After speaking, Chen Mobai’s eyes roamed over the assembly before finally resting on the Master of Earth Virtue Mountain. He gave a faint smile and said: "Senior Brother Earth Virtue, it has been a long time."

The Master of Earth Virtue Mountain managed a strained smile in return: "Junior Brother Chen, you have arrived as well."

Though their words were polite, the cultivators present could sense the underlying friction between them.
