Lu Qing's avatar traveled through the starry sky and entered a Small World suspected to be a Sub-Temple of the Black and White Temple. Upon entry, he found the world corrupted by demonic energy and thick with the resentment of tortured souls, particularly concentrated around a towering white mountain.

In the distance, it appeared entirely snow-white, emitting a faint glow beneath the gray sky.

But that white color was not the hue of rock.

Lu Qing could see clearly that the mountain was formed by countless white bones stacked together.

Skulls, rib bones, leg bones, arm bones...

Various kinds of bones layered and densely piled together, forming a mountain thousands of feet high.

The bones varied in size and shape; some belonged to humans, others to the alien race, and some couldn’t even be identified as any living creature’s.

Years of erosion had made those bones brittle, their surfaces covered in cracks.

Yet, many more bones were still fresh, with traces of flesh remaining as if they had been stripped not long ago.

Staring at the "majestic" mountain before him, even Lu Qing could hardly imagine how many living creatures' remains were gathered here.

Millions? Tens of millions? Or hundreds of millions?

He dared not think about it, nor did he wish to.

No wonder that upon arriving here, he hardly felt the presence of any living creatures.

In such a vast world, he couldn’t sense a single living entity.

It’s as if all the world’s creatures had met their tragic end here.

Lu Qing looked at the massive bone mountain before him, his expression solemn, a surge of murderous intent emanating from his body.

That killing intent seemed tangible, causing the surrounding space to subtly distort.

It was then that his expression suddenly shifted.

The surrounding spatial power abruptly fluctuated and distorted, completely concealing his figure.

He employed the Space Dao, hiding himself within the crevices of space so that nothing could be seen from the outside.

Then, in the next moment, he saw several figures in black and white Daoist robes flying in from afar.

Their robes were half black as ink, half white as snow—the signature of the Black and White Temple disciples.

Each figure possessed considerable cultivation; the weakest had the aura of Primordial Spirit Second Tribulation, while the leading figure emitted a Primordial Spirit Five Tribulations aura.

The figures arrived, flying straight towards the bone mountain.

They seemed well-acquainted with the area, circling the outskirts of the bone mountain several times before finding a hidden hollow and slipping inside, flying into the mountain’s interior.

Lu Qing, hidden and silent, followed them quietly.

He subdued all his aura, then enveloped himself in spatial power, such that even if a Unity Realm stage cultivator stood before him, they might not detect him, let alone these few Primordial Spirit Realm disciples.

Once inside the bone mountain, a blood-red scene came into view.

The interior of the mountain was hollow.

It was a vast space, several hundred feet in diameter.

The space’s walls were densely packed with bones, some still bearing flesh, some already decayed and weathered.

Those bones interlocked and overlapped, forming a hive-like structure.

At the center of this space lay a giant blood pool.

The blood pool was a hundred feet wide, with a depth unknown. The liquid inside, red to the point of being black, thick like magma, was slowly roiling, bubbling.

Each bubble burst released dark red mist, reeking with a nauseating stench.

The concentration of malice within the blood pool was far stronger than Lu Qing had sensed outside, by thousands of times.

The malice condensed into form, manifesting as twisted faces that spiraled above the pool, wailing and shrieking, then dissipating, in an endless cycle.

Lu Qing’s gaze fell upon the figures beside the blood pool.

He watched as the figures approached the blood pool, inhaling deeply, savoring the near-tangible malice, expressions of pleasure on their faces.

"This Heavenly Demon Pool isn’t even fully forged, yet the malice it condenses is so pure."

A younger disciple marveled, eyes full of greed.

"I wonder what it will be like when it’s truly complete. By then, cultivating here for just a day could equal years of our hard training."

Another disciple chimed in, "Indeed, the cultivation technique bestowed by the temple master is truly marvelous.

Cultivating with malice is faster than absorbing spiritual energy countless times over.

Unfortunately, gathering this malice isn’t easy; it requires so much resentful energy from living creatures, and capturing them in itself requires quite an effort."

"Enough with the nonsense!" one figure, seemingly the leader, rebuked coldly, "If you want the Heavenly Demon Pool completed soon, follow the temple master’s words and capture more living creatures! If you keep dawdling here, when will you meet the deadline?"

The young disciple shrank back, not daring to speak further.

The leader snorted disdainfully, retrieving a cloth bag from his chest.

The bag wasn’t large, only palm-sized, entirely black, adorned with densely embroidered runes.

He tossed the bag high, giving a shake.

Abruptly, numerous figures materialized above the Crimson Pool.

Countless human cultivators, akin to glutinous dumplings, were unceremoniously ejected from a sack, plummeting into the malodorous depths below.

They encompassed all genders and ages, their cultivation levels spanning a wide spectrum.

The most junior possessed only the Foundation Establishment cultivation, while the mightiest emanated the formidable aura of the Primordial Spirit Realm.

Yet, at this critical juncture, their cultivation abilities were demonstrably suppressed.

Incapacitated and stripped of flight, they thrashed about helplessly in the air, their cries desperate pleas for salvation.

"Help me!"

"No! I refuse to perish!"

"Have mercy upon us!"

"My offspring... my little one still awaits me at home..."

A cacophony of screams, wails, and laments reverberated through the mountainous expanse of bones.

Those sounds were saturated with sheer terror, utter despair, and fervent entreaties.
