I Am The Game's Villain Chapter 5 You're Not My Sister

Previously on I Am The Game's Villain...
The protagonist, Nyr, finds himself reincarnated as Edward Falkrona, a major antagonist from the violent romance game Princess And Dragon. Edward is a widely reviled and dangerous character, known for his cruelty and past assaults. Nyr, now Edward, struggles with his new obese body and a low charm stat, and communicates with an AI sent by the one who transferred him, indicating that his purpose in this new world is to be "helped." Outside his room, a voice demands he come out.

"Show yourself!"

"Who is it?"

I questioned my newfound partner.

[I am unsure, Edward.]

"Seriously? Don't you possess some kind of X-ray vision to peer through walls?"

[I have only just been manifested, so acquiring such upgrades will take time.]

"Your incompetent creator clearly has nothing better to do, so tell him to speed up his progress."

[I cannot contact him.]

"So you really are useless, then."

[At least I am not overweight.]

"B*tch!"

-Knock! -Knock!

"Hey!"

That grating voice echoed once more. I recognized exactly who it was, which only fueled my desire to keep that cursed door shut.

"Damn that family to hell."

I dragged myself up, feeling as though it required half of my total energy just to stand on my feet.

I pulled the door open, and as expected, she was standing there.

Elona Falkrona, my sister.

She inherited my mother’s black hair and my father’s grey eyes.

"Scan her."

"Excuse me?"

Elona blurted out, looking bewildered, but I paid her no mind. I wasn't addressing her anyway.

[Understood.]

"Well?"

[In all likelihood, she has reached the Third Ascension just like you, yet her strength likely surpasses yours by several degrees. Furthermore, she has already manifested the third wing of the Falkrona Bloodline.]

"You aren't certain?"

[I cannot determine an individual's power with absolute precision, but I can provide an estimate. There is a high probability she is at the Third Ascension level, matching your rank.]

'Third wing...'

I ground my teeth in frustration.

While I was fortunate enough to possess the renowned Falkrona Bloodline, I hadn't even managed to awaken my first wing. Meanwhile, my sister—who was several months younger—had already achieved her third. Shouldn't the older brother be more powerful than the younger sister? Regardless, she wasn't truly my sister, and that bastard creator was likely howling with laughter at my expense.

"What do you want?"

I inquired with a cold tone.

Elona seemed startled by my unusually icy demeanor. Although Edward usually behaved like a jerk toward his sister, he was never truly cold. In truth, he lacked the backbone for it; he was merely a coward who resented Elona for her natural gifts. Usually, he would do nothing more than shove her aside with a mocking grin.

"Here!"

Elona composed herself quickly and dragged a maid forward by the arm. The girl looked to be in her late teens. She was quite pretty, but her face was currently stained with tears. She kept her gaze averted, clearly terrified of me.

"What is this?"

I asked, genuinely confused about her intentions. I had never even laid eyes on this maid before.

Wait, don't tell me...

" 'What?' You have the nerve to ask what?! You laid your filthy hands on her this morning while she was cleaning your disgusting room!"

Elona screamed in rage, her face twisted with pure loathing.

It figured. It was exactly that kind of situation, except I wasn't the perpetrator.

"Oh, alright."

I slammed the door shut right in the face of a stunned Elona.

"Hey!"

-Knock! -Knock!

Ignoring her completely, I made my way back toward the bed.

"This is exactly why Aurora called off the engagement!"

"..."

As if I gave a damn about that engagement.

"You’re nothing but a beast, preyng on innocent girls for your own sick pleasure!"

It wasn't me.

I simply shrugged my shoulders.

"I hate you! Father hates you! Simon hates you! Even Mother would have hated you if she were here!"

"..."

I whipped around and yanked the door open. My amber eyes were colder than they had ever been.

Memories of my parents from my previous life flashed through my mind, alongside the mother of this world. It was bizarre, but hearing her claim that my mother, Oryanna Falkrona, would hate me sparked a genuine flame of anger.

Elona stared back at me, tears of fury streaming down her cheeks.

"Why are you like this...? My broth—"

"I am not your brother."

I cut her off sharply. She was truly testing my patience.

Ever since Ephera’s passing, I had been subjected to insults from everyone while doing absolutely nothing to deserve it.

"And you certainly aren't my sister."

"!"

Elona stood frozen at my declaration.

"So get lost."

I waved her away dismissively.

"..."

The maid, having witnessed the exchange, scrambled away. If she had been frightened by my status before, she was now terrified by my current mood.

"F-Fine, so be it."

Elona brushed away her tears and shot me one last glare.

"I’d sooner die than have a brother like you!"

"Then go ahead and die for all I care."

I snapped back without a second thought. I’m certain a twisted smirk was plastered on my face as I said it.

"!"

Elona’s eyes widened in shock. She looked at me as if I were a complete stranger. Edward had never spoken to her that way before. But then again, I wasn't Edward.

I let out a snort and closed the door.

"Finally, some quiet."

I let out a satisfied sigh.

[As expected of a Major Antagonist.]

"Be quiet."

[You should have seen your expression when you said that. You looked exactly like Edward Falkrona from the Second Game when he wiped an entire city and its people off the map.]

"What, did you actually play the games?"

I asked with a dry chuckle.

[...]

Are you giving me the silent treatment? I’m the one who should be pissed!

"What?! Was I supposed to let that random girl keep insulting me?! She knows nothing of my real family! They loved me! My mother, my father, my sister! If it wasn't for that damn drunken b*tch, I would have been happy!"

[...]

Fine, stay silent then!

I can't even argue properly while trapped in this body and feeling this exhausted!

Several individuals were gathered inside a spacious, square-shaped room. The most prominent figures were seated around a table, eating dinner. The opulent decor made it clear they were people of immense wealth; they were, in fact, the Celesta Royal Family.

A few maids moved about, serving their masters with practiced grace. Guards stood watch as well, though they kept a respectful distance.

For several minutes, the only sound in the royal dining hall was the clinking of silverware.

"You are dismissed."

The only man at the table spoke. He possessed golden hair and sapphire-blue eyes. His features were so handsome that one would hardly guess he was a father. A shimmering golden crown adorned with jewels sat upon his head. Dressed in his royal tunic, his identity was unmistakable to anyone in the Celesta Kingdom. He was the King.

The guards and maids bowed low and exited the room, leaving only the family behind.

Six chairs surrounded the table. Two remained vacant. The royal couple occupied two, while the final seat was held by a golden-haired beauty: Aurora Celesta.

"Aurora, I have been informed of your actions."

At her father's remark, the fork in Aurora’s hand stopped mid-air. She set the utensil down and turned toward her father with a look of regret.

"Father, I—"

"I am aware, my dear. I granted you the choice, though I did not anticipate you reaching a conclusion so quickly."

"I... I am truly sorry."

Aurora bowed her head, feeling the weight of her shame. The match between her and Edward Falkrona was purely a political arrangement. Its goal was to cement the alliance between the two houses. Furthermore, King Charles Celesta coveted the military strength of the Falkronas. Indeed, of all the Dukedoms, the Falkrona Dukedom commanded the most formidable army.

"What exactly happened, Aurora?"

The golden-haired Queen, Edith, dabbed her mouth with a napkin before questioning her daughter. She didn't seem to oppose the decision, but she was curious nonetheless.

"Well..."

Aurora struggled to find the words as her face contorted with loathing.

"A week ago, I suggested we spend time together to strengthen our connection. We went out, but Edward showed me no respect whatsoever. He spent the entire time flirting with and bothering women in every shop and location we visited..."

Aurora had felt humiliated just being near Edward that day. She was his official fiancée and the Princess of the Realm, yet Edward conducted himself like the lowest dregs of Celesta society. She could still vividly recall the pitying gazes from the onlookers. Despite her kind nature, she still possessed the inherent pride of a Royal Princess.

"Sigh..."

Charles let out a heavy breath before offering his daughter a soft smile.

"I have already spoken with Thomen. You don't need to worry about it further."

"Thank you, Father."

Aurora felt a wave of relief knowing that Edward’s father, Thomen, hadn't contested the break. However, she was certain of one thing: he must be absolutely livid with his son right now...
