I Have 10,000 SSS Rank Villains In My System Space Chapter 515: Deepest Secrets
Previously on I Have 10,000 SSS Rank Villains In My System Space...
Seeing Razeal remain silent, the World Regents slowly frowned one after another. None of them interrupted him immediately.
They understood why he was hesitating. If a Supreme God had personally approached him, then whatever had happened between them was undoubtedly one of the greatest secrets in existence. Asking him to reveal such things was no different from asking him to expose the deepest secret of his own life.
Even so, this matter no longer concerned Razeal alone. The portals, the Emperor-ranked monsters, and the possible involvement of the Preserver threatened the entire world.
Eventually, Elven Queen Elessa broke the silence. Her voice remained as gentle and soothing as before, carrying the calmness of an ancient forest.
"Your hesitation is reasonable Regent Razeal," she said while looking directly into Razeal’s crimson eyes. "Anything involving you and the Preserver is naturally sensitive. No one here expects you to reveal everything." She paused briefly before continuing in a more serious tone.
"However... the information you possess may be the very thing this world needs. It may help us understand what is happening... or perhaps even stop it."
Her beautiful green eyes slowly moved across the entire council table before returning to Razeal. "Trust is not something that can simply be demanded," she admitted honestly.
"Especially from someone who has lived the life you have which i am somewhat aware of." Her words caused several Regents to quietly glance toward Razeal before returning their attention to her.
"But as one of the World Regents, I can vouch for everyone seated within this hall." She spoke each word slowly and clearly.
"Whatever sensitive information is shared during this council shall remain within this council It will never be used against you, nor will it leave these walls." Her expression became slightly firmer, carrying the dignity expected from someone who had ruled an ancient race for centuries. "The World Council still possesses that much dignity."
Several Regents quietly nodded.
No one argued.
Even Lucian, who had questioned Razeal the most since his arrival, gave a slow nod of agreement.
Elessa continued, "Yes... each of us has our own kingdoms, races, responsibilities, ambitions, and interests. We disagree often. Sometimes we even oppose one another." A faint smile appeared upon her elegant face.
"But there is one thing that has always united everyone sitting at this table." Her eyes became serious once again. "The peace and survival of this world."
She looked directly at Razeal.
"If the knowledge you possess can help guide us toward that goal... then I ask you to trust us."
The hall became quiet again.
Razeal slowly looked around the ancient table.
Every Regent was watching him.
There were no mocking expressions anymore.
No amusement.
No dissatisfaction.
Only seriousness.
His gaze finally rested upon Elessa. The Elven Queen radiated an atmosphere unlike anyone else in the room. Even surrounded by countless overwhelming auras, hers remained gentle, warm, and peaceful, like standing beneath an ancient tree while listening to leaves dancing in the wind. Her voice carried no pressure. She had not demanded anything from him. She had simply... asked.
Razeal remained silent for several more seconds before finally giving a small nod.
"...It’s fine."
His calm answer immediately drew everyone’s full attention.
"I’m not worried that any of you could change anything by knowing the truth or use it against me." He lightly shook his head while speaking. "Even if I told you everything I know..." He looked around the table once more. "...nothing about my own situation would really change."
He stopped briefly.
Then, unexpectedly...
A faint smile appeared on his face.
"Actually..."
"I’d be happier if you all could change it."
The smile remained for only a moment before disappearing again.
"But..." he quietly added while leaning slightly against his shadow throne, "...I don’t have very high hopes."
Silence.
Several Regents frowned slightly.
His words sounded strange.
They carried disappointment...
Resignation...
And something deeper that none of them could properly understand.
It almost sounded...
As though Razeal himself had already given up believing that his own fate could ever be changed now or have little confidence.. almost as if little tired.
The meaning behind those words lingered inside the Sovereign Hall.
Nobody interrupted him.
Nobody rushed him.
They simply waited.
Seeing that no one spoke, Razeal continued on his own.
"It’s because of my destiny and my fate..."
"...thats the reason why he became interested in me."
The hall grew even quieter.
"As many of you already know," Razeal continued calmly, "the Preserver’s duty is to preserve the Cosmic Order."
He spoke those words naturally, without reverence or fear.
"He maintains the balance between everything that exists."
"He sees the threads of fate."
"He sees destiny."
"And among all beings... he alone understands what the world itself wishes to preserve... and what it wishes to erase."
Several Regents silently nodded.
Those familiar with ancient divine records recognized those descriptions immediately.
Others listened with complete attention.
"He is neither Creation..." Razeal continued.
"...nor Destruction."
"He stands exactly between them."
"He is the equilibrium."
"He understands what must be created..."
"...what must be destroyed..."
"...and what should simply be allowed to continue."
Razeal’s crimson eyes remained calm as he spoke.
"His duty is not to rule, judge or even to choose."
"He exists to ensure that fate reaches the destination it was always meant to reach."
His voice became slightly quieter.
"He believes there is only one true path."
"The path chosen by the Cosmic Order itself."
"And his responsibility... is to make sure nothing prevents that path from becoming reality."
A deep silence followed.
Even Regents who already knew fragments of the Preserver’s existence found themselves listening carefully.
The short explanation Razeal had given somehow painted a far clearer picture than countless ancient records ever had.
Many had known only his name.
Now...
They understood his purpose.
"...Interesting."
Archmage Valerion slowly stroked his beard again, his ancient eyes becoming deeper than before.
"So..." he murmured thoughtfully while studying Razeal with obvious curiosity.
"If the Preserver truly governs fate in this manner..."
His eyes narrowed.
"...then what is so unusual about your destiny... that it forced even such a being to personally descend into this world?"
He leaned forward ever so slightly.
"Why you...?"
The old man’s voice remained calm.
Yet every word carried enormous weight.
"What is so extraordinary about your fate..."
Several Regents unconsciously leaned forward.
Nova’s fingers slowly tightened against the armrest of her throne as never ever being aware of something like this.
Selena held her breath without realizing it.
Even Nerrisa’s platinum eyes sharpened slightly.
No one spoke again.
The entire Sovereign Hall waited silently...
For Razeal’s answer.
"That is because..." Razeal began calmly, "...I somehow escaped the grasp of fate... and my destiny." He paused for a brief moment before slowly shaking his head.
"No..." he corrected himself with complete honesty. "That isn’t entirely right." His crimson eyes lowered slightly in thought before lifting once again toward the old Headmaster.
"I tried to escape it." His voice remained calm, almost casual, as if he were speaking about an ordinary decision rather than something that challenged the very laws governing existence.
"I became aware of the destiny prepared for me." His lips curved into a faint smile that did not quite reach his eyes. "I didn’t like it... so I tried to change it." The smile lingered only for a second before fading. "And... I succeeded. At least... to some extent." He leaned back slightly upon his shadow throne. "I managed to alter part of my fate."
The Sovereign Hall fell into complete silence.
No one moved.
No one even blinked.
Those few simple sentences carried a weight so absurd that, for several seconds, the minds of the World Regents refused to process them.
Razeal continued before anyone could interrupt him.
"And that..." he said with a faint shrug, "...seems to have frightened that Preserver bastard."
His choice of words alone made several Regents twitch slightly.
Calling one of the Three Supreme Gods...
A bastard... With a completely straight face...
Perhaps only crazy person could do such a thing.
"So he came down personally." Razeal spoke as though everything made perfect sense.
"After all, that’s his duty. Fate and destiny are supposed to move exactly as they were meant to." He slowly crossed one leg over the other while remaining seated comfortably. "Ever since then, he has been trying to convince me to walk the same path that fate originally prepared."
A small sigh escaped him.
"Well..."
He smiled again.
"...’Convince’ is probably the wrong word."
His crimson eyes became colder.
"Force."
"He’s been trying to force me."
The words echoed softly throughout the ancient hall.
Archmage Valerion’s fingers, which had been calmly stroking his beard until now, suddenly froze.
"Escaped..." the old man whispered almost unconsciously. "...the grasp of fate?"
He repeated those words slowly, almost unable to believe he had heard them correctly.
An instinctive chill ran across his entire body. His old eyes slightly widened ever so slightly.
It was not simply because of what Razeal had said... It was because he fully understood what those words actually meant. Unlike ordinary people, everyone seated within this hall knew what fate truly was.
They understood destiny well some part of it.
Those were not prophecies.
They were not guesses.
They were not possibilities.
They were absolute laws.
The oldest and most fundamental laws of reality itself.
They existed before kingdoms.
Before races.
Before civilizations.
Even before many gods.
Everything born into existence eventually followed the path carved by fate.
Kings.
Beggars.
Saints.
Monsters.
Even gods themselves.
None could escape it.
None could even perceive it.
Not truly.
Becoming aware of one’s own destiny alone was already considered impossible.
Changing it...
That belonged entirely outside common sense.
Valerion slowly looked at the young man sitting quietly upon the shadow throne.
His expression changed completely.
The curiosity he had shown earlier disappeared. In its place appeared something far deeper.
Something solemn.
Almost... Fear?
Not fear of Razeal’s strength.
Not fear of his mysterious sword.
Not fear of his talent.
No.
Fear of what kind of existence could actually accomplish such a thing.
"...Impossible..." the old Headmaster whispered beneath his breath.
Every Regent sitting around the ancient table now looked at Razeal differently.
Earlier they had viewed him as a mysterious young genius.
Now... That image no longer fit.
None of them had ever heard of a mortal escaping fate.
Not even in myths.
Not even in forgotten records.
Even Nerrisa remained unusually quiet.
Deep within her platinum eyes rested unmistakable surprise.
It was hidden well.
Very well.
Most people would never notice it. But those who knew her could. She had truly not expected this answer.
She slowly folded both hands together before speaking.
"You said..." she began carefully, "...that you attempted to escape your destiny..."
Her platinum eyes never left Razeal.
"And because of that the Preserver is after you?... to convince you?"
She paused briefly.
Then corrected herself exactly as Razeal had.
"No... to force you."
Her voice remained calm. Yet every word carried tremendous weight.
The hall became even heavier.
No Regent was foolish enough to overlook what those sentences implied.
A Supreme God.
One of the Three.
Leaving whatever responsibility existed at the highest level of reality... Descending into a lower realm...
Paying an unimaginable divine price...
Weakening itself...
Simply...
To stop one young man.
How important...
How dangerous...
How significant...
Did Razeal have to be...
For something like that to happen?
Even if the situation sounded almost ridiculous... Almost embarrassing for a being as proud as a Supreme God...
None of the Regents laughed.
Not one.
Because they all understood. If such an existence had personally acted...
Then the matter had already surpassed the level where common logic applied.
For the first time...
Many of them wondered whether the young man sitting before them might be connected to something far greater than the portals themselves.
Even.. Sylva, who stood quietly behind the Elven Queen’s throne, suddenly stiffened slightly. Her green eyes remained fixed upon Razeal, while her lips unconsciously pressed together. The more she listened, the more unbelievable everything became.
But It didn’t feel bad at all. In fact, it felt strangely satisfying. Sylva continued looking toward Razeal, and a small smile slowly appeared on her lips.
She still remembered the day they had fought during the Duel of Honor. Even back then, after witnessing his terrifying talent and monstrous rate of growth, she had known with certainty that one day this young man would stand among the strongest powerhouses in the world. She had never doubted that.
Yet... even with all that confidence, she had never imagined that day would arrive so quickly. Back then she had defeated him rather easily, even holding back a large portion of her own strength, and now... he was already sitting upon a throne among the World Regents, a position she herself had never even thought about. That alone was shocking enough.
But now they were hearing that even a Supreme God had personally descended into the mortal realm because of him. Not to bless him... not to reward him... but to convince him... even force him onto a certain path. The weight behind those words was enough to make even her heart tremble. Looking at Razeal now, he no longer felt like an ordinary genius.
He felt mysterious... almost impossible to understand. Every answer he gave only created even more questions. Yet strangely, that did not discourage her at all. Instead, her smile deepened slightly. she thought to herself.
Outside of Sylva’s thoughts, Razeal slowly turned his crimson eyes toward Nerrisa, the same tired smile still resting upon his face.
"Not entirely," he said, giving a small shake of his head.
"He would have descended into this world as an avatar regardless, even if I had never changed my fate. The duty he had to perform was simply too important not to. However..." He paused for only a moment before continuing calmly. "I would still be more than half of the reason for his descent."
His words sounded almost modest, yet nobody inside the Sovereign Hall underestimated what they truly meant. These were the rulers of continents, beings who had stood at the peak of the world for centuries. They understood the weight hidden behind simple words far better than ordinary people ever could. If someone could calmly claim that they were responsible for more than half the reason a Supreme God abandoned the Heavens and descended into the mortal realm, then that person was anything but ordinary.
None of them believed Razeal was boasting either. His calm smile, his relaxed posture, and even the way Nerrisa silently accepted his words without questioning them only made his statement sound even more believable. By now, every single Regent had reached the same conclusion in their minds.
The Elven Queen remained silent for a few moments before finally asking the question that everyone present wanted answered. Her gentle emerald eyes rested upon Razeal as she spoke in the same soft yet serious voice.
"If I may ask, Regent Razeal... what exactly is your fate? What destiny is so important that Preserver himself repeatedly descends into this world just to force you onto it?"
The hall instantly became silent.
No one moved.
No one interrupted.
Every pair of eyes settled upon Razeal.
Even the breathing inside the enormous Sovereign Hall seemed to grow quieter.
Razeal could clearly feel every gaze fixed upon him. Curious ones. Doubtful ones. Calm ones. Serious ones. Some even carried excitement. He remained silent for several long seconds, almost as though deciding whether he should truly answer. Finally, he let out a slow breath. A tired smile appeared upon his face once again. Then he slowly looked around at every single Regent before speaking.
"...It is destruction."
His calm voice echoed throughout the vast hall.
"My destiny..."
"...is to destroy this world."
The words spread through the Sovereign Hall like an invisible explosion.
Silence.
Absolute silence.
Not a single person had expected such an answer.
Even those who had imagined the worst possibilities never thought they would hear something like this.
Razeal looked around at all of them before speaking once more, that same mysterious yet exhausted smile still resting upon his face.
"I... am the villain of this world."
No one answered.
Lucian’s fierce eyes narrowed sharply.
"...Destroy the world?" he murmured beneath his breath, almost whispering to himself.
The Beast Queen Sylvara’s phoenix-like eyes became serious.
The Spirit King’s expression remained calm, slowly opening his crossed arms..
Even old Headmaster Valerion no longer looked merely curious. His old eyes had become incredibly solemn.
Nova, Selena, Marcella...
None of them spoke.
Razeal quietly observed all of their reactions. He could clearly feel the way every gaze upon him had changed. Just moments ago they had looked at him with curiosity and interest. Now there wa
