Victoria sacrifices herself, creating numerous duplicates to overwhelm a powerful Griffin. Meanwhile, the protagonist uses his blood and mana-infused projectiles to bait the Griffin, causing it to grow significantly stronger. As the Griffin hunts the protagonist, he identifies and marks individuals who attacked him or Victoria, feeding them to the monster. In a final act, Victoria seemingly sacrifices herself again, exploding an arm within the Griffin to severely wound it, allowing her and the protagonist to escape.
