Wendao Academy selects the Hongyuan Continent."

The room fell into a stunned silence at his words.

Based on reliable reports, the Hongyuan Continent was a world formed only recently.

Such continents were often home to powerful innate spirits whose strength rivaled that of God Kings or even God Emperors.

Any Holy Land attempting to conquer such a place would have to pay a steep price, and even the lives of Saints could be at risk.

Nevertheless, the Wendao Academy choosing such a dangerous path was a favorable outcome for the others.

Saint Slashing God was momentarily taken aback before asking: "Has Fellow Daoist truly weighed this decision carefully?"

Chu Feng smiled and replied: "The decision is final."

"Very well." Saint Slashing God beamed and said: "Then this old man offers his congratulations to Wendao Academy for securing exclusive rights to a continent."

The other Saints joined in, offering their praise: "Our congratulations to the Wendao Academy."

Chu Feng smiled and returned the gesture: "This is only possible thanks to everyone's cooperation."

Shortly after, the remaining nine Holy Lands finalized the distribution of the other three continents.

With the division of benefits complete, the ten Saints returned to their camps. They led their disciples out of the Nine Cauldrons Secret Realm, bringing the Ten Holy Lands Grand Competition to a close...
