I'm the King Of Technology Chapter 5 Responsibilies

Although he was aware that the knights' training methods required a total overhaul, he understood the necessity of implementing changes step by step.
The rigorous training standards established on Earth were entirely absent in this current era.
Before he had settled into his career as a mechanical engineer, he had completed two years of mandatory military service upon turning eighteen. This background gave him a unique perspective on the critical value of structured military routines.
Given that the system was destined to grant him comprehensive knowledge regarding gunpowder and cannons, he anticipated manufacturing his own machine guns in the near future. Consequently, it was vital to sharpen the men's physical stamina and reflexes so they could operate firearms and advanced military hardware with peak efficiency.
Even without immediate access to guns, he refused to overlook the advantages of such a regimen. These exercises were designed to instill confidence within the soldiers, fostering trust in their subordinates and fellow comrades.
Furthermore, these routines served to refine leadership capabilities and cultivate a collective sense of pride, compassion, and belonging, all while forging exceptionally powerful bodies.
His objective was to command soldiers whose loyalty lay with him, the citizenry, and the realm, rather than mercenaries driven by coin or personal glory.
With a serious gaze, he surveyed the troops, making eye contact with nearly every man present. He projected the commanding presence of a seasoned military veteran.
"All knights are to gather at the inner castle for training tomorrow before the break of dawn. These sessions will introduce new drills alongside your standard sword practice... Anyone arriving late will be denied breakfast and lunch for the day. Accumulating more than three unexcused absences will result in a full day without food and severe disciplinary action... now... DO YOU UNDERSTAND!?"
In a singular, thunderous voice, the knights roared back,
"Yes, My King!"
"Excellent... now, organize yourselves into three separate units. The arrangement is up to you, but every group must consist of exactly one hundred men." Having issued his orders, he turned and approached his mother and Lucy.
"Mother, we must ensure there is enough sustenance for the knights, the workers, and ourselves... what are our current supplies?" he inquired. After a moment of mental calculation, his mother replied,
"We have brought three wagons of wheat, one wagon of beans, one of peas, and another containing barley, rye, and oats. Lastly, there is a wagon dedicated to various farming seeds."
"That is sufficient... Mother, Lucy... starting tomorrow morning, please ensure the kitchen prepares enough for all the knights. I require the rations to be brought to the inner courtyard every day at dawn," he requested gently. He maintained a soft tone, mindful that she was his mother rather than a subordinate, and Lucy was someone he held in high regard.
Watching Landon's striking features, Lucy felt a blush creep up her neck. 'When did Brother Landon become so charismatic and handsome?' she wondered, her face deepening in color as she watched him.
Meanwhile, Kim gazed at her son's handsome face with a smile. 'My little baby has truly grown up,' she thought, amused by his tough, masculine display. Reaching out to playfully pinch his cheeks, she said,
"My little boy is all grown up now. Of course, I will handle it. This is our home, after all. Just tell me whatever you need."
"Brother Landon, you don't even have to ask! I'll do anything you require," Lucy added.
Realizing the weight of her enthusiastic words, Lucy's blush intensified further. Kim noticed the girl's reaction and couldn't suppress a giggle, leaving Landon puzzled as to why his mother was laughing.
"Thank you, Mother. Thank you, Lucy."
Looking at them, he felt truly fortunate. Despite the warmth of the moment, he couldn't help but let out a silent sigh.
'Women, why won't you take me seriously? I might look fifteen, but I'm a grown man for heaven's sake. Can't you see this is a solemn military briefing? You just acknowledged I've grown up, yet here you are, pinching my cheeks in front of everyone? ...Sigh, I give up. It's a miracle no one noticed, or this commanding atmosphere would be ruined.'
After finishing his conversation with his mother, he looked back to see the soldiers had successfully divided into three groups, with Commander Lucius standing apart. He walked toward them with a stern expression.
"Since our kingdom has three Knight Captains, every knight will be assigned to one of them. These Captains will, in turn, report directly to Commander Lucius. Captain Josh!"
Josh emerged from the ranks and offered a formal salute.
"My King," he acknowledged, remaining on bended knee.
"You are charged with the leadership, training, and welfare of the men in the first unit."
"As you command, my King."
Josh approached Lucius, saluted him with a "Commander," and then took his place before the first group.
As he reached them, the soldiers shouted in unison,
"Captain!"
Josh stood at the head of his unit and turned back to Landon. The King proceeded to repeat the process, assigning the remaining teams to Mark and Gary.
Once the organization was complete and the groups were settled, the men faced Landon and cried out, "My Lord!"
They felt a genuine sense of belonging here, a sharp contrast to their time in the Capital. Never before had anyone shown them the level of personal attention Landon provided.
"From this day forward, you will treat one another as family—as brothers. You shall eat, work, and grow powerful together as we build this kingdom. No knight will ever be left behind."
The soldiers were stunned by his words. No one left behind? It was a concept they had never encountered. In their world, the prevailing law was that the strong flourished while the weak were discarded. Most of them had been viewed as inferior in the empire, so Landon's declaration moved them deeply.
"For the time being, we shall conduct a survey of the territory. Commander Lucius, your thoughts?" Landon asked, turning to his senior officer.
"My King, that is a brilliant plan. I suggest we all participate in the inspection so we can properly determine how to defend Baymard," Lucius replied without hesitation.
"I concur. We must have a comprehensive grasp of our environment. The data we collect will allow us to distribute roles and duties effectively... Come, let us go see Baymard."
Just as he prepared to lead the men out, Lucius stopped him with a mischievous glint in his eye.
"Little Landon, do your cheeks still hurt?"
