"By the way, weren’t you going to see Grandpa with Yao? Where is Yao? Why did he leave you here alone?" Beitang Che glanced around but couldn’t see Yao, finally his gaze settled back on her.

"Yao had something to attend to and left earlier. I couldn’t keep up with his pace..." The thought of Beitang Yao’s cold and sorrowful gaze as he left made her heart ache. She didn’t know why, but she truly couldn’t bear seeing Beitang Yao like this.
