I Can See Through All Things' Information Chapter 1227 - 753: Spatial Inheritance, Even the Immortal Palace Has Run Out of Supplies (Part 2)

Lu Qing’s subsequent words, however, once again left the group in a state of shock.
"But, Elder, the elixirs you previously provided have been nearly exhausted by this junior. Are there any more available? I am willing to trade treasures for them."
"What was that? You have already refined all the elixirs we gave you?"
The three Elders were visibly stunned by this revelation.
Their initial thought was that such a feat was simply impossible.
It was common knowledge that the batch of elixirs they had handed over contained so much power that even a peerless genius at the Nine Tribulations Primordial Spirit level would struggle to fully absorb them in such a brief window of time.
Setting aside the sheer volume of energy, the sheer amount of accumulated pill poison alone would be more than a typical Primordial Spirit realm cultivator could survive.
Since Lu Qing was only at the Fourth Tribulation Primordial Spirit stage, it seemed even more far-fetched that he could remain unharmed, let alone achieve a breakthrough.
"They aren't entirely gone, but there is very little left," Lu Qing admitted, feeling a bit sheepish.
His path of cultivation demanded an incredibly massive quantity of resources.
Because the elixirs from Old Cyan Dragon had been exceptionally effective, he hoped to acquire more through trade. He still possessed numerous Spiritual Artifacts plundered from the Heavenly Origin Great World that he rarely utilized, so swapping them for cultivation resources felt like a wise investment.
The three Elders remained quiet, staring intensely at Lu Qing as if trying to find a flaw in his story. Seeing the sincerity in his expression, they eventually realized he was being completely honest.
After a long pause, Old Cyan Dragon finally asked, "How did you manage to endure the massive amount of pill poison contained within those elixirs?"
Furthermore, it was baffling that after consuming so many resources, Lu Qing had only advanced from the Fourth Tribulation Primordial Spirit to the Fifth Tribulation.
"As I mentioned before, my cultivation method is unique and my physique is quite special. To me, pill poison is not a toxin; rather, it acts as a significant supplement."
Lu Qing was telling the truth. Having tempered himself with the Undying Heavenly Witch Body, his physical form now shared characteristics with powerful tribulation beasts. He could consume various exotic energies and transmute them into his own power. While pill poison was dangerous to others, for him, it was merely another energy source that enhanced his strength.
This explanation left Old Cyan Dragon and his companions speechless once more.
A physique that treated pill poison as nourishment was something they had perhaps heard of regarding legendary mutant beasts, but never in a human cultivator.
Looking at Lu Qing—who appeared to only have the strength of a Fifth Tribulation Primordial Spirit—the three powerful mutant beasts realized they could no longer truly see through the young man.
Meanwhile, the Black Bull thought back to when Lu Qing had offered his essence blood to be tested by the Calming Mirror. He had sensed then that Lu Qing’s Qi-blood was extraordinary. Could Lu Qing be hiding a hidden, ancient physique?
The Black Bull kept this suspicion to himself. Every cultivator has their own secrets; since Lu Qing hadn't volunteered the information, prying might only lead to resentment. Having finally discovered such a brilliant genius for his master, the Black Bull did not want to cause any friction.
"I didn't realize you possessed such a rare and unusual physique, Ah Qing; it is truly remarkable," Old Cyan Dragon sighed, choosing not to push for more details.
"However, providing more elixirs may not be possible."
"When our master departed in haste, he left very few arrangements behind and took the majority of the Immortal Palace’s resources with him. The elixirs I gave you earlier represented nearly the entire remaining reserve. While there are still some elixirs for the Unity Realm stage, those suitable for the Primordial Spirit realm are scarce."
Old Cyan Dragon looked slightly embarrassed as he explained: "In truth, Primordial Spirit realm elixirs were never used much in the Immortal Palace. They were mostly given to Outer Disciples or servants, as the master’s Direct Disciples utilized Unity Realm resources."
Lu Qing was momentarily stunned.
He understood the implication: the Immortal Palace did have resources, but they were mostly for those at the Unity Realm or higher. For someone at his current level, there was very little. Essentially, his realm was too low to make use of the high-level treasures available.
Seeing Lu Qing’s reaction, Old Cyan Dragon felt awkward. They had just been discussing how to nurture Lu Qing’s growth, yet they were already hitting a wall with basic Primordial Spirit realm supplies.
Then again, who could have guessed that Lu Qing’s cultivation would require such an absurd amount of medicine? Under normal circumstances, the elixirs provided should have been enough to take a genius from the Initial Primordial Spirit stage all the way to the Late-stage. Instead, they had only pushed Lu Qing up by a single Tribulation. Had he truly absorbed all that medicinal power, or had most of it been wasted? If it was the latter, it would suggest Lu Qing’s talent wasn't as great as they had hoped.
"I understand. It seems I was being a bit too ambitious," Lu Qing said with a smile, snapping out of his thoughts.
He was disappointed, but not discouraged. He was used to lacking resources. Even without elixirs, the dense spiritual energy within the Spirit Void Peak Cave Mansion would ensure his progress remained steady. He simply wouldn't experience the explosive growth he had just enjoyed.
Shifting the topic, Lu Qing asked, "By the way, Elder, has anything happened within the secret realm during my two or three years of seclusion?"
"Nothing of great importance. Just the usual cultivators attempting the trials," Old Cyan Dragon replied dismissively.
"Ah Qing, do you have any history with those cultivators outside?" the Black Bull inquired.
"I wouldn't call it 'history,' just some friction with a few of them when I first arrived," Lu Qing laughed.
The Elders understood immediately. Lu Qing’s words suggested he had some grudges with the people outside. Knowing the greedy nature of those cultivators, a lone man like Lu Qing entering the secret realm would naturally attract trouble. They could imagine that something must have happened before they had fully awakened.
"As for the trial-takers, the fastest among them are still languishing at the sixth stage. They are far behind you, Ah Qing," Old Cyan Dragon noted.
"The fastest are only at the sixth stage?"
Lu Qing found this surprising. He had been hidden away for several years, yet they had made so little progress. He knew that several famous True Disciples from major sects, currently at the Eight Tribulations Primordial Spirit level, were among those outside.
"Elder, may I ask about a Sword Cultivator named Yu Jian and another called Mo Tushan? What stages have they reached?"
"Both are currently at the sixth stage."
Old Cyan Dragon realized that these two were likely the ones involved in the "friction" Lu Qing had mentioned. He added thoughtfully, "Actually, that Sword Cultivator Yu Jian was ambushed by Mo Tushan at the fifth stage and was badly hurt. Although he recovered, his progress was severely delayed, causing him to fall behind."
"Yu Jian was ambushed by Mo Tushan? Were they in the same array channel where they could fight?" Lu Qing asked, surprised.
On the path he had taken, combat was prohibited once inside the channel, and even communication was blocked.
"Each channel has different rules. Some allow communication, and certain junction points allow cultivators to cross between paths. Didn't you notice the transmission arrays beneath the fifth, seventh, and ninth checkpoints during your run?"
Lu Qing suddenly remembered seeing such arrays. At the time, he had been so focused on downloading and mastering the array legacies that he hadn't given them a second thought. Now, he realized what those arrays were for.
His eyes began to brighten with a new thought.
