His innocent wife is a dangerous hacker. Chapter 870 Her Idea
Previously on His innocent wife is a dangerous hacker....
Bella remained silent for a few moments. Her fingers absentmindedly traced the rim of her coffee mug, her eyes distant, thoughtful.
"...Leo."
"Hm?"
"I’ve been thinking about something."
Leo immediately gave her his full attention. He set down his coffee and turned toward her. "What is it?"
Bella looked down at the screen before quietly closing her laptop. Her hands rested on top of it, her fingers interlaced.
"I have... some plans." Her voice carried both excitement and uncertainty.
Leo noticed it immediately. "What kind of plans?"
Bella took a small breath, her eyes softening as she looked out of the window.
"I’ve been observing students at my college." Her voice was quiet, thoughtful. "So many of them struggle every day. They pay expensive tuition fees. Some work part-time like waiting tables, delivering packages, just to survive, working night shifts, but those jobs barely pay enough. After paying rent, transportation, books, and food, they’re left with almost nothing. They’re exhausted. They don’t even have time to focus on studying."
Her expression gradually became more serious. Her brow furrowed, and her fingers tightened around the coffee mug.
"I keep wondering... why do talented students have to choose between education and survival? Why does the world make it so hard for people who are just trying to build a future?"
She paused, her voice dropping to a whisper.
"So... I want to build something. A service-based platform. Only for students."
Leo raised an eyebrow with interest. "What kind of platform?"
Bella’s eyes slowly began to shine. The uncertainty in her voice faded, replaced by spark of determination.
"I want companies, startups, and even ordinary people to post small jobs there. Things students can do remotely. Graphic design... Video editing... Writing... Translation... Coding... Data entry... Social media management... Virtual assistance... Presentation design... Tutoring... Research... Even AI-related work."
She spoke faster as her ideas flowed, her hands beginning to gesture with excitement.
"And students from different fields can register. Engineering students, medical students, commerce, arts, law, design, science... Everyone."
Leo nodded thoughtfully, his eyes never leaving her face.
Bella continued, her voice gaining momentum. "I also want offline opportunities. Weekend event staff. Photography assistants. Library assistants. Lab helpers. Teaching children. Helping elderly people with technology. Freelance internships. Local businesses needing temporary workers."
She looked at Leo, her eyes bright. "Everything will be flexible. So students can work around their classes instead of sacrificing their education. They won’t have to choose between paying rent and attending lectures."
Leo remained silent, encouraging her to continue with a small nod.
Bella smiled faintly, her fingers now tracing the edge of her laptop. "And I don’t want it to stop there. I want the platform to help students grow. If someone doesn’t know a skill, we’ll teach them. Free beginner courses. Resume building. Interview practice. Portfolio guidance. Communication workshops. AI tools. Financial literacy. So even students from small towns, who have never had opportunities before, can compete with confidence."
Her eyes became brighter with every sentence.
"I also want a mentorship section. Where experienced professionals volunteer a few hours every month. They can guide students. Review their work. Help them prepare for careers."
She hesitated for a moment, her voice softening. "And... I want an emergency support fund."
Leo looked at her, his expression calm but attentive.
"If a student suddenly can’t pay exam fees, needs medicine, can’t afford books, or is about to drop out because of money, the platform can quietly help them. No publicity. They’ll simply receive support. So no one has to abandon their dreams because they were born into the wrong circumstances."
The room fell silent.
Leo simply looked at her.
Bella nervously tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, suddenly self-conscious.
"...Maybe it’s too unrealistic. It sounds huge. I don’t even know where to begin."
"No." He said calmly. "It sounds exactly like something you would think."
Bella blinked.
"You’ve always looked at people others overlook. Because your perspective and mindset are seen from a kind angle." He paused, his thumb brushing over her knuckles. "You don’t just see problems. You immediately start thinking about solutions. That’s who you are, Bella. That’s always been who you are."
He gently squeezed her hand. "And you aren’t trying to build a business. You’re trying to build opportunities for students. That’s the whole difference."
Bella looked at him quietly, her eyes glistening.
Leo leaned back against the sofa. "If this is what you truly want, I’ll support you."
Bella’s eyes slowly became watery. "...Really?"
Leo nodded without hesitation. "Really."
Then, after a brief pause, he added in his usual calm voice, "But... first..." He gently tapped her closed laptop. "Finish your coffee before it gets cold."
Bella stared at him for a second before bursting into laughter. "...Yes, Mr. Moretti."
Only then did she realize that perhaps her dream wasn’t as impossible as she had feared. Not anymore. Because someone believed in it just as much as she did.
"I am ready to invest most of my income into this project," she said softly, her voice trembling with emotion. "I mean, after a lot of working, there’s so much money, and I can’t use this much money... so I can help students."
Her eyes teared up, and she looked down at her hands. "I don’t need all of it. But if it can help someone else—someone who’s struggling the way I used to struggle—then it’s worth more than anything I could ever buy for myself."
She remembered she learned coding from the library. That kind librarian lady let her read books for free. That’s why she was a brilliant hacker. That was her kindness. And she also wanted to spread kindness.
Leo looked at her, his heart moved by her kindness. He reached out and gently cupped her face, his thumb brushing away a tear that had escaped.
"You," he said quietly, "are the most beautiful person I have ever known." He leaned forward and pressed a soft kiss to her forehead.
Bella closed her eyes, leaning into his touch.
