Katherine learns that the Lingfeng Trading Company is backed by the Dongfang Clan and has been polite but firm in rejecting her requests. Meanwhile, Yang Ling contacts Katherine for help rescuing someone from a Blood Demon Cult stronghold on Wind Whisper Star, a planet Katherine considers her own turf. To agree to the rescue, Katherine demands Yang Ling investigate the true controller of Lingfeng Trading Company and secure a supply of youth potions. Yang Ling reveals the request is on behalf of the Lingfeng controller, who is also known to Katherine as a member of the Mythical Society, whom she deduces to be the Underworld King. With her problem potentially solved and a new mission, Katherine prepares her mercenary corps for action.
