I Pick Up Talents on the Interstellar Battlefield Chapter 610 - 470: Wrath and the Zero-Binding Lock (Part 3)

Qin Tian met Kain’s venomous glare head-on, his face serene and utterly undisturbed.
In this moment, he stood as the executioner, with Kain reduced to mere livestock; the man’s seething hatred amounted to nothing more than desperate, pointless defiance.
Without Dongfang Haoyue’s order to spare Kain, Jie La would have already drained his Spiritual Energy, extracted his memories via "Soul Devourer," and converted him into a Golden Level Talent Light Sphere, wiping away every last remnant.
"Qin Tian, I’ll leave him in your hands." Dongfang Haoyue declared.
"Got it." Qin Tian nodded.
"A Yu." Dongfang Haoyue turned toward Zhuge Yu, signaling with a glance.
Zhuge Yu advanced, faint Golden Light flickering from his fingertips as Spiritual Energy swiftly traced intricate designs through the air. These designs twisted and merged, slowly crafting a compact arcane formation where the runes shimmered softly, radiating an otherworldly presence.
"Bind Zero Lock."
His voice was soft as he thrust the hovering formation downward with force, slamming it precisely onto Kain’s abdomen.
Like a living entity, the formation pierced Kain’s flesh in an instant, morphing into Golden Energy that burrowed deep into his core.
A stabbing agony erupted in Kain’s Dantian, and right away, the last traces of his Spiritual Energy froze solid, impossible to mobilize.
He tried lifting his arm to fight back, but it hung heavy as lead; powerless, he could only watch the formation activate within him, offering no chance for resistance.
With the Dantian sealed, Zhuge Yu pressed on. He drew from his Space Ring the array plate once used for dragon vein detection, channeling Spiritual Energy into it.
Runes across the array plate ignited, a frosty aura gradually seeping forth.
"Water Spirit Path—Ice Seal." Zhuge Yu murmured the incantation, his finger jabbing out as a pale blue gleam lanced from the plate, striking Kain dead-on.
"Crack, crack, crack—"
Sharp cracking noises of ice resounded, dense frost layers swiftly encasing Kain’s body before their eyes. From his feet upward, in just one breath, he transformed into a solid ice statue.
The hefty, translucent ice sheath fully shrouded Kain’s form, concealing the identity of its prisoner from any outward gaze.
Zhuge Yu stowed the array plate and retreated, a pleased grin on his face. "All done."
The Zhuge Family was truly extraordinary~
Qin Tian marveled inwardly. Excluding himself, nearly every Spiritualist commanded only one or two Elemental Abilities. But the Zhuge Family wielded arrays to unleash multi-elemental powers, seals, bindings, divinations, soul strikes, and a host of others—they were veritable jacks-of-all-trades.
"Thank you, Qin Tian."
Dongfang Haoyue regarded Qin Tian earnestly. Securing this Tier Seven Nine Stars assassin meant he could now force confessions about the puppet master and dangle the captive to draw out more threads.
"No big deal."
Qin Tian brushed it off with a wave, then fixed him with a layered expression:
"I can’t grasp how deeply you and Ming Yue are mired in this storm, or why you face these relentless assassinations and schemes, but no matter what..."
He halted for a beat, then intoned gravely, "Safeguard Ming Yue properly."
Dongfang Haoyue nodded with fierce resolve at those words.
"Don’t worry—even at the cost of my life, Ming Yue won’t come to any harm."
The unyielding fire in Dongfang Haoyue’s eyes stirred complex emotions in Qin Tian.
The perils engulfing Dongfang Haoyue and Ming Yue ran far deeper than he’d anticipated, enough to dispatch a Tier Seven Nine Stars powerhouse for their demise.
Given his present power, this was the most he could do.
