Su Xingfu summoned the family doctor to test the bird’s nest soup and examined Su Huixian’s phone, revealing a call to the telecommunications company rather than bodyguards. The doctor confirmed the soup contained nothing unusual, undermining Su Bei’s accusations. Realizing Su Huixian’s scheme, Su Bei attempted to explain, but Su Xingfu slapped her in fury, leaving her stunned as Su Huixian smirked triumphantly.

Su Bei stared at her father, the man who had always treated her with kindness and never caused her pain!

Su Xingfu's face flushed with rage. “Su Bei, I know you've long held a grudge against Huixian. But I never imagined you'd hatch such a malicious plot to frame her and ruin her image in my heart. It's all because of me. I'm the one who spoiled you rotten and let you turn so cunning!”

All faith in Su Bei had evaporated from him. Clutching her stinging cheek, Su Bei gazed at Du Luo, desperately hoping he'd believe her at least. He was her groom today, after all, so he had to stand by her.

“Du Luo...” But before she could continue, Du Luo cut her off.

His typically gentle expression had hardened into seriousness, his warm eyes now icy cold. In a grave tone, he stated, “Su Bei, you've deeply disappointed me.”

He regarded Su Bei with harsh indifference, as though she were a complete stranger. Yet when his gaze shifted to Su Huixian, it brimmed with profound sympathy and tenderness.

Su Bei's shock from his words hit hard. Despite her boiling anger, the sheer absurdity of it all made her burst into sudden laughter. How had she become the villain everyone condemned today?

She had never given much thought to Xu Zhiqin and Su Huixian in the past. To her, Xu Zhiqin was nothing but a homewrecker, so her hatred for the mother-daughter pair was obvious to everyone.

Even so, Su Bei had always deemed it unworthy of her to stoop to scheming against them.

Today, however, those two had not only framed her but also earned the compassion of Su Xingfu and Du Luo.

What shattered Su Bei's heart most in that instant wasn't the devious plots of Xu Zhiqin and Su Huixian, but the betrayal from her own father and fiancé's disbelief!

Right from the outset, their biases had clouded their reasoning. They had already pegged Su Bei as the schemer deep down. The so-called evidence merely served to affirm their preconceptions.

Su Bei had always seen herself as the legitimate daughter of the Su family patriarch, destined one day to wed into the Du family as Du Luo's bride, but now she recognized the utter foolishness of it all.

Not a single soul trusted or cared for her!

Su Bei finally quelled her laughter. “Du Luo, you've let me down too,” she remarked coolly with a scoff.

She snatched the scissors from the table and sliced through the hem of her wedding gown. Then, in a dramatic flourish, she tore the dress apart and hurled it to the floor.

Du Luo's eyes shadowed over. “What are you doing, Su Bei?”

“Isn't this just what you wanted?” Su Bei's eyes, usually vibrant and lively, now appeared dull and teary.

Dragging her feet heavily, she returned to her room, packed her suitcase, and headed downstairs.

“Sir, Miss Bei is leaving the house...” A maid dashed up to Su Xingfu with the urgent report.

“Let her go!” Su Xingfu seethed with anger. He figured it was high time his daughter learned a hard lesson!

Yet Du Luo's gaze filled with worry. Just as he spun to follow Su Bei, Su Huixian uttered a weak groan and collapsed unconscious.

“Huixian, what's wrong? Don't scare me like this...” Xu Zhiqin wailed loudly.

Du Luo came to a halt and rushed back to Su Huixian.

Su Xingfu, filled with concern, scooped Su Huixian into his arms too.

Su Bei paused at the doorway and glanced back. Seeing her father and Du Luo's reactions, she exited the Su family residence without a second thought.

Bearing all her luggage, she sped off directly to the Civil Affairs Bureau!
