Achilles learns of a formidable threat, THE Osmontian, and the inadequacy of current efforts against it. Vireth offers him an ancient artifact, a Bronze Relic Fragment of Persevere, linked to THE Primordial Source. This relic grants him the power of THE Primordial Tongue three times, intended to aid in confronting THE Osmontian. Despite his outward acceptance and bravado, Achilles secretly plots an escape from the dangerous alliance.

Achilles observed Vireth ascend from her platform of Observable Force, a smile returning to her lips as the animosity retreated beneath the surface, seemingly kept contained and functional, rather than wastefully displayed.

"Alright, we must prepare and journey to THE Osmontian's current location. This necessitates a passage from this Observable Existence into another entirely."

Her crimson hair flowed as she moved with the practiced grace of one shifting from dialogue to action.

"To accomplish this, I will need to seal off your existence while I traverse wormholes of Undefinition to arrive at our destination. At the velocity I will be traveling through these voids, your exposed existence would be torn asunder by Undefinition before we cover even a fraction of the required distance. You would require a far more stable footing on THE Silurian Paleozoic Scale to endure, as you are... not quite there yet."

She met his gaze, her crimson-gold eyes reflecting the no-nonsense directness of someone unaccustomed to softening operational realities.

"Are you ready?"

This woman operated at a remarkable speed.

Achilles could only manage a nod. The alternative—raising objections—would expose that he hadn't fully committed despite outward appearances, a revelation that served no current strategic purpose.

He watched her gesture with her hands.

Obsidian plates materialized from her being, possessing the distinct quality of having been prepared beforehand rather than hastily assembled. They emerged with the ordered efficiency of pre-existing materials, not improvised constructions. Moving with deliberate velocity towards him, they began to encase him from the ground up. Each plate settled into place against its neighbors with an exactitude that left no discernible gaps.

He felt a palpable authority radiate from the plates as they closed around him, a weighty power that defied easy categorization within any framework his transformed existence had developed from his accumulated assimilations. It exuded something distinct from Observable Force, though possessing a similar foundational nature; it existed in relation to his understanding much like shadow relates to light.

Unobservable Force.

The final plate locked into position overhead.

Everything ceased.

Not a gradual fade, nor a dimming sensation as distance increased between his consciousness and the outside world, but an instantaneous and total severance, akin to a door slamming shut, dividing interior from exterior in a single, swift movement. He could not perceive the isolated space beyond the encasement. He could not feel the Silver Philotimo Observable Existence beyond that. The connections to his other bodies within his own Observable Existence, which normally persisted across any previous distance, were also severed.

Even time seemed suspended within this realm, the subjective experience of duration becoming so ambiguous that he couldn't ascertain if moments or eons were transpiring beyond the obsidian confines.

Encasement Active: Unobservable Force Containment Plates.

Classification: Construct of Vireth.

Internal space isolated from all external perception, temporal flow, and Civilizational resonance.

Unobservable Force cannot be quantified by current assessment frameworks.

Warning: Duration of encasement indeterminate from internal perspective.

...!

He possessed no awareness or sensation of anything outside the confines defined by the plates.

This implied Vireth also had limited means to perceive what transpired within, at least, that was a possibility, and that observation carried significant implications.

He retrieved the Bronze Relic Fragment of Persevere.

The obsidian-gold artifact rotated slowly in his grasp as he scrutinized it from every conceivable angle accessible to his transformed perception. Each turn revealed new facets of its essence, eliciting the same visceral tremor of excitement his being had displayed upon its initial revelation. The craving intensified in this proximity, unchecked by external observation; his Civilization pressed against the threshold of examination and consumption with an undiminished urgency.

He saw no compelling reason to postpone his own gratification.

However, encased within Vireth's formidable containment, she might possess means beyond his current comprehension to sense any internal activity. Any external shift resulting from his Assimilation would announce itself long before he could manage the repercussions of her awareness.

Should any external event occur, he would direct its entirety into his Inner Dominion.

With the swiftness that defined decisions made under true time constraints, he made up his mind and appeared to put the item away. However, it actually materialized within his Realm of Assimilation, conveyed through the internal pathways of his Inner Dominion instead of any external spatial displacement.

Silently, he spoke the word to himself, producing no audible sound that the surrounding plates could detect.

Assimilate.

BOOM!

His entire being quaked with a resistance unlike anything he had ever faced, surpassing even the assimilation of Mansa Nguna whose Gilded foundations had opposed his efforts with a might he had found truly challenging. The Bronze Relic Fragment of Persevere pushed back against his Civilization, its resistance conveyed not through conventional power but through a profound connection to something so fundamental that his Assimilation had to contend with the very nature of the object's ties, rather than just the object itself.

Finally, through an exertion that stretched his internal core to its absolute limits, the object began to dissolve into him.

BOOM!

Externally, he maintained control of his body with every ounce of his discipline, preserving the inert posture of waiting that Vireth would expect to observe if she were to investigate. Internally, however, he was on the verge of collapse, his foundations undergoing a radical restructuring as they accommodated something unprecedented in the architecture of his previous assimilations. His existence had to invent new methods for integration rather than simply adapt existing ones.

Your existence has been merged with a minuscule fragment of THE Primordial Source.

Your being has been touched by the Source as if it had always been intertwined, this connection retroactively woven into your very foundations in ways that defy sequential time.

Due to the minimal assimilation of the Source and the inherent nature of the absorbed item, you have gained access to THE Primordial Tongue.

Capability Gained: You can now utter the most fundamental letter of THE Primordial Tongue available at this integration level, 'Persevere,' as many times as your Source can withstand.

Warning: Each use directly depletes your integration with THE Primordial Source. Proceed with full awareness of the cost each instance incurs.
