Abigail overheard the famous actress Ina Song desperately confessing love to the ruthless Mr. Qin in a dimly lit underground garage, only to be coldly dismissed for breaching their strict contract that prohibited any demand for affection. Caught eavesdropping, she confronted the inhumanly handsome and intimidating man, whose demeanor shifted oddly upon noticing her yellow scarf. Defying his dire warnings of entering hell, Abigail boldly offered herself as his next contracted girlfriend, promising never to seek his love, and urged him to take her there.

Abigail realized she was coming off like a lunatic.

A voice whispered in her mind, "You're insane, Abi," but strangely enough, she didn't sense it at all. Her thoughts were utterly rational and crystal clear.

This boldest move of her entire life was also the scariest, yet she felt calmer than ever before—more convinced of it than anything else.

The man shot her a disbelieving stare. His gaze drilled into her, as if attempting to peer straight into her soul, but upon noticing the steady resolve in her eyes, he shook his head.

He couldn't comprehend this delicate being standing before him. Everyone craved paradise, but this girl longed to dive into hell? He was utterly baffled. This young woman could be the most captivating person he had ever encountered.

"Yellow, what's your name?" he asked at last.

"Abi… Abigail Chen."

"Abigail…" he repeated her name while toying with her yellow scarf once more. Hearing it from his lips made it sound incredibly appealing.

He appeared lost in thought as he met her gaze again, then a devilish, heart-stopping grin spread across his stunning features.

"Sorry, but…" he began, his eyes scanning her from head to toe again. "I'm not into unattractive girls."

That remark, paired with the teasing smirk on his face, ignited her anger. Normally, such shallow judgments from boys or girls left her indifferent. She never cared about their opinions on her appearance, so why did this man's words provoke her so intensely?

"Just you wait! I'll prove how attractive I can be!" Abigail fired back swiftly. She had no idea how she mustered such words. She always ignored others' comments and never defended her looks, making this outburst surprising even to her. She never knew she could respond like this—until now.

Yet the man's reply was yet another captivating laugh.

"Yellow, you're truly one of a kind." He stated, before his face suddenly hardened. The edges of his mouth curved downward in disdain. "But seriously, I don't go for little girls."

"Ina Song is only two years older than me." She countered, refusing to yield.

"Miss Song is… a sophisticated, alluring woman. While you're…" He arched a brow. "Two years her junior, yet you resemble a granny."

Abigail's irritation grew fiercer. No one had ever stirred her like this. Her outfit today was deliberately dowdy, as usual—pigtail braids, chunky fake glasses, and a dull, oversized winter coat. She knew she appeared utterly plain right now. That was exactly the unappealing image she had crafted for the day, to ensure no guy would spare her a glance.

"I dressed this way on purpose today." She snapped boldly. If she had foreseen meeting this man, she would have at least tidied up a bit.

"Oh... really?"

"I'll show you."

The man chuckled softly, shaking his head. He regarded her with amazement and skepticism, and for an instant, a mysterious, perilous spark flickered in his eyes as he watched her. But it vanished quickly when his hand rested on her head.

"Head home, Yellow. It's getting late." He grinned and slipped into his car.

"Wait!" she shouted, but he just waved before driving off, leaving her stunned and oddly distressed.

Abigail felt deeply annoyed. Pouting with furrowed brows, she climbed into her car. She couldn't fathom why this arrogant man unsettled her so much. Was it his rejection and mockery of her looks? She was accustomed to that sort of thing—it shouldn't bother her this deeply. Even more puzzling, her heart still raced. He was gone, yet she remained jittery?! What was happening? Perhaps it was the lingering thrill from her daring act—the only logical explanation she could muster.

She shook her head to steady herself and turned the key when a knock sounded on her window.

A man stood outside, grinning at her. Dressed in a black leather jacket, he was strikingly handsome too. Was something off with this spot? Why were these exceptionally gorgeous men appearing out of thin air?!

Abigail hesitated to lower the window. Her eyes first scanned for CCTV cameras. Spotting one overhead, she eased slightly but remained wary.

"Abigail, you're utterly ridiculous! You weren't afraid to throw yourself at that terrifying stranger, yet now you're scared to lower your window for this charming fellow?!" she muttered under her breath, shaking her head as if she'd just accepted her own insanity.

Once more, the man rapped on the glass, displaying his captivating smile, like he was tempting her with his handsome allure.

'I have something to give you.' His lips formed the words she deciphered.

With a deep sigh, she at last lowered the car window.

"Hello, Miss…" he beamed, revealing his perfect white teeth. He was genuinely another stunning beauty beyond the ordinary. Yet, in her eyes, that merciless man still outshone him when it came to their appearances.

"What do you want? Need help with something?" she inquired courteously. Leaning closer, the man handed her a slip of paper.

"If you wish to see that man once more, reach out to me and I'll reveal his location," he explained, offering her a gentle smile. An inviting aura surrounded him, making it hard to suspect any hidden intentions. He seemed the type to effortlessly charm others with his warm grin alone. Nevertheless, Abigail sensed this guy was perilous as well.

"That man?" Abigail furrowed her brows, seeking confirmation despite already knowing exactly whom he meant.

"Mm. That icy man who called you unattractive." He flashed a grin, and Abigail blinked in surprise. Her irritation suddenly resurfaced.

"You know him?" she questioned at last, and the man gave a nod.

"He's my friend."

"W-why do you want me to see him?"

"Because you're eager to prove his opinion wrong. Let's call it me assisting you in making your case." He grinned once more, appearing to urge her onward.

Abigail grew even more baffled, but prior to her responding, he continued speaking.

"You don't want to? Have you switched your mind already?" he inquired, looking somewhat let down.

However, as he started pulling his hand back, Abigail snatched the paper he offered.

Satisfied, the man smiled before stepping back. "Bye bye, Miss Yellow! See you!" He waved, vanishing from view in an instant, which left her staring at the note in bewilderment and intrigue.
