Mo Yesi entered his Presidential Suite, only to find the door locked from outside by his friends, who had prepared a beautiful woman as a gift. Hearing sounds from the bathroom, he confronted the stunning occupant and coldly ordered her to leave. Unaffected by his usual repulsion toward women, he was stunned when she embraced and kissed him, pleading, 'Help me.'

Upon waking up, Qiao Mianmian found herself alone on the massive bed, yet the bathroom still echoed with the sound of running water.

She propped herself up against the headboard, her thoughts blank for several seconds until the memories surged back.

Her complexion turned ashen as the events of the night before replayed in her mind.

While lost in her reflections, the water sounds from the bathroom suddenly stopped.

Qiao Mianmian paid it no mind. Ignoring the soreness in her body, she slid off the bed, quickly dressed, and slipped away quietly.

Qiao Mianmian had just taken a few steps when the bathroom door creaked open.

Mo Yesi emerged from the bathroom.

A bath towel was wrapped around his waist, revealing his sculpted chest and powerful shoulders.

His damp hair lent him a relaxed, effortless vibe.

He glanced around the room and froze briefly upon seeing the empty, rumpled bed. Puzzled, he headed toward it.

He dialed Lu Rao, and a lazy drawl soon responded. “Ah Si, what got you taking the initiative to call me for a change?”

Mo Yesi brushed off the tease and cut straight to it. “There was a lady in my room last night.”

It went silent.

Then came the sound of the man on the line choking and coughing. “W-What did you say? Ah Si, am I understanding you correctly? You and the woman... have done it?”

Mo Yesi simply acknowledged. “Mm.”

The man kept coughing and gasping for air, as if he'd witnessed the sun rising from the west. “Heck! Haven’t you always detested women touching you? I remember a woman who accidentally touched you once, and you immediately went off to wash your hands 10 times over.”

Mo Yesi paused for a few moments before replying, “She’s different from the rest. My body doesn’t feel repulsed by her. In fact, I like it when she gets near me.”

The lady from last night hadn’t disgusted him in the slightest.

On top of that, he was drawn to her subtle, faint fragrance.

An irresistible pull made him crave her proximity.

He’d called Lu Rao to unravel this unprecedented sensation.

He’d never felt anything like it before.

“And...” Mo Yesi eyed the disheveled bed and hesitated before adding, “I slept for six hours last night. I didn’t wake up in the middle, nor did I have that nightmare.”

Lu Rao sounded utterly shocked. “What’s going on here?”

Mo Yesi massaged his temple, his voice turning slightly hoarse. “I wouldn’t be calling you if I knew. I’m wondering, has it got something to do with her?”

Lu Rao asked, “The woman who made you impure?”

Mo Yesi went quiet.

Lu Rao dropped the playfulness and turned serious. “If you want to know whether it’s got something to do with her, then that’s simple. Just have contact with her another time.”

Mo Yesi was still silent.

Lu Rao said, “Ah Si, I’m not kidding with you. If it’s really something about her, she might just be your savior.”

Savior?

His world had been shrouded in darkness and gloom for 20 years; he figured he’d grown accustomed to it.

Without ever knowing warmth or light, he’d keep adapting to that existence.

But once he’d tasted the glow, going back to the shadows was unthinkable.

If she truly was his savior, then he’d possess her, no matter the cost.

Wei Zheng answered the call and heard a deep, crisp command. “Find out who the woman in my room last night is. Now.”

“Yes, President Mo.”
