Yasenia spent four months comforting Tatyana through gentle presence and maternal warmth, gradually restoring her lover's smiles and laughter. Their intimacy reignited passionately for three months, filled with reassurances about Yasenia's massively swollen belly and her unshakeable confidence in the birth. Carried spoiled in Tatyana's arms, Yasenia reunited with the family, absorbed seduction lessons from Lady First, shared heavenly foods, and felt her pregnancy hormones begin to surge.

Yasenia paced around, her gaze fixed on Ao Xianlan’s nest while she thought deeply.

First, she headed to one corner and nodded slightly, then zipped to another with a faint frown, before dropping to the ground to tap it using her tail and tilt her head.

Ao Xianlan, coiled back around the tree in her Dragon form, couldn’t resist opening her eyes in helplessness. She observed the fidgety pregnant dragon darting about and let out a sigh. “Yasenia, love, what are you doing?”

“Ah?” Yasenia blinked and shook her head. “Nothing, just checking.”

“Checking what?”

“Um…” Yasenia seemed a little uncertain herself. “Just making sure everything feels right?”

Right after her words, footsteps echoed from the entrance, causing Yasenia’s eyes to narrow as she instantly flashed there. “Who?”

Tai Qingzhe, who had stepped out briefly, jumped when Yasenia suddenly appeared before her. “Young Miss, you scared me.” She smiled then. “Here, what you asked for.”

Recognizing Tai Qingzhe, Yasenia’s sharp gaze softened. “Oh? You got it? Thank you, Little Zhe.”

Tai Qingzhe shook her head and handed over a soft mattress in blue and gold hues. Yasenia examined it with a smile, sniffed around, flipped it over, and nodded approvingly. “Good, good. Just as I asked and with the materials I provided.”

Ao Xianlan and Tatyana glanced over, their brows twitching. This marked probably the 60th mattress Yasenia had purchased only to toss aside.

Tatyana appeared beside Yasenia in a flash, gazing at her with a mix of indulgence and helplessness. “Is this one good?”

“Yeah! Just as I asked!”

Everyone rolled their eyes. ‘Wasn’t that what you said for the last one, and the one before that?’

Brushing off the stares, Yasenia strutted into her room, incinerated the old mattress with a burst of flame, laid down the new one, and sprawled upon it. Instinctively, she started spreading her scent by rubbing her tail and body across it, marking her territory.

The sweet floral aroma wafted through the cave, tickling everyone’s noses. This time, even the human maids like Qingzhe caught the potent fragrance.

Star Forge murmured. “Thankfully, Young Miss smells extremely nice.”

Mo Yun chuckled. “Right. It is like a fresh incense made to smell like flowers.”

Once satisfied, Yasenia sat on the mattress, coiling her tail around her half-reclined form. When Tatyana stepped in, Yasenia beamed up at her. “Look, Mom! It’s perfect!”

Tatyana nodded, as she had countless times before. “Indeed, it is perfect. Can I move over?”

Yasenia grinned. “You…” She paused, scanned around, then smoothed a section of the mattress with her palm. “Now you can!”

Tatyana approached, enveloping the dragon girl in a protective embrace. ‘This silly girl. Her hormones are basically going haywire.’

Safe in Tatyana’s arms, Yasenia’s earlier restlessness eased greatly. She nestled closer, eyes half-lidded as purring rumbled from her throat.

Tatyana stroked Yasenia’s flowing black hair tenderly, her heart softening completely. ‘So precious.’

Lady First entered the room cautiously and attentively. Seeing Yasenia glance over without reacting, she breathed a sigh of relief. There had been an incident before when she entered abruptly, triggering Yasenia’s overreaction and panic. It had taken nearly a full day to soothe her then!

“Yasenia, how are you feeling?”

Lounging curled in Tatyana’s hold, Yasenia replied lazily. “Very comfortable.”

Gazing at Yasenia’s swollen belly, Lady First messaged Tatyana via Spiritual Sense. ‘She should be giving birth in a year or less, right?’

Tatyana confirmed. ‘It should be around that time, yes. Remember to tell Ao Xianlan about not allowing anyone in a 1,000-kilometer radius from her cave and, if possible, further away.’

Yasenia lifted her head and questioned. “What are you two speaking about?”

Both women sweated inwardly. ‘She detected our Spiritual Sense communication!? Heavens! How sensitive is this woman!?’

Tatyana smiled calmly. “Just a few things about Laws. Don’t worry.”

Yasenia sniffed at Tatyana’s neck, eyes narrowing as a hint of threatening aura leaked from her. “Why are you lying to me?”

Tatyana gave in immediately! Yasenia was already quite perceptive normally, but now it seemed she’d notice even a single misplaced molecule in her room!

“Alright, we were speaking about some preparations.”

“Which ones?” Yasenia pressed, her thoughts racing through countless defensive strategies. “Is the killing formation I asked you to make already placed down?”

Tatyana cleared her throat. “Yes, it is. If anyone dares to breach, even if it is those ancestors, they will be smitten to death.”

Yasenia blinked. “What if there is someone stronger?” Worry crept across her face. “No, what if someone who goes over the Heavenly Layer’s strength comes? I remember that Mother is not strong enough to fight those experts, right?”

Tatyana lifted her hand, then brought it down.

Slap~.

Yasenia’s plump rear jiggled from the impact, stunning the dragoness. Tatyana narrowed her eyes. “Are you doubting me, Little Treasure?”

Yasenia turned meek at once, burrowing into her arms. “I am not.” She nuzzled her face against Tatyana’s neck. “Mommy is the strongest!”

Tatyana eased her stern posture, smiling warmly. “Good that you know. Don’t worry.”

Yasenia nodded and adjusted her position slightly. Frowning after the shift, she moved again. “Ugh.” She propped herself up a bit, feeling uneasy in her mind.

Tatyana and Lady First halted, scrutinizing Yasenia closely.

The dragoness glanced around, then lifted her hand. A gigantic [Celestial Dragon Claw] ripped through the air, crashing into the cave wall and gouging out a huge hole.

With the hole formed, Yasenia rushed inside. There, she parted her jaws, unleashing Celestial Dragon Breath that melted everything, forming a level expanse.

Everyone watched in stunned silence, careful not to disturb her.

Finished with the melting, Yasenia channeled her Moon energy to freeze and cool the space, leaving a flawlessly smooth surface. Moments later, she waved her hand, calling forth a layer of rich soil adorned with flowers and towering trees.

Tatyana noted Yasenia’s anxious expression but refrained from interfering or questioning. Interrupting her instincts now would be unwise. She even instructed the others via Spiritual Sense to stay silent and still.

After crafting this impromptu jungle, Yasenia excavated another hole for a smaller cave, its entrance concealed amid plants and foliage.

With that complete, Yasenia summoned heaps of cushions, mattresses, and comforts, piling them into the inner cave and nestling amid the softness. Suddenly, intense pain struck, drawing a mighty roar from her.

“ROAR!”

Her thunderous dragon roar echoed as she coiled in her new nest, clenching everyone’s hearts. “This… Little Treasure, are you going into labor?”

Tatyana tried to near her, but entering the makeshift jungle provoked a savage glare from Yasenia, who bared her fangs.

ROAR!

BOOM!

Celestial Dragon Breath blasted forth, narrowly sparing Tatyana. Ao Xianlan, trailing behind, swiftly dispersed the energy.

Soon after, Yasenia summoned more earth and trees to repair the scorched spot from her breath.

Meanwhile, Tatyana advanced gradually. “Don’t worry, baby. It’s me, Mom.”

Her voice brimmed with infinite gentleness and softness, piercing Yasenia’s frayed nerves and mind. She finally responded. “M-Mom, my strength… it’s slipping away…”

The terrifying drain of her cherished power as her body reverted to mortal frailty fueled deep anxiety. With her hormones already chaotic, she had built this inner sanctum within her secure nest for extra safeguard.

Realizing Yasenia’s labor had begun, everyone sprang into action smoothly. Ao Xianlan evicted all within 10,000 kilometers of the cave. Tatyana triggered the killing formation. Lady First swept the area for unwanted auras.

Finally, the maids readied all necessities.

Soluna emerged from Yasenia’s dantian outside the cave. Tatyana instructed her. “Release passive Celestial Energy. That should help Yasenia feel more at ease.”

Soluna nodded, letting her aura diffuse softly.

The distressed Yasenia sensed the comforting Celestial Energy enveloping her and calmed a fraction.

Then, Tatyana closed the remaining gap, halting just beyond the inner cave’s mouth. “Little Treasure, I am entering, alright? You trust Mom, right?”

Yasenia writhed inside, her instincts screaming against intrusion into her private haven. Yet, she trusted Tatyana utterly wouldn’t harm her. As contractions gripped her, she gasped. “E-Enter… Ugh.”

Tatyana proceeded unhurriedly, parting the entrance vines before stepping in at a mortal pace toward Yasenia. The space brimmed with cushions and mattresses, Yasenia centered on the blue-and-gold one.

She lay curled tightly, tail twitching restlessly. Her golden eyes locked on Tatyana, blending three parts wariness with seven parts faith.

Those eyes filled Tatyana with profound acceptance. Dragons typically barred all during birth; Yasenia permitting her presence and proximity underscored their unbreakable bond.

Sitting beside her, Tatyana sensed Yasenia’s power fading rapidly. ‘At this rate, her strength will be gone in two days. At that time, her placenta should break, and she will begin laying her egg.’

Though Yasenia hadn’t checked her womb, Tatyana had scanned discreetly. Surprises were fine, but preparations essential.

‘The egg is quite large. Even with Yasenia’s mortal elasticity, she will suffer a lot and lose a lot of blood. I’ve prepared some blood injections and also some reinforcing food.’

Uncertain of the birth duration for an Empyrean Cosmos Dragon—the first ever—Tatyana readied supplies for an extended ordeal.

Now fully at Yasenia’s side, Tatyana clasped her hand and smiled reassuringly. “I am here. Don’t worry. I won’t let anything happen to you.”

Yasenia nodded, clambering atop Tatyana and curling securely in her embrace.
