Kesler recounts his discovery of an ancient ruin where he found many living beings from different races sealed in Space-Time Amber, seemingly preserved and possibly still conscious. He explains how he used mercenaries to access the ruin and that he lied about the entrance conditions to gain Qin Tian's cooperation. Qin Tian is intrigued by the mystery of the amber and the fate of those sealed within, despite the dangers Kesler described.

In the center of San Tuo Mountain, the battlefield fell into a brief calm.

The air was filled with a strong burnt and bloody smell.

The corpses of the Stele Demons covered the ground, severed limbs were everywhere.

After the battle, the Beastman Warriors gathered together, receiving healing from the High Priest.

Golden light, like a thin veil, covered the wounded. In the glow, the demonic qi-corroded wounds slowly healed, fractured bones rejoined, and torn muscles regrew.

However, the warriors who had already died could never wake again. Their corpses were gathered and stored in Space Equipment, waiting to be returned home after the Secret Realm journey so their bodies could rest in peace.

Guhai reverted to his Dragon-man form, standing in the middle of the battlefield, his face terrifyingly grim.

In this battle, they eliminated nearly 100,000 Stele Demons—among them three Tier Eight, twelve Tier Seven, and dozens more Tier Six, while only two thousand warriors from their side perished.

Judging by the casualty comparison, it was undoubtedly a proud victory.

Yet, Guhai felt not a trace of joy; instead, he was profoundly angry and saddened.

Understand, this opportunity in the Celestial Stele Secret Realm was incredibly rare; warriors who persevered to the end and bathed in Celestial Stele Light would see a qualitative leap in talent, bloodline, spiritual energy, and other aspects.

For this, the Beastmen paid a huge price to exchange a portion of slots from the Human Empire, each of which was extremely precious.

Therefore, the warriors participating were all elites or geniuses selected from various Beastman tribes, many even future Clan Leaders from medium and small tribes, the hope of the next generation.

And now, merely after one battle, over two thousand elite warriors died, only for a group of Stele Demons.

As an Elder of the Ancient Dragon Race, Guhai knew very well what the Stele Demons were.

They were demons suppressed by the Celestial Stele, embodiments of demonic qi condensed to erode the stele.

Essentially, they were merely energy aggregates possessing a portion of will.

Even though killing them could obtain Tombstone Spirit Fragments, sacrificing over two thousand warriors for it was too unworthy.

"Qin Tian..."

Thinking of the culprit, Guhai couldn’t control a surge of anger in his heart.

That human used a Space Array to send him and his most elite troops into this deathtrap, forcing him to exchange over two thousand lives for a breakout.

However, at this moment, he wasn’t blinded by anger.

They were still in the central area of San Tuo Mountain, and far more Stele Demons than just the ones defeated roamed the mountain.

If they couldn’t leave here soon, Stele Demons would continue to besiege them from all directions, one wave after another, and the losses would be even more devastating.

The best way to ensure the safety of the team was to meet up with Vilute and Amond.

Then the three Tier Eight Royals joining forces, along with numerous Tier Seven, Tier Six elites, and over ten thousand warriors, forming an adequately large combat group, could break out with minimal cost despite the Stele Demons’ numbers.

Thinking of this, Guhai immediately took out the Sound Transmission Shell, contacting Vilute and Amond.

Soon, the three teams converged together.

When Amond heard that Guhai’s team had lost over two thousand warriors, he almost couldn’t help but laugh out loud. And upon learning that within Vilute’s team, two Holy Blood Lineage heirs were either killed or forcibly taken away, he couldn’t suppress the curve of amusement at the corners of his mouth.

As for his side, almost no casualties occurred; the Stele Demons he encountered were few, easily dealt with by his subordinates.

He thought to himself, perhaps since he had a fortuitous initial conflict with Qin Tian, Qin Tian specifically targeted Guhai and Vilute, yet spared him?

Guhai and Vilute noticed Amond’s schadenfreude, naturally felt angry, but at this moment, they weren’t willing to clash with this brute.

"Amond, can your people find Qin Tian now?" Guhai repressed his inner fury and asked in a deep voice.

Amond shook his head, his tone uncharacteristically serious: "Can’t find him. This guy is a Spatial Master, if he wants to hide, who can find him?"

"What about his subordinates?" Guhai pressed, "Your people said Qin Tian entered San Tuo Mountain with his subordinates, didn’t they? Can’t find Qin Tian, not a trace of his subordinates either?"

"I haven’t found them."

Amond rudely replied, "Have you found them? In terms of tracking people, your teams are no worse than mine. You both know whether Qin Tian’s people are still in San Tuo Mountain. I say, he’s long moved them, leaving him alone to skirmish with us here."

He paused, his voice tinged with impatience: "In my opinion, let’s end this action here. Anyway, I’ve no hope of finding Qin Tian anymore. If you want to keep searching, you stay; I’ll lead my people away."

Hearing this, Guhai’s face turned grim like water, in Vilute’s ice-blue eyes floated cold anger.

Amond spoke lightly, yet his team was intact, practically unharmed.

In contrast, on their side, one lost over two thousand subordinates, the other lost two Holy Blood Lineage heirs.

If they were to return empty-handed, how could they explain to their respective clans?
