Heaven, Earth, Me Chapter 1639. Girls vs Golden Guardians!
Previously on Heaven, Earth, Me...
While Kali fought tooth and nail with the Golden Guardian, the rest of the girls did their best as well.
Andrea had already summoned Ebirah and Vairon, fighting in close combat but with a hit-and-run tactic. Even if she wanted to clash, her strength was lacking to exchange melee hits with the Golden Guardian.
Even when mounting Vairon caused their strength to multiply, fighting a Level Nine Transcendence Ranked equivalent was not something a Level Four Transcendence like her could do.
Don’t underestimate her Dragon Rider inheritance. Dragons were inherently a strong species, so those who were able to truly become Dragon Riders were only exceptional individuals who were highly looked up to in basically all Heavenly Layers.
Her inheritance just needed a bit to develop to fully show its true strength. Andrea, who had been practicing in the Star Breaker Realm Bead, had made giant leaps in strength compared to how she was when she reunited with Yasenia.
“Ebirah, defend!”
The giant and beautiful pink lobster slammed the ground with her fan-shaped tail, causing the surroundings to surge with crystals. The Golden Guardian swung its sword, slicing several of them.
“Vairon.”
To communicate with the dragon she was riding, Andrea didn’t even need to call out his name. However, she did make an effort sometimes to show active cooperation. Vairon, even before Andrea called out, soared to the sky and opened his giant maw, spewing a torrent of magma.
The Golden Guardian raised a hand, creating a shield.
Andrea, meanwhile, swung the large axe head on her giant halberd downward. This created a gigantic weapon phantom made entirely of sun energy and reinforced by metal energy.
BOOM!
The Golden Guardian’s sturdy knees bent very slightly, but the fact that they did bend was an achievement even the guardians could only wish for. This showed that, while Andrea was probably the “weakest” among the girls, her strength was by no means low.
Just the fact that she could face and fight an active Golden Guardian for a long while, actively attacking and damaging it, showed her tremendous strength.
Ebirah, Vairon, and Andrea moved together seamlessly, holding the Golden Guardian back with their attacks while constantly creating attack situations. The Golden Guardian was not a pushover, though.
With each passing minute, it increased its understanding of Andrea’s battle tactics and slowly gained the advantage. Andrea was not frustrated. ‘Even if the final winner will be the Golden Guardian, I will at least melt away an arm or two.”
Her light green eyes blazed with fighting intent, transmitting clearly to Vairon and Ebirah.

Evelyn, unlike Andrea, was ironically fighting at an extremely close distance. In the distance, Sierra was running in her wolf form, howling and creating electric blizzards to bombard the Golden Guardian.
Meanwhile, Evelyn was using her terrifying speed to take the Golden Guardian into a deadly dance. Each time the large golden sword sliced through where Evelyn was, Evelyn’s heart gave a gentle thump. ‘If I get hit… I might be in trouble.’
She said “might,” but a direct hit would probably leave her half-dead. Even then, Evelyn, utilizing her Lightning and Light energies, zipped around and constantly bombarded the Golden Guardian with spear strikes.
BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!
She shifted to its right, slicing the blade alongside its side. A moment later, Evelyn accelerated, appearing above the Golden Giant and dodging the strike coming her way. Dropping from the sky like lightning, Evelyn struck the top of its head with the tip of her spear.
Black, white, and blue lightning covered the surroundings, her speed further increasing to dodge the next attack.
Moving below the Golden Giant, Evelyn struck the ankles and jumped back before its accurate and delayed kick landed on her. Evelyn’s electric blue hair fluttered, her exotic violet eyes never losing sight of her enemy.
The Golden Guardian shifted its sight, looking at Sierra, and then moved. While the damage Sierra was causing was not large, it was stacking up dangerously. If left for too long, the Golden Guardian guessed it could become troublesome.
“Tsk, you are doing that now?”
Evelyn clicked her tongue and activated her inheritance skill, causing a massive thunderbolt to gather above the arena. The Golden Guardian paused and looked up, slicing toward the sky.
Golden radiance burst skyward, colliding with the descending cataclysmic lightning bolt and blasting it away together with the gathered clouds. That attack was Evelyn’s way of telling it: “You can go deal with the wolf, but if you leave me free, you’ll have more than just small troubles.”
The Golden Guardian, understanding Evelyn’s attack, could only turn and rush toward Evelyn at its top speed. Evelyn’s lips arched in a grin. “Good. I love attention, so focus only on me. It’s just a bit of a shame, though.”
Sierra blinked, never stopping her attacks. “Shame?”
Evelyn sighed. “If the Golden Guardian had a figure like Yasenia, wouldn’t I have the honor of seeing its majestic mountains bounce around during this deadly combat?”
Sierra had an urge to target Evelyn with her next attack, but she held it in with willpower surpassing that of her Wolf Queen nature.

Cecile mounted Fylia and moved around the arena incredibly swiftly. Fylia was a spirit created by the remnants of the Moon Goddess. A ten-eyed Qilin, to be exact. Qilins were mythical creatures on par with dragons and phoenixes.
So, Fylia’s abilities as a spirit resembling such a majestic creature could only be described as terrifyingly strong. While Fylia was probably not on par with Soluna, who had received part of Yasenia’s growth, she was by no means weak.
After spending a lot of time with Cecile, Fylia had focused on developing her abilities in two directions. Mobility and interrupting the enemy. Combining these two abilities with Cecile’s own mobility and her terrifying long-range attacking capabilities, their combo could only be described as annoyingly deadly.
Cecile, mounted on Fylia’s back, released an absolute barrage of terrifying arrows. Some of them split into thousands of others, some of them summoned deadly rays of moonlight, and others jumped through space itself to attack from unexpected angles.
Cecile’s Ice, Moon, and Space attributes, combined with her phoenix flames, were destructive to the point that the Golden Guardian was being worn down slowly but surely.
Their fight, other than the brutal, explosive sounds of their clashes, was silent. Cecile didn’t open her mouth, and naturally the Golden Guardian was silent as well. So, both of them moved around the arena like a white and golden beam, constantly exchanging moves.
Or, better put, the Golden Guardian tried to catch Cecile while being unilaterally bombarded by Cecile’s arrows and Fylia’s crippling attacks.
Fylia galloped in the air, constantly opening a distance, and when they were trapped at an edge, Cecile would use her space abilities to move both of them to the other edge of the arena.
The Golden Guardian had little emotion, but a trace of annoyance and helplessness couldn’t help but start appearing in its mind. Fylia spoke softly. “At this rate, we might be able to defeat it.”
“Stay sharp,” Cecile only spoke those two words, but Fylia understood.
Their enemy was taking damage, but honestly, it was not that much. The Golden Guardian’s sturdiness was more than proven by taking Yasenia’s attacks head-on for several hours. Even Tatyana had to get serious and blast it around for a long while before finishing it.
So, Cecile’s attacks, while effective, were at the level of chipping away at its durability. If the Golden Guardian had any type of strong regenerative power, their fight would’ve been in a perpetual stalemate until Cecile ran out of energy.

Meanwhile, Angel was currently floating mid-air, her hair dyed red and her eyes turning emerald-colored. A giant shield and sword were held in her two small hands. Her face was expressionless, looking at the Golden Guardian in front of her from above.
“Shall we start then?”
With her words, Angel and the Golden Guardian disappeared, reappearing right in the middle. Angel’s body flickered with small-scale circular formations, reinforcing all her senses and giving her shield and sword extra properties.
The next second, both Angel and the Golden Guardian exchanged hundreds of attacks in a matter of seconds.
CLANG! CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!
The sound of shield, sword, and golden sword exchanging blows echoed everywhere, a terrifying storm of energy surrounding both of their flashing figures.
Mirrory spoke with a touch of satisfaction and praise. “Good. You are keeping up.”
Angel’s emerald-colored eyes moved agilely, her shield perfectly predicting the sword path as she danced around the Golden Guardian. Below her feet, traces of glass and blood seeped constantly.
The Golden Guardian glanced at those traces, attacking them with its sword.
“Wrong choice.”
Angel, having expected it to move that way, smashed her sword against her own shield.
CLAANG!
A massive, circular, and incredibly complex blood formation appeared in front of Angel, releasing a barrage of blood spears. The Golden Giant destroyed the glass traces Angel left, but this caused the blood spears to land on its body and embed themselves a touch into the sturdy armor.
The Golden Guardian turned around, the light in the helmet shining brightly. Angel jumped back, striking the ground with her large shield.
BOOM!
The shield caused the arena to tremble, a large circular formation spreading below her. The Golden Guardian quickly rushed, trying to interrupt, but this formation was basically instantly activated.
The Golden Guardian saw several transparent shadows rush at him and blocked them, attacking them.
The formation had created crystal blood golems, but their strength was insufficient to trouble the Golden Guardian. However, they did buy some time.
While the Golden Guardian was entangled by the mass of 300+ crystal blood golems, Angel’s sword danced, the tip of her sword and her feet creating blood crystal shapes.
When the Golden Guardian finished, Angel raised her sword skyward, her green eyes looking his way, indifferent. Feeling a sense of danger, the Golden Guardian looked up and activated several defensive skills.
As it did so, a pillar of blood-red light glowing with iridescent light fell onto it, crashing its knees against the ground from the sheer amount of force. Judging that not acting would be dangerous, the Golden Guardian didn’t hesitate and stopped defending, rushing toward Angel even while receiving some injuries.
Angel’s eyebrow raised slightly. “Ho? Not bad judgment.”
Knowing that she wouldn’t be able to complete the complex formation, Angel reduced its complexity and activated it straight away. Chains appeared around the Golden Giant, tangling its limbs.
Using her movement technique, Angel transformed into a ray of blood-red light, surging forward and appearing in front of it, sword raised high. The Golden Guardian put in strength, shattering the chains, and barely moved the sword to meet Angel’s attack head-on.
With such poor posture, the Golden Guardian was unable to block properly.
BOOM!
The attack, carrying much more force than it expected, caused its body to lose balance. The force pushed it back far away, causing it to tumble. Only after one flip could the Golden Guardian regain its balance.
Angel, looking at it, straightened her back and prepared to attack again. “I knew you were not an easy opponent, but you are truly strong. I can see why Yasenia found it fun.”
With a smile, her energy exploded outward, creating a multicolored pillar of blood-red light. “Let’s do this.”
