In a howling blizzard, Qin Tian confronted Asaki Luoho, a Tier Seven Holy Blood Asura from the Luoho Clan intent on revenge. Taishi Feng warned of Asaki's formidable strength as the two unleashed their auras, cracking the frozen earth. Asaki charged with a devastating blood-colored Sword Qi, clashing blades with Qin Tian in a thunderous explosion that sent Qin Tian flying back. Asaki smirked in disdain, only to realize Zhuge Yu and Taishi Feng had vanished without a trace.

Asaki's heart plummeted as he gazed at Qin Tian once more.

This sight ignited even greater fury within him.

Suddenly, a subtle silver ripple shimmered in space behind the soaring Qin Tian, swiftly expanding into a Gate of Space. Half of Qin Tian's form had already slipped through the portal, and right before it sealed, he deliberately waved at Asaki with a mocking grin curling his lips and contempt gleaming in his eyes, as though ridiculing a clueless fool toyed with at will.

"Swish—"

The Gate of Space snapped shut in an instant, abandoning only pulverized snow and fractured icy ground in its wake.

Only at that moment did Asaki grasp that he'd been duped from the very beginning!

Like a erupting volcano, rage and shame surged through Asaki's chest; his eyes burned crimson, and he forced the words out between gritted teeth.

"None of you will escape!"

......

Hundreds of kilometers away across the frozen tundra, the fierce blizzard continued its roar, yet it no longer carried a lethal bite.

Qin Tian and his two allies sheltered behind a towering ice boulder that deflected the brunt of the gale and snow. The subtle chill permeating the air couldn't touch their buoyant spirits whatsoever.

"Haha, Qin Tian, you really haven’t changed at all!" Zhuge Yu laughed.

During the genius showdown in the Azure Wood Star Realm, Qin Tian had toyed with those prodigies, transforming the entire Star Realm's live broadcast into their eternal embarrassment. And now, deep within these primordial ruins, he'd even outmaneuvered a Tier Seven Holy Blood Asura with effortless flair.

Taishi Feng lingered nearby, his gaze still brimming with awe and disbelief.

He'd figured that confronting a Tier Seven Five Stars Holy Blood Asura would demand a brutal fight just to slip away unscathed. But Qin Tian's command over space proved utterly masterful.

With flawless timing and positioning for the space gate's activation, they'd evaded capture right from under Asaki's nose. No doubt that Luoho Clan pureblood was seething with rage by now.

"Of course," Qin Tian grinned casually, "that fool couldn't have truly believed I'd clash with him to the bitter end, could he? I'm not that stupid."

Asaki, a Tier Seven Five Stars Holy Blood powerhouse nearly a full tier superior, and a Luoho Clan direct descendant, outmatched even the Rakshasa girl they'd faced earlier by a wide margin.

A fight to the death, win or lose, would exact a devastating toll—not worth the price, even in victory.

Since Asaki couldn't flee, prioritizing the treasure made perfect sense. Should a chance for advancement arise, he could return later, empowered, to settle the score.

"You’re right," Zhuge Yu nodded in agreement. "We came for fortunes, not to squander strength on pointless brawls."

"Enough about him—I summoned you for a crucial matter." Qin Tian motioned, then flipped his palm, summoning an ice stele from nowhere.

A piercing frost radiated from the ice stele, while its surface's archaic carvings pulsed amid the flurry, radiating the profound aura of a relic from antiquity.

Zhuge Yu and Taishi Feng's gazes sharpened immediately, drawn forward on instinct.

After scrutinizing it briefly, Zhuge Yu burst out, "Your fortune is incredible! Barely stepped into the ruins and you've snagged a prize like this."

"Pure luck," Qin Tian said modestly, then grew solemn. "The treasure itself is secondary. What matters is the vital intel this ice stele revealed—the ruins belong to the ancient Ice God Race."

No shock registered on their faces; memory fragments absorbed during Ice Element integration had already unveiled the Ice God Race's clashes with those shadowy beasts.

Qin Tian pressed on, "In their final days, the Ice God Race sealed seven treasuries across the ruins to safeguard their legacy. This ice stele I hold serves as the key to one of them."

His words sparked blazing excitement in Zhuge Yu and Taishi Feng's eyes, laced with astonishment.

Zhuge Yu cut straight to it: "Facing a windfall this huge, you didn't consider hogging it solo?"

"I considered it, but it's impossible alone," Qin Tian admitted with open palms. "The treasury demands a precise ritual, free of any interruptions, or it collapses entirely. Swarms of monsters guard its perimeter; I can't handle the activation and fend them off by myself. I need you two to watch my back."

Rather than annoyance, Zhuge Yu and Taishi Feng broke into grins upon hearing this.

They understood—stumbling on such a private boon, the natural impulse would be secrecy; they'd act likewise.

That Qin Tian turned to them first for aid spoke volumes of his faith in their bond.

"Count us in. But as brothers, we keep things fair and square—no cheating on the reward~" Zhuge Yu quipped with a wink.

"Naturally, you two will surely claim your portions," Qin Tian chuckled while saying, "Let’s head out to locate Yuansheng; the trio of you ought to suffice."

"And what of Lan?"

Zhuge Yu still recalled the strikingly gorgeous stranger at Qin Tian’s side.

"I’m unable to track Lan at the moment."

Qin Tian shook his head; right after stepping into the ruins, he had first detected the mark he’d planted on Lan, yet it faded away quickly.

That said, he remained convinced that Lan held plenty of power to defend himself.

Since the mark was gone, some unforeseen incident must have happened.

Hard to tell if it was fortunate or unfortunate, yet he figured it was probably leaning toward the better side.

In the end, Lan hailed from the Ice God Race.

"Got it~"
