Qin Tian and his companions entered a vast frozen chamber, facing an ice mountain concealing the stage's guardian beast. The Ice Qilin awakened, its pure ice energy overtaken by sinister dark forces, transforming into a pinnacle Tier Seven monster with dual powers. The team formed a four-element array and clashed fiercely, struggling against its impenetrable scales and devastating assaults.

Even so, the four remained in a truly wretched condition.

The qilin’s strikes held devastating power. It parted its jaws, unleashing a raging surge of pitch-black freezing breath. Ice instantly formed along the breath’s path, the very air turning solid, making Qin Tian and the others scramble to evade desperately. The tiniest mistake would coat their bodies in frozen shells, their souls teetering on the edge of being iced over.

Even scarier was its regeneration power—cracks on its form would trigger a burst of pristine freezing breath, instantly reforming the ice crystals in those fissures. Injuries mended visibly before their eyes, snapping back to perfect wholeness within seconds, like they’d never happened.

"We can’t keep this up! Its recovery is way too quick!"

Huo Yuansheng gasped for breath, his left arm nicked by the freezing stream, sleeve turned to solid ice long ago, skin tinged bluish-purple. "Our hits can’t match how fast it heals!"

Taishi Feng fared even poorer, armor sections frozen and split across his body, blood at his mouth’s edges frozen into icy droplets. His halberd swings grew sluggish, but he clenched his teeth and persisted: "Target the horn, let’s give it a shot!"

All four unleashed their power together—Qin Tian’s Thunder Saber, Taishi Feng’s Heaven-piercing Halberd, and Huo Yuansheng’s Longsword all slammed toward the qilin’s horn.

"Bang!"

The trio of blows landed at once, smashing the icy scales atop the horn, drawing a howl of agony from the qilin.

Yet before they could capitalize, frigid breath exploded from the qilin, filling the horn’s fractures with ice in a flash, back to pristine form. Seizing the moment when the four hadn’t recovered their momentum, it slammed a hoof down, sending myriad ice spikes erupting from the earth, driving them all to fall back repeatedly.

An ice spike scraped Qin Tian’s back, instantly freezing his robe solid. Staring at the still-furious qilin, he knew normal tactics wouldn’t fell this unbreakable frozen monster.

With the ambient conditions unaltered, its inner freezing breath persisted endlessly, granting infinite regeneration. Dragging the fight on would drain their Spiritual Energy dry, dooming them to freeze in this blizzard realm.

"Cover me for 20 seconds!" Qin Tian declared abruptly, tone steady and firm.

Zhuge Yu and the rest didn’t waver, swiftly reshaping into the Three Talents Array. Taishi Feng and Huo Yuansheng gripped weapons tight and rushed the qilin’s onslaught, while Zhuge Yu maxed out the Array’s might, a blue-gold shield wrapping the trio, plus several binding arrays to snare the qilin.

"Roar!"

Furious, the qilin charged energy into its horn anew and barreled at the Three Talents Array.

Qin Tian pulled back at once, wrist flicking as crimson light gleamed. A savage crimson hand cannon materialized in his grasp.

Forged wholly from red metal, the cannon bore elaborate flame runes along its barrel, muzzle radiating blistering heat that clashed fiercely with the snowscape’s bone-chilling cold.

This was none other than the long-dormant entry among the Ten Great Guns: Heaven-Burning Purgatory!

"You finally recalled me?"

Flame Gun Spirit Blaze emerged from the barrel, his tiny fiend-like figure hovering, arms folded, face etched with chill displeasure at his extended "bench time."

"No choice, top steel saves for the sharpest edge." Qin Tian placated. "Past foes were too feeble, unworthy of you. Facing a true monster now, you topped my list."

"Heh~" The imp smirked, lingering grudge in his voice, yet aware of the stakes. Eyes fixed on the rampaging ice qilin, one brow arched:

"A Tier Seven high-level ice beast infused with Dark Energy..."

Thrill laced his tone uncontrollably: "Definitely deserves my full focus this round."

Over recent months, Blaze had advanced steadily via Qin Tian’s [Divine Weapon Emperor] nurturing. Heaven-Burning Purgatory’s runes glowed ever brighter, boosting total prowess, his spirit form far denser, flame control leaping bounds beyond before.

The Ten Great Guns’ top kill had stood at Tier Seven before.

Yet now, he brimmed with total certainty, requiring just a minor push to unleash the utmost potential of those other mighty cannons.

"Let’s do it!"

Spotting the Three Talents Array teetering on the brink of ruin, with Zhuge Yu and his companions sporting blood at their mouth corners and facing grave danger, Qin Tian held back no longer. His body’s Spiritual Energy erupted wildly akin to a raging flood, surging furiously into the barrel of Heaven-Burning Purgatory.

A brilliant crimson radiance flared up instantly along the barrel, horrifyingly fierce undulations rippling outward like a tidal surge. The blistering heat swiftly banished the piercing chill of the snowy realm, while the solid ice below started sizzling and dissolving, releasing dense plumes of white vapor.

"This is..."

Sensing the blistering heat at their backs, Zhuge Yu and the rest underwent a dramatic shift in expressions, brimming with incredulous joy and astonishment.

The ice qilin detected the looming threat too, its dark eyes locking onto the fire cannon gripped by Qin Tian, its bellow laced with unmatched solemnity and urgency.

Frigid black mist coiled violently around its form, icy crystal scales bristling upright, as the glow of energy on its horn intensified, refusing any hint of carelessness.

Whoosh~

Blazing fire erupted from the muzzle of Heaven-Burning Purgatory, the crimson blaze appearing to swallow the whole area. At the same instant, Qin Tian’s command thundered in the trio’s minds: "Retreat!"

Without a second’s delay, Zhuge Yu and his allies shot aside like loosed arrows.

The very instant they dashed clear, a silver gleam sparked in Qin Tian’s gaze, triggering spatial confinement right away.

Invisible spatial forces bound the ice qilin like iron chains. Though insufficient to fully immobilize this Tier Seven high-level holy beast, they managed to freeze it for a split second.

That fleeting instant was exactly the chance Qin Tian required!
