Hellbound With You Chapter 927: Alicia & Zeke Side Story 3

"Who are you?!" A demon—no, a male figure—thrust his weapon forward, directing it threateningly toward Alicia. Towering in height, massively built, and utterly fearsome, he would pass for a giant without question if he set foot on Earth.
Alicia didn't so much as twitch. Even as the demonic aura and sheer power poured from him, his threat level fell short of sparking any fear in her.
Her unflinching stance left the demon male frowning in shock. As he scanned her form, he noted her slim, elegant build—with flowing silver waves of hair and flowing robes. She gave off the vibe of a delicate woman who might crumple under harsh handling. Her stunning, pale features only amplified that sense of vulnerability. That's why he'd tried scaring her with his might and blade. Yet her response had stunned him completely.
"Archer!" Another male voice rang out. Alicia kept her eyes forward, still acclimating to this strange realm she'd been dragged into.
A strikingly handsome yet towering blond man in luxurious attire touched down beside the hulking demon. The instant his eyes landed on Alicia, they flared wide.
"This woman's not a demon!" he burst out. No, hold on… she's human?!
"Seriously? Then how is she even here, alive and breathing if she's not a demon?" The massive one remarked, rubbing his head in bewilderment.
Alicia burned with just one urgent question for these demons—Ezekiel… She desperately needed to know if they recognized her husband.
"Where did you come from, beautiful lady? Wait… you're a witch!!!" Overcome with realization, the handsome male recognized her true nature.
The bulky demon's face mirrored the shock. "So, this is the creature who can summon us demons, out of the Underworld?!"
"Yes."
"That's… unbelievable. Just look at her! She doesn't even look the part! She looks like she would shatter into pieces even if I just poke her a little!" The bigger demon stared in utter disbelief, unable to grasp how this fragile, tiny being held the power to call forth hell's denizens.
"Don't underestimate her, Archer." The handsome one warned knowingly.
"Hah… then what do you want me to do, dukeass, Ruka? Praise her?" Archer shot back sarcastically at the one called Ruka.
"Shut up, you big idiot!" Ruka snapped at Archer. "Can't you sense that there is something strange about her? I can weirdly pick up a familiar scent from her… similar to… His Liege."
Meaningful glances passed between the pair.
"His Liege…" Alicia finally broke her silence, repeating Ruka's final words after eavesdropping on their exchange. Those terms shone like guiding lights in her darkness—clear signs pointing to Zeke's whereabouts. "Are you talking about… Prince Ezekiel?"
Eyes widening with excitement, their expressions confirmed everything for Alicia, sending her heart racing wildly in her chest.
"Who are you?" Ruka questioned cautiously, his striking features hardening into a stern, protective mask.
"I'm Alicia. Ezekiel is my husband."
Ruka's reaction hinted he knew her name or had heard it before. But Archer remained wary.
As Alicia requested they take her to Ezekiel, Archer demanded shackles on her. Understanding their caution, she extended her wrists willingly. In their position, she'd do the same if some unknown claimed to be her master's wife and sought an audience.
Beyond her aching need to reunite with her husband, fear gnawed at her about surviving this realm. Was it safe for her kind here? Could she last in the Underworld? Even if she endured, what penalties might befall a non-demon? Doubts whirled, but her priority stayed locked on locating Ezekiel above all.
She had to discover a path to rush back to her son without any delay. Even though she was certain Azy was safe for the time being, returning to him remained urgent. To her cherished boy. Enduring the thought of leaving him by himself was impossible for her. However, first, she needed to catch sight of Ezekiel, if only for an instant. Or even just a single second, should that be the limit. Any sliver of time, no matter its shortness, she would seize. All she yearned for was to check his state. To confirm whether he was holding up okay in this underworld. That glimpse would suffice completely. The enduring image and certainty of him alive and thriving, merely in a separate realm, would sustain her through her days with Azy on earth.
Ezekiel… oh Lord… hyperventilation threatened to overwhelm her when the demons revealed they were nearing his location.
A dreamlike haze enveloped her senses. Yet, should this prove to be nothing more than a dream, she wouldn't mind in the least. Her only wish was to behold him once more, even if merely a fleeting glance.
