I Fabricated the Techniques, but my disciple really mastered them? Chapter 1172: Extra Story: Taihao and the Apocalypse Evil Thoughts_5
Previously on I Fabricated the Techniques, but my disciple really mastered them?...
Deep in seclusion, Hao remained entirely oblivious to the fact that the dark thoughts he had purged had not faded away. Instead, they had intensified, growing in strength until they nearly rivaled his own. This entity’s malice and hunger for universal annihilation had reached a terrifying peak.
Meanwhile, the Taihao Realm continued its slow journey through the void, steadily increasing in power. Within the boundless expanse of the Thirty-three Layer Heaven, a multitude of races competed for dominance, and countless living beings flourished, giving rise to extraordinary prodigies.
As eras passed, new factions finally emerged within the Thirty-three Layer Heaven. Under Chi’s careful management, these forces maintained a state of equilibrium, preventing any single power from ruling the Taihao Realm with an iron fist.
Boom!
A sudden tremor shook the foundations of the Taihao Realm. Thick, swirling dark mists suddenly engulfed the First Layer Heaven, threatening to obliterate everything in their path. The powerful experts of the heavenly realms descended to quell the darkness, but they were instead tainted by its corruption, becoming savage and bloodthirsty. Once again, the Taihao Realm was plunged into a massive upheaval that spanned all Thirty-three Heavens, igniting a brutal war between the forces of righteousness and evil.
Sensing a grave anomaly, Chi appeared to suppress the dark Qi, only to be intercepted by "Hao." This figure claimed that such a catastrophe was a necessary step for the realm to reach true perfection.
Trusting this, Chi ceased his intervention. However, as the conflict between light and shadow grew more violent, more than half of all life was snuffed out. With half of the world's races completely eradicated, Chi began to realize that something was fundamentally wrong.
Why was the real Hao not stepping in?
Feeling a growing sense of dread but unable to pinpoint the cause, Chi waited until only thirty percent of life remained. With the Taihao Realm drowning in despair, Chi finally demanded to know when this disaster would conclude and why it was required.
"We emerge from the void and return to it, only to be born anew; this is the true path of the Dao."
Hao smiled and remarked, "Chi, you do not understand. Simply observe."
In that instant, terror gripped Chi as he realized the "Hao" standing before him was an impostor. This version of Hao was saturated with malevolence, serving as the vessel for all the world’s wickedness.
"You are not Hao!"
"I am. I am the true Hao!"
"You... you are..."
Paralyzed by fear, Chi released a burst of power that surged outward, jolting the real Hao awake from his deep seclusion. Just as expected, another Hao stepped out from his place of meditation.
Hao looked upon the manifestation of his evil thoughts with a grim expression.
"You have no right to exist!"
"If I did not exist, how could you? I am your reflection. None of this world deserves to remain!"
"I shall end you this day!"
Hao struck, initiating a cosmic struggle of unparalleled proportions. The evil thought of destruction fought without restraint, but Hao was forced to hold back, terrified that their battle would completely shatter the Taihao Realm. Throughout the grueling conflict, Hao struck down the malicious entity repeatedly, yet it regenerated almost instantly.
"You cannot slay me. As long as there is malice within Taihao, I am eternal. Only by destroying Taihao itself can you truly kill me. Go on, destroy Taihao!"
Stricken with grief, Hao could not bring himself to annihilate his creation. Looking at the fractured realm and the splintered remains of the Creation Tree’s roots, he narrowed his eyes and moved once more.
"Ha-ha! If you refuse to end this world, I shall do it for you!"
The malevolent entity laughed maniacally as the Taihao Realm began to crumble under thunderous explosions, turning the battlefield into a chaotic mess. Imperishable Qi surged from the earth, coalescing into a realm of Chaos.
"Master, let me assist you!"
Chi bellowed, igniting his very essence to join the fray. Hao took a heavy breath, burning his own Cultivation path as he looked toward the ethereal heavens with a weary sigh.
"If only the Dao were as simple as a book, how magnificent it would be to truly master the Great Dao."
Following his lament, Hao gathered his remaining strength to tear open a void between the chaos and the ruined Taihao, hurlng the destructive evil thought into the abyss.
"Hao, you are insane! You are committing suicide! But you cannot kill me, nor can you defeat me. I shall return to this world and burn it to ash!"
The world-ending malice shrieked its defiance.
Roar!
Chi burned his lifeforce fiercely to support Hao. He stole one final glance at his master, witnessing his own origin as a final drop of his blood fell into the swirling chaos.
Hao’s form grew increasingly translucent, on the verge of vanishing. He looked at the shattered roots of the Creation Tree and scattered them across the broken Taihao Realm. The largest fragment, resembling a piece of peerless jade, plummeted deep into the earth.
The fading figure then worked to stabilize the post-war Taihao Realm, mending the Thirty-three Layers of Heaven. He noted that while most life had perished, the most intelligent and complex beings—the Human Clan—had become the dominant force. Hao looked at his own reflection and gave a bittersweet smile; he was, after all, the progenitor of these humanoid beings, and they all carried his influence.
"Taihao is greater than I am. The world is a beautiful place; why should it be destroyed? May this realm endure for eternity."
Hao whispered to himself, sighing again. He was so close to the ultimate Dao, yet he would never gaze upon it again.
"If only the Dao were a book for me to read... but could the Dao ever be such a thing?"
With a final sigh, Hao returned to the land of his birth and quietly dissolved, vanishing from existence entirely.
Years turned into centuries, and eras flowed by. Following that cataclysmic war, the Taihao Realm entered a new age of prosperity, though it was different from the original—now bordered by the Land of Chaotic Imperishable beyond the Thirty-three Heavens.
Great experts rose and fell, each defining their own age as a new epoch dawned. A certain genius emerged, seizing a Taihao Divine Object and forging the Indestructible Divine Armor. He founded the Indestructible Divine Palace and took the title of Indestructible Divine Master.
Within a desolate corner of the Taihao First Layer Heaven, a young man appeared. No one knew that this barren wasteland was the exact location where Hao had once dissipated.
The youth possessed talent and skill beyond compare, and he was soon celebrated as the greatest prodigy in the history of Taihao.
His name was Taicang!
