His innocent wife is a dangerous hacker. Chapter 899 My Parents
Previously on His innocent wife is a dangerous hacker....
Jack had been waiting.
The moment he saw Eli, his eyes immediately followed the little boy. He watched the way the child walked, the way he held his small backpack, the way he seemed so comfortable and carefree.
Then his gaze shifted toward the luxurious car they had arrived in.
His expression changed.
It was far more expensive than anything he had ever owned and the sight of the luxurious vehicle instantly confirmed everything he had heard. His eyes moved toward Bella next and for a moment he simply stared. She looked elegant even in a simple outfit, carrying herself with an effortless grace that made it obvious she belonged to a completely different world from his.
So rich!!! So rich!!!
Jack’s eyes flashed with greed.
"So that’s them..." he muttered under his breath.
His gaze returned to Eli.
The little boy looked completely different from the child Jack remembered. He was dressed neatly in his expensive kindergarten uniform, carrying a small backpack, while Bella carefully fixed his collar and spoke to him with obvious affection. His hair was neatly combed, his shoes were clean and there was a healthy glow to his cheeks that hadn’t been there before.
Jack’s mouth tightened.
He hadn’t expected this.
He had imagined finding a lonely, struggling child somewhere, perhaps living in an ordinary home where demanding money would be difficult. Instead, Eli had somehow ended up surrounded by wealth, security and people who clearly adored him. The little boy he had once abandoned was now being treated like a prince.
Jack’s eyes moved toward the bodyguards standing discreetly nearby.
His confidence faltered for a moment.
Then he looked at the expensive car again.
Greed slowly overcame his fear.
"If that’s the life he’s living now..." he murmured, a calculating look appearing in his eyes, "then maybe there’s something in it for me too."
He remained where he was, careful not to approach yet.
He simply watched.
Bella, completely unaware that someone from Eli’s past had begun observing them, crouched beside the little boy and straightened his collar one last time.
"Have a good day, Eli."
Eli smiled brightly.
"Bye, Beautiful!"
Bella laughed softly and watched him walk toward the kindergarten entrance.

After dropping Eli at kindergarten, Bella went to her office as well, completely unaware that her little boy was already having a wonderful time in class. By now, Eli was quite comfortable at kindergarten, so he no longer hesitated around the other children or needed Bella or Leo with him. He had made a few friends, learned the daily routines and even started looking forward to going each morning.
That morning, the teacher had given the children colorful crayons and large sheets of paper, asking them to draw whatever they wanted. The classroom quickly filled with tiny voices and colorful scribbles as the children proudly showed one another their drawings. For a while, everything was perfectly normal.
Then one little boy suddenly grabbed a handful of crayons and ran across the classroom.
"Hey! Come back!" the teacher called, immediately getting up from her chair.
The boy giggled and ran even faster, his small feet pattering against the floor.
Another child thought this looked extremely fun and joined him.
Then another.
Within seconds, several children were running around the classroom with crayons in their hands while the teacher hurried after them, trying to convince them that the classroom was not a race track. Her voice rose and fell with a mixture of exasperation and amusement as she chased the little troublemakers.
Eli had been sitting at his table, quietly coloring.
He watched the kids run around.
His little hand slowly stopped moving.
His eyes followed the running children.
Then he looked at the teacher.
Then back at the children.
He hesitated. Should he join? No, he was a good boy. He had been told to sit and color and he always tried to be good. However, it did look fun. Really fun. And the other kids were laughing so much.
He dropped his crayon and joined them.
"Eli!"
He laughed and ran across the classroom, picking up a few crayons along the way. His small legs moved as fast as they could, carrying him around tables and chairs with surprising speed.
"Come back here!" the teacher called.
Eli looked over his shoulder and laughed even harder. His cheeks were flushed with excitement, his dark eyes sparkling with joy.
The other children cheered when he joined them, and suddenly the teacher had one more energetic little boy to chase.
"Eli, we don’t run inside!"
"But they are running!" Eli protested, pointing at the other children.
"They shouldn’t be running either!" the teacher said, her voice caught between sternness and laughter.
Eli considered this for approximately one second.
"But it looks fun!"
The teacher had no answer for that. She simply sighed and continued her pursuit.
She hurried after him as Eli raced around the tables, his little shoes tapping against the floor while he laughed with complete happiness. One child hid behind a chair, another crawled under the table and Eli ran past them clutching his crayons like precious treasures.
Finally, the teacher managed to catch him.
She gently grabbed him around the waist and lifted him up.
"Got you!"
Eli burst into giggles, kicking his little feet in the air.
"Again!"
The teacher stared at him, her eyebrows rising.
"No. Absolutely not."
Eli grinned, his small face full of mischief.
"But teacher..."
"No."
"But—"
"No."
Eli sighed dramatically and rested his head against her shoulder.
"Okay."

After lunch, the children returned to their classroom, their little stomachs full and their energy slowly settling down. Their teacher handed each of them a sheet of paper and explained that today’s activity was going to be about their families.
"Write about your parents," she said warmly. "You can tell us their names, what they like, what they do or anything you love about them. There is no right or wrong answer."
Eli looked at the blank paper in front of him.
At the top, the teacher had written: My
He held his pencil but didn’t write.
His little lips pressed together as he thought.
