His innocent wife is a dangerous hacker. Chapter 947: Extra-1
Previously on His innocent wife is a dangerous hacker....
"LEO! WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THIS?! DO YOU WANT TO BLIND OUR DAUGHTER WITH PINK?!"
Bella’s furious voice echoed through the room.
Leo fell silent with a single look, standing beside the crib with an utterly unbothered expression.
His wife, on the other hand, looked ready to throw him straight out of the nearest window.
And honestly, Leo couldn’t even blame her.
Because the room he had prepared for their daughter was...
PINK.
Pink walls...Pink curtains... Pink blankets...Pink pillows... Pink decorations.
Even the little stuffed animals arranged around the room seemed to have been selected according to a strict pink-only policy.
And that wasn’t even the worst part.
Bella had recently discovered that the diaper packets had been specially customized in pink too.
PINK!
Why on earth did diapers need to be pink?!
Did their daughter care about the color of her diapers?!
She was barely a month old!
She couldn’t even sit up properly!
And yet, somehow, her father had already decided that she needed an entire pink kingdom.
Bella wanted to grab her husband by the collar and shake some sense into him.
Meanwhile, Leo looked around the room with an expression of complete satisfaction.
"Isn’t it beautiful, Bunny?" he asked, his lips curling into a smirk. "Look at my princess. Doesn’t she deserve the prettiest room in the world?"
Bella slowly turned her head toward him.
She stared at him.
Then she stared at the pink walls.
Then she looked at him again.
"...Leo."
"Hmm?"
"Are you trying to blind our daughter?"
Leo chuckled. "You’re exaggerating."
"EXAGGERATING?!"
Bella pointed at the curtains.
"THE CURTAINS ARE PINK!"
Then she pointed at the blankets.
"THE BLANKETS ARE PINK!"
Finally, she pointed toward the customized diaper packets.
"EVEN HER DIAPERS ARE PINK!"
Leo looked at the packets, then back at his wife.
"Well, Bunny, she’s a princess."
Bella closed her eyes.
God, please give me patience.
"She’s a baby, Leo! A BABY!"
"Exactly. My baby."
He said it with such shameless pride that Bella nearly lost her mind.
"And before you start complaining again," Leo continued, folding his arms, "Mama J, Jay, Jace and Dad all agreed with me."
Bella’s eyes widened.
She looked at her husband in disbelief.
"...Tell me you didn’t blackmail them."
Leo immediately shook his head. "No."
Bella narrowed her eyes.
"Leo."
"Bunny."
"Tell me the truth."
"I’m telling you the truth!"
She stared at him suspiciously for another few seconds before finally looking away.
Unbelievable. Absolutely unbelievable.
Leo, meanwhile, looked entirely too pleased with himself.
He had successfully prepared a pink paradise for his little princess and no amount of complaining from his wife was going to change the fact that he considered it a masterpiece.
Bella decided she wasn’t going to waste any more energy arguing with him.
Instead, she picked up their daughter and wrapped her in a soft pink blanket.
Then she turned toward their son, who was lying peacefully nearby, and wrapped him in a light purple blanket.
"There," she murmured, adjusting the fabric around his tiny body. "At least someone in this family has a little variety."
Leo raised an eyebrow.
"What’s wrong with pink?"
Bella ignored him.
Their twins were now one month old and today was a very special day.
After weeks of discussing names, debating possibilities and occasionally disagreeing over the smallest details, they had finally decided that it was time to give their babies their names.
Their daughter had already acquired a nickname that everyone in the family used without hesitation.
Princess.
And their son?
Well...
He had somehow ended up being called Carrot.
It had all started when Jason gifted the newborn twins two toys: a little carrot and a banana.
For reasons no one could explain, the boy immediately developed an attachment to the carrot. Princess didn’t like either of those two toys, so both toys belonged to her brother.
He didn’t seem particularly interested in the banana but he still wanted it nearby whenever he went to sleep.
And the carrot?
That little orange toy had become his most treasured possession.
Bella had tried offering him other toys, including some beautiful stuffed animals but her son remained unimpressed.
He wanted his carrot.
Only his carrot.
If someone tried replacing it with another toy, he would become upset and the family would have to return his beloved orange companion to him.
Eventually, everyone had started calling him Carrot.
Even Leo.
Although Leo insisted that the nickname was temporary, he had already used it so many times that Bella wasn’t entirely convinced.
And that was only the beginning of their son’s peculiar little habits.
Over the past month, Bella had discovered that her twins couldn’t have been more different from each other.
Their daughter, Princess, was a little troublemaker.
She could sleep almost anywhere. In her crib, in her father’s arms, beside Bella, or even in the middle of a room full of people talking.
As long as she was comfortable, she seemed perfectly happy.
However, there was one very important condition.
Her father had to be nearby.
If Leo disappeared from her sight for more than five minutes, she would begin making her displeasure known.
Sometimes it started with a little whimper.
Sometimes she went straight to crying.
And sometimes she simply made enough noise to ensure that everyone in the house knew that her beloved papa had abandoned her.
Of course, Leo never admitted that his daughter had him wrapped around her tiny fingers.
He preferred to claim that she simply had excellent taste.
Bella had stopped arguing with him about that.
Their son, Carrot, was a completely different story.
He was the quietest baby Bella had ever encountered. He rarely made a fuss, and most of the time, he was content to lie peacefully in his little bed, observing everything around him with his beautiful brown eyes.
But peaceful didn’t necessarily mean easy.
Because their little boy was surprisingly particular about his preferences.
For example, his milk schedule.
Bella had gradually noticed that he seemed to expect his milk at almost exactly the same times every day.
Nine in the morning. Three in the afternoon and nine at night.
