After failing to break the barrier with scattered attacks, Zhuge Yu successfully organized the Holy Blood Clans and Golden Clan prodigies using the Wuhou Eight Trigrams Array. Their combined energy shattered the black barrier, revealing the ancient tree. However, a horde of powerful demons immediately appeared, forcing everyone to prepare for a fierce battle.

An abyss wind, sharp and cold, laced with shadowy mist, carried the guttural roars of monstrous beasts that echoed like phantom wails and wolfish howls, bouncing endlessly between the towering cliffs.

Upon the desolate expanse at the abyss's base, countless monsters advanced like a surging tide. Some bore multiple heads, their fangs slick with dark, venomous fluid; others possessed limbs like hardened steel claws, gouging deep trails in the ice with each stride. Even the sheer ice-laden mountains on either flank teemed with monsters clinging precariously, their dark silhouettes obscuring the sky and land, forming a dreadful tapestry woven from the oppressive aura of Tier Seven and above entities.

In stark contrast, before an ancient, ice-blue tree, over two hundred Empire prodigies stood firm, arranged in a disciplined formation.

Tier Six Spiritualists formed the inner bulwark, encircled by Tier Seven Golden Bloodline and Holy Blood prodigies. The luminescence of their Spiritual Energy ignited the area like a celestial display, offering a stark defiance to the demonic qi emanating from the monsters.

The polished ice reflected the images of both factions: on one side, grotesque, malevolent creatures; on the other, humanity ablaze with indomitable fighting spirit. The very atmosphere seemed to thicken, on the verge of freezing.

"Tier Six, organize into defensive trios, prioritize self-preservation!" Ji Taiyan's voice cut through the cacophony of roars, his command resonating with clarity to every ear. "Tier Seven Golden Bloodlines, each of you must engage at least three monsters; Tier Seven Holy Blood prodigies, dispatch ten apiece. Act decisively, and under no circumstances allow them the opportunity to merge!"

"Understood!" The multitude responded as one. Many had already borne witness to the nightmarish phenomenon of monster fusion. Should more than ten creatures coalesce, perhaps only the most elite Holy Blood warriors could contend with them. If dozens, or even hundreds, were to merge, a chilling fear gripped them that a single blow could obliterate them all.

Their only recourse now was to hope that the monsters' fusion possessed inherent limitations. Otherwise, this engagement appeared utterly unwinnable.

Roar——!!!

The lead monster unleashed a thunderous cry, and the horde surged forward in unison. Ice fragments erupted as their heavy footfalls hammered like a relentless drum against every heart.

"Kill!" Ji Taiyan surged to the forefront, his golden robes billowing dramatically. A phantom golden dragon ascended into the heavens, tearing the foremost monster asunder with its claws.

The battle commenced instantly!

More than thirty Tier Seven Holy Blood prodigies sliced through the monster ranks like keen blades. Xiao Lie's Spirit Flame blazed, engulfing monsters in agony; the Leng family's Leng Qingqiu conjured a storm of ice spikes from his fingertips, encasing three monsters in frozen effigies before shattering them; Chen Feng pummeled with his fists, the potent force of his martial arts penetrating the monsters' very cores.

These Holy Blood prodigies descended like demigods of slaughter, their Spiritual Abilities and Martial Techniques weaving a lethal tapestry that threw the monster formation into disarray.

On the periphery of the conflict, Taishi Feng brandished the Heaven-piercing Halberd, engaging a monster in direct confrontation.

Having only recently achieved Tier Seven, his aura remained somewhat volatile. Nevertheless, he managed to parry the monster's razor-sharp claws with the formidable physique of his Golden Bloodline. His halberd swept horizontally in a gust of wind, striking with brutal force at the neck of the monster to his left.

A wet tearing sound followed, and dark green blood sprayed outward. The monster bellowed in fury, swiping its steel claws towards Taishi Feng's face.

"Seeking death!" Taishi Feng twisted, the tail of his halberd smashing forcefully against the monster's head with a sickening thud, nearly rupturing its skull.

Not far away, Huo Yuansheng moved with superior agility. His longsword darted out like a pale serpent, evading a monster's charge, its tip finding the precise center of the beast's brow.

His footwork was light and swift as he danced between two monsters, his swordplay a blinding flash that left several deep gashes in their bodies. Despite breathing slightly heavier, he maintained a clear advantage.

Zhuge Yu remained at the heart of the formation, actively channeling the Wuhou Eight Trigrams Array to bolster everyone's defenses, his gaze methodically surveying the unfolding battle.

When his eyes landed on Qin Tian, a subtle flicker crossed his expression.

Qin Tian was engaged with several monsters, managing to dispatch one with only a few skilled moves. His combat effectiveness rivaled that of some Holy Blood prodigies, yet only he, Taishi Feng, and Huo Yuansheng were aware that Qin Tian was not exerting his full capabilities.

"Qin Tian, are you holding back your strength for the treasure hunt later, or have you perceived something?" Zhuge Yu inquired via soul communication.

As if on cue, Qin Tian sidestepped, narrowly avoiding the swipe of a monster's claws. The Black Frost Saber suddenly accelerated, its blade crackling with entwined purple lightning as it glided across the monster's neck. The head severed instantly, and the lingering electrical energy consumed the monster's body, reducing it to ash.

He responded mentally: "No rush. Let's wait and observe."

His heightened senses picked up on more than anyone else present realized; in his eyes, these Tier Seven monsters posed no real threat. However, a faint sense of unease persisted within him—as if unseen eyes were concealed in the shadows, intently watching this monumental battle unfold.

With a composed demeanor, he surveyed the surrounding battlefield, his gaze eventually settling upon the imposing ice mountain situated behind the ancient tree.

The source of that unnerving scrutiny seemed to originate from the depths of the ice mountain itself.

......

Within the colossal ice mountain, an ice throne, integrated seamlessly with the mountain's structure, sat in silent vigil.

The surface of this throne was intricately carved with ancient runes belonging to the Ice God Race, though visible cracks had begun to mar its surface, allowing wisps of dark energy to seep out.

Beneath the throne, a dark heart floated ominously in the central chamber of the ice mountain, its rhythmic pulsations causing the very throne above to tremble faintly.

Encircling this dark heart, four colossal, god-like beasts lay dormant on the icy ground.

To the left rested a colossal white bear, its size rivaling a small hill, its pristine white fur radiating a lustrous, pearl-like sheen. A diamond-shaped ice crystal was embedded in its brow, and its exhalations condensed into visible plumes of frigid mist.

On the right, the Ice Crystal Phoenix rested with its wings gracefully folded. Its ice-blue feathers resembled transparent crystals, and its tail feathers brushed against the ground, conjuring a delicate layer of frost upon the frozen surface.

The Spirit Deer stood majestically at the forefront, its antlers adorned with a subtle, golden Spiritual Light, its hooves planted firmly on the icy terrain.

The armored beast crouched behind the throne, its carapace resembling polished black iron, etched with intricate ice patterns.

"Young Master, the seal has been breached. You may now claim the Ice Seal Order," the white bear's voice rumbled, deep as muffled thunder, carrying a tone of heavy respect as its massive head turned towards the area before the throne.

There, a figure named Lan stood, holding a Magic Staff embedded with ice essence. He wore a crown of ice crystals, and a light blue robe accentuated his snow-white skin, his cold gaze fixed upon the ice mirror presented before him.
