I Have 10,000 SSS Rank Villains In My System Space Chapter 484: Merisa X Razeal

"And this might be the time for you to take your own advice... Empress."
And after those words, there was a very long silence.
The kind of silence that felt strange. Heavy. Nobody spoke. Nobody moved. Even Sofia found herself holding her breath without realizing it. Nerrisa simply stared at Razeal while Razeal stared right back at her with the same calm expression as before. There was no challenge in his eyes, no arrogance, no excitement. If anything, he looked almost bored. As if threatening the strongest person in the world and telling her to follow her own advice was just another normal conversation to him. The silence stretched for several seconds before Nerrisa finally moved.
"Umm..." She slowly turned her head away from Razeal and looked toward Merisa instead.
"Merisa..." She pointed her thumb backward toward Razeal without even looking at him.
"You seeing this?" Her voice carried genuine confusion.
Actual confusion.
Not anger no annoyance but sheer Confusion.
The expression on her face almost looked like someone had just shown her something she couldn’t understand.
Merisa instinctively nodded.
"Yes." Only after nodding did she realize how stiff her own face had become. Honestly, she didn’t know how she was supposed to react anymore. Every few minutes Razeal seemed determined to shorten his lifespan by another hundred years. Threatening Nerrisa was already unbelievable enough. Then he followed it by calmly explaining why he didn’t fear death. Then he gave the strongest woman alive life advice.
At this point even Merisa wasn’t sure whether she should be proud, horrified, or both. She was horrified in actual.. Actually.. Scared.. its just she doesn’t show it.
Receiving absolutely no satisfactory response from her, Nerrisa slowly shook her head.
Then she turned back toward Razeal.
The smile she had before was gone.
A sour expression appeared on her face instead.
"You are no fun, nephew." She sighed dramatically.
"I came here in such a good mood." She pointed at herself. "I even brought you good news."
Then she spread her arms outward.
"I was expecting something."
"A funny reaction? A shocked face? Happiness? Anger? Confusion.. How about just Anything?"
"But Nooooo."
She looked around as if presenting the entire situation to everyone present.
"And now look." The sour expression deepened.
"Look what happened."
She opened both arms wider.
"You ruined my mood." She sounded genuinely disappointed. Like a child whose favorite toy had suddenly broken.
The change was so ridiculous that Sofia almost couldn’t believe it. Only moments ago these two looked one sentence away from trying to kill each other. The atmosphere had been so dangerous that Sofia was already imagining every possible disaster scenario.
And now?
Now Nerrisa looked annoyed because her nephew wasn’t reacting properly to her good news. Her entire aura had changed.
Gone was the terrifying pressure. Gone was the dangerous calmness.
Gone was the feeling that she could erase everyone present with a thought.
Now she just looked annoyed. Like someone whose favorite lollipop had been stolen.
Childish.
Very childish.
Yet at the same time everyone present understood something important.
She had stepped back.
The confrontation was over.
At least for now.
The reason however?
Nobody knew.
Maybe she genuinely didn’t want to kill Razeal.
Maybe she didn’t want to kill because of Merisa.
Maybe there were larger consequences she didn’t want to deal with.
Maybe she simply didn’t think the situation was worth escalating.
Or perhaps...
Perhaps she really was considering the possibility that Razeal possessed some ridiculous method he kept hinting about.
Some dangerous card he says he didn’t want to use?
Of course, the possibility of Nerrisa actually being afraid of that method was about as likely as Celestia suddenly kneeling before Razeal and politely begging him for an apple.
Completely absurd.
Almost impossible.
Yet... Who knew?
Nobody could confidently claim to understand Nerrisa.
The woman was far too unpredictable.
Maybe she had reasons nobody else could see.
Maybe she simply didn’t care enough. Maybe she changed her mind because she felt like it.
Maybe she thought the entire argument was stupid.
Every explanation somehow felt equally valid.
Right now, however, she simply looked annoyed while staring at Razeal as if he had personally ruined her day.
Sofia immediately noticed the difference.
The moment Nerrisa’s expression softened, the tension inside her body started disappearing. A long breath escaped her lips before she even realized she had been holding it.
Relief.
Pure relief.
No fight.. Good.
Very good.
She repeated those words inside her head several times.
Because a fight was literally the last thing she wanted right now.
Absolutely the last thing.
Her heart still hadn’t recovered from what almost happened.
In fact, she had been seconds away from sending an emergency signal to her mother.
Not a normal one either. A super emergency signal.
The kind she had only been told to use in the worst possible situations.
The kind that would immediately summon her mother.
A Divine Seat.
One of the highest existences in existence.
And yet strangely enough, despite knowing how powerful her mother was, Sofia didn’t actually wanted to do it. Because deep inside her instincts kept screaming the same thing.
That would be a terrible idea.
An absolutely terrible idea as something worse would happen.. And concequnces would be bad.
She couldn’t explain why would she feel like that?
As.. Logically speaking, her mother was a goddess.
So why did her instincts keep telling her not to involve her?
Why did she feel things would become even worse?
She didn’t know.
But she trusted that feeling.
Meanwhile Merisa also released the breath she had been holding. Her eyes remained fixed on Nerrisa’s side profile. She knew Nerrisa well enough to recognize when she was serious and when she wasn’t. Right now the danger had mostly disappeared. The childish annoyed expression was actually a very good sign. It meant Nerrisa had lost interest in the confrontation.
That alone reduced the chances of disaster by an enormous amount. Even then Merisa couldn’t completely relax because Nerrisa’s moods changed faster than the weather. One moment she could be smiling and the next she could be deciding the fate of kingdoms. Still, compared to moments ago, this was infinitely better.
Then her eyes shifted toward Razeal. Immediately irritation appeared on her face.
Not because she hated him. Not because she was angry. Which she was
But mostly.. Because she was terrified.
The boy simply refused to stop provoking people stronger than him.
Again.
And again.
And again.
As if death itself was merely a suggestion.
As if consequences were optional.
As if threatening the strongest woman in the world was perfectly normal behavior.
The thought alone made her chest tighten.
"Razeal!" She yelled. Her voice suddenly echoed loudly.
Much louder than ever.
Both Sofia and even Nerrisa glanced toward her.
"Stop it!" She looked directly at him.
"Do you even know what you are doing?" There was genuine fear behind her words.
Fear she wasn’t even trying to hide anymore.
"Stop provoking her." Her voice became stronger.
"And.. Stop playing with your life." Because from Merisa’s perspective that was exactly what he was doing. Always since she had seen him after return.
Every sentence he spoke felt like another step toward a cliff.
Every word pushed things further.
And the worst part? He didn’t even seem to care.
That terrified her far more than any threat Nerrisa could make.
Razeal had just shaken his head while looking at Nerrisa. Even now he could clearly tell what she was doing. The woman had smoothly turned a confrontation that was moments away from becoming life and death into childish banter as if she had only been joking the entire time. Whether it was because she truly didn’t care, because she didn’t want things to escalate, or because she had reasons nobody understood, he couldn’t tell. Nor did he care.
But thats when his attention was suddenly pulled away from her when Merisa’s voice reached his ears. Instinctively, his neck turned toward her. The moment he saw the look on her face, those wet eyes, that worry she wasn’t even trying to hide anymore, his expression immediately became colder. "Don’t speak to me in that tone." His voice cut through the atmosphere sharply.
"You are no longer my mother, so don’t speak like one. And my life is none of your concern. What I do with it is my business. Nobody else’s. Especially not yours."
The words struck Merisa harder than any blade ever could. Her body instinctively froze. It wasn’t because of the rejection. She had already prepared herself for that. It wasn’t because he refused to call her mother. She had accepted that as well. No. What hurt was hearing him speak so casually about his own life.
The same words he had spoken earlier echoed through her mind again. The way he said there was nothing in his life worth cherishing. The way he talked about throwing it away if he felt like it. The way he genuinely believed there was nothing precious about his own existence. For a mother, there were few things more painful than that. Because what did that mean? It meant somewhere along the way she had failed. Failed so badly that her own son couldn’t even see value in himself anymore. Failed so badly that he genuinely believed his life had no worth. Failed so badly that he couldn’t see any reason to protect it. The realization felt like someone was slowly crushing her heart inside their fist. Her eyes became wetter. Not crying. Not breaking.
She refused to cry. But they were wet. Trembling. Shining. Looking like they were one push away from finally breaking. "Never."
Her voice trembled. "Never say those words again. Your life... your life is precious."
She shook her head. "No. No, you have absolutely no idea how precious it is." There was anger in her voice now. Not anger toward him. Anger toward the thoughts inside his head.
"I don’t know what kind of fake reality you’ve locked yourself inside to think like this. Not loving your own life? Not cherishing it? Why would you even say something like that? Let me guess. Because you think nobody loves you?
"Because you think nobody cares about you? Because you think nobody is waiting for you? Because you think if you died nobody would cry?" The words exploded out of her.
"You know nothing, you naive fool. For one minute... just one minute stop deciding what everyone else thinks. Stop acting like you know what is inside everyone’s hearts. You have absolutely no idea how many people are waiting for you. How many people want to care for you. How many people cherish you. How many people are waiting for you to come back. You have a fucking home." Her trembling finger pointed directly at him. "You have a home."
"You kicked me OUT." Razeal’s voice exploded back instantly. For the first time his calm expression cracked. His crimson eyes sharpened. "It is no longer my Home."
"I have no Home."
"You have a HOUSE." Merisa practically shouted back. Her voice carried years of frustration.
"It is you who refuses to come back. People are waiting for YOU. There are people who love you.. Stop rejecting that.." Her body was trembling now. Not from fear. From emotion. The atmosphere became silent.
Even Nerrisa had stopped speaking. Even Sofia remained completely quiet. Because nobody had ever seen Merisa like this. Not the Matriarch. Not the terrifying powerhouse. Not the woman feared across the continent. Just a mother. A desperate mother.
"And you know what? Those words you said earlier. About not caring what you achieve. About not caring whether you become stronger. About not caring because there is no one for you? Nobody who would be happy for you. Nobody who would be proud of you." She laughed bitterly, a painful laugh.
"Your stupidity... you have no fucking idea. I am proud." The words came out almost like a confession.
"I am proud of you." Her voice shook.
"So proud that it hurts. There are others too. Many people who would be happier than you can imagine seeing how far you’ve come. You did it. The thing you wanted your entire life. When I saw you fighting... when I saw you using abilities... when I saw you using magic... I didn’t even understand what I was looking at. I didn’t care. I was so damn happy. So happy that I couldn’t even think straight. Because my boy finally got it." Her wet eyes never left him.
"I was so fuckingg happyy i had criedd in happyness so dont tell meee thattt.."
"And Selena. You know she used to pray for you? Your entire childhood. Pray for you to gain mana. Pray for you to be able to do the things everyone else could do. Pray for you to stop suffering. I am absolutely certain she would be even happier than me seeing you now. Cried in happyness more then i could ever.. And Celestia. And your sister Nova? They would never say it. They are total payco idiots theyy would never admit it. But I know. I know they were dammn happy too." Her voice became quieter, but somehow even more painful.
