Yasenia faced the final trial, but the guardian, Han Luan, was surprised by Yasenia's ignorance of the world. Yasenia revealed she was a "Fate Breaker" from outside, not part of any prophecy. Han Luan explained that their advanced society fell due to greed, leading them to experiment with Abyssal energy and a kidnapped Abyssal human. This resulted in a catastrophic war, the destruction of their world, and the sealing of a powerful monster and the Abyssal human within the palace.

After the conversation with Han Luan, Yasenia left the place holding an entry pass for the [Guardian Trial]. Not only she, but every maid and lover managed to get one. Among Dune’s group, only Dune could get it. The other three failed quite miserably.

When she stepped outside, Yasenia met with her dears and was also spotted by Wu Lan Xin and Miss Bai. "Yasenia!"

The dragoness smiled at the petite Miss Wu walking over. Her cold yet adorable face was something Yasenia wanted to squeeze with her hands, but she held back. "Miss Wu, Miss Bai."

Miss Bai asked, curious. "So, how many of you have passed the Destiny Trials, Lady Yasenia?"

Yasenia answered nonchalantly. "All of us."

"Eh?"

Yasenia chuckled. "Is it that surprising?"

How could it not be? Even among the top talents within their eight clans, the percentage of failures was far larger than that of those who passed the trials. Still, seeing Yasenia’s confident appearance, Miss Bai held back her tongue. Instead, she cleared her throat and asked. "When will you move to the central area, Lady Yasenia?"

This was something Yasenia didn’t know. So, to be sure, she asked. "What are the appropriate steps to take from here?"

Wu Lan Xin answered. "Now, you have two options. The [Guardian Trials] will open around 14 months after the [Destiny Trials]. So, you can wait here until one month remains, or you can go and settle down in the central city. Only that place is dangerous."

"Dangerous?"

Wu Lan Xin nodded. "Yes. The central city is the largest, but also the one with the most influential individuals. So, provoking people there can lead to an untimely catastrophe."

Yasenia shrugged. "Let’s go, then. Miss Bai and Miss Wu should have enough influence to allow me to have no problems or setbacks, right?"

Their lips twitched. ’When did we say that we are going with you?’

However, looking at the beautiful dragoness glancing at them with eyes full of expectation, they swallowed their complaints. So, after exchanging glances, Wu Lan Xin sighed. "Alright. I agree. Let’s depart in a month, then."

"Got it."

Yasenia turned and led her group away. They needed to speak about what they heard from Han Luan, and whether their tales matched. It would be far too strange for the information she received to be fake, but Yasenia didn’t want to gamble on that possibility.

The result after cross-referencing was that the one who learned the most after Tatyana was Yasenia. Tatyana supplemented what Yasenia didn’t manage to learn. "The Core Cities are the cores of the array. If they are destroyed, those monsters will regain freedom. Moreover, it seems that they are at the very limit."

Andrea was impressed. "How did you get so much information?"

Tatyana blinked her red eyes and smiled. "Conversation."

That smile was enough for Andrea to smile back and nod. ’Scary, scary. It’s better not to look into the details.’

Yasenia spread her spiritual sense, but she didn’t pick up anything. Tatyana noticed and chuckled. "There is no way of noticing for now. The formation is perfectly integrated with the surroundings, so searching for it is a loss of time."

"Even for Mom?"

Tatyana shrugged. "I am good at formations, but even I can’t reveal a truly intangible and invisible formation."

Evelyn leaned her head on Yasenia’s shoulder and chuckled. "So, to summarize, we have to wait 14 months and then fight a crazy Abyss monster and its children."

Yasenia blinked. "If we do well, we can ransack... ask for treasures as compensation."

Kali chuckled. "That’s indeed the case."

"Still..." Yasenia sighed. "Fourteen months more without my Aster."

Evelyn let her head fall onto Yasenia’s lap, and looking up at the obscured ceiling, she chuckled. "Is the sky beautiful today? I, for some reason, can only see two peerless—!"

SLAP~!

Even when resting on her lap, Evelyn was dragged out by the tail and simultaneously slapped by it. As for how that was possible, Tatyana only had one thing to say. "Your tail-slapping dao is deserving of its legendary status."

So, with that, it started the next few months of leisure. Their existence, once known, became quite popular all around. A group of breathtaking beauties with enough strength to participate as a collective in the most respectful trial. Such news was hard to conceal even if they wanted to.

During the last month, Yasenia went to each of their rooms and got a taste while recharging their depleting Yang Energy reserves. The girls saw Heaven, shook hands with it, and then returned to Earth.

Yasenia also made sure to visit her copies in the treasure as a warm-up.

Wu Lan Xin looked up at the woman and asked. "Are you ready, Lady Yasenia?"

Yasenia nodded, and a large circular formation activated in the empty space where they all stood. Space twisted, and soon, they landed on another location.

"A teleporting formation..." Yasenia looked at Angel, who was looking around with sparkly eyes, and chuckled.

The large, empty hall quieted down, and all the people who appeared walked out. Yasenia expected it to be cramped, but the number of people was not that high. "Is it because we arrived early?"

"Most likely." Wu Lan Xin nodded. "Since it is a tradition, people are not that eager to come. Most reservations are made during the last six months before it."

Miss Bai chimed in. "This year is bound to become quite animated thanks to Lady Yasenia’s attendance."

Yasenia smiled politely, and as they spoke together, a man’s voice reached them. "Oh? Miss Bai, Miss Wu. It is a great pleasure to meet you here."

The two of them turned and bowed respectfully. "Lord Murong. It is a pleasure to meet you."

"Lord Murong. I hope your health has lasted after the day of liberation."

The man smiled. "I hope for endless precious times and enlightenment guided by our guardians."

After that, Wu Lan Xin pointed to the sky. "I would love to stop by and listen to Lord Murong. However, we need to go to visit my father with the guests. Let’s meet at another time."

Looking at the guests, Lord Murong was stunned for a second. However, after a strange glow from his robes, he came back to his senses and smiled. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Miss. I hope you receive great hospitality."

After he left, Yaseinia squinted. "What was that robe?"

"It’s a mental projecting technique." Miss Bai chuckled. "It seems that your image became influential enough to trigger it."

Miss Bai went to her own state, while the rest of the group moved toward the Wu family state. Once they arrived, they were summoned to visit the Patriarch.

"Lord Father, daughter has returned."

Wu Lan Xin bowed in greetings. The man seated in an honor seat glanced around the slightly crowded hall. His voice was deep, and his strength was also high compared to other cultivators in this area. His name as the Patriarch was not wasted.

"Welcome, guests. I can see that you share some peculiarities. It is our pleasure to receive guests such as yourself."

Wu Lan Xin added. "They’ve all passed the destiny trial, and some of them might be able to ascend, Lord Father."

The man smiled, his mind having already calculated several paths. "To have so many heroines visit our place is truly overwhelming. We will make sure you don’t feel slighted."

Yasenia answered politely.

After leaving the hall with Wu Lan Xin, Yasenia heard her sigh in relief. "Your father seems to be a great man."

Wu Lan Xin answered with a nod. "Yes. He indeed is an extraordinary individual. Lord Father had the strength to fulfill their sacred duty and become the next Guardian Wu, but he gave it up to raise my younger brother and me."

Yasenia nodded, curious. However, she didn’t pry much more. Instead, they all moved and settled in a large courtyard that didn’t feel cramped even with the 250+ maids. Dune and the other three had followed and taken a room that would not bother them.

"Thirteen months..." It was a time that could feel long or short.

So, during this time, the girls decided to explore the surrounding areas. They encountered some exotic beasts, herbs, and other interesting items. Kali was quite interested in the species belonging to a hidden secret realm. After all, there might be some mutations.

"Will you go outside?"

Yasenia, looking at the wilderness around them, asked back. "Aren’t we outside?"

Tatyana chuckled. "I meant the city, silly girl."

"Why should we? If we appear, we will only cause trouble."

Tatyana shrugged. "Is that our problem? You don’t need to hold back because the opponents will be annoying."

Yasenia smiled and used her tail to bring her into a hug. "I know, Mom. However, we will only be here for a year or so. Why should we strain ourselves visiting the city instead of cultivating for the imminent battle?"

Tatyana nodded and spoke. "Up to you. I just don’t want you to stifle yourself because of your looks. Those coveting you are in the wrong, not you for being beautiful."

Yasenia blinked and tightened the hug, raining kisses on her face. "So you were worried. Hehe."

Tatyana smiled and shook her head. Still, Yasenia didn’t ignore Tatyana’s words. Instead of walking outside as a large group, Yasenia moved by herself with five maids behind her.

She was wearing a robe and a veil, hiding her looks, even though hiding her body was impossible. Even with baggy clothes, the imposing, prominent chest was impossible to hide.

"There are quite a few interesting shops."

Anna, by her side, spoke softly. "That’s indeed the case. What are you planning to buy, Young Miss?"

"I don’t know. Should we step into a knowledge spot about advanced knowledge?"

Eve stepped forward. "This way, Young Miss."

"Oh my, did my pretty maids work when I was... working on my lovers?"

Eve smiled, her stern facial features softening. "Is there a reward?"

"Greedy." Yasenia laughed. "You are asking if there is something when you know it is a team effort? You just want to monopolize the reward~."

Eve chuckled, and their group continued happily exploring.

"So, this is the place."

In front of them, a large, closed altar-like structure stood imposingly. Its white and gold exterior, complex formations flowing around its surface. From what Yasenia had learned, they would participate there.

"Hm... I wonder if the guardians are looking at us? They should have some control over this place."

Anna agreed. "You should be right. Everything is covered by a giant formation, so it’s normal that they should have a degree of control."

Yasenia smiled. "Well, we did set up some protective formations. So, I guess it’s alright. Anyway, let’s return."
