Heaven, Earth, Me Chapter 1508. Tense Confrontation and Clarification.
Previously on Heaven, Earth, Me...
Upon emerging from the Starlit Molting Pool, Yasenia faced a truly odd spectacle.
Tatyana stood right in front of her, sword unsheathed, her expression frosty. On top of that, she wore her crimson royal gown, the attire she chose for intense battles, matched with her dark tiara featuring green jewels.
Hovering above Tatyana were the four dragon Ancestors in their massive dragon shapes, dominating the heavens like enormous moons.
Yasenia blinked several times before smartly darting behind Tatyana. “What happened, Mom?”
Tatyana replied, her voice icy. “They regret granting you those benefits.”
That brief statement revealed everything to Yasenia. A scowl formed on her draconic features as she gazed upward. “Seniors, I've committed no wrongdoing. Why behave like this?”
Her look toward Ao Xianlan held hints of disappointment and pain. Spotting those eyes, Ao Xianlan hurriedly clarified, a bit flustered. “Don't get the wrong idea, child. You know how much I cherish you; how could I possibly block you from obtaining what you require?”
Ancestor Long declared, his voice laced with fury. “Ancestor Ao, Yasenia Dravory undoubtedly tampered with something at the Starlit Molting Pool's depths. Would you shield her even if her actions caused the pool to vanish? It's among our premier assets, and its loss would inflict devastating harm on our future prodigies!”
Yasenia furrowed her brow in bewilderment. “Your pool remains undamaged. What led you to such assumptions?”
Ancestor Ji fixed his gaze on Yasenia, attempting to intimidate her, yet Tatyana's mere glance shattered his aura to pieces. Nevertheless, he pressed on. “While you were below, a brilliant glow shot skyward from the pool's bottom. Evidently, you meddled down there. You'd better explain every detail, or you won't leave this place.”
Yasenia observed them and grasped why Ao Xianlan accompanied the Ancestors. ‘She has duties to fulfill, of course.’ This realization soothed her greatly. She held Ao Xianlan in high regard, so turning her into a foe would truly trouble her.
“Ancestors, I truly did nothing harmful to the pool,” Yasenia stated solemnly, then continued. “I swear, I haven't damaged it in any manner whatsoever. In fact, I've improved it.”
Old Dragon Ao had mentioned that refining her shed scales and similar items would yield an even mightier treasure than the one she claimed. Thus, she hadn't cheated the Dragon Clan at all!
Even in her greed, her conscience stayed spotless this time.
Her assurance took effect. Dragons never issue vows lightly, after all. Hence, the explosive tension in the air began to ease.
Noting Yasenia's sincere look, Ao Xianlan let out a deep, relieved sigh. She descended swiftly, shrinking to twice Yasenia's size, then enveloped her in a warm embrace. Her eastern dragon form wrapped around Yasenia as she nuzzled her cheek against hers. “I knew my little Yasenia wouldn't harm us. You're a greedy little one, but never reckless.”
Yasenia's eyes narrowed in bliss, relishing Ao Xianlan's coiling hug. Tatyana eyed Ao Xianlan with clear displeasure, however. “Ao Xianlan…”
“Mom.” Yasenia caught Tatyana's pouting face and offered a soft smile. “Pardon her just this once.”
Ao Xianlan hadn't erred in any real sense, but Tatyana wasn't one to follow pure logic—that's why they called her the Death Empress.
Yet, Yasenia's plea greatly quelled her ire toward Ao Xianlan. Still, a seed of suspicion toward her had now taken root where none existed before.
Her heart stayed narrow and frigid, reserving space solely for Yasenia and her closest kin.
Meeting Tatyana's icy crimson gaze, Ao Xianlan sighed inwardly. She'd begun building rapport with Tatyana, but now all progress seemed erased, setbacks worse than their initial encounter.
Lady First materialized beside them at last, frowning at Yasenia. “What occurred with your physique?”
Only then did Ao Xianlan and Tatyana truly examine Yasenia's transformations. Upon inspection, even Tatyana displayed shock. “Heavens, Little Treasure, how did you bolster your body to such an absurd extent? Wait, it's not just your body—your cultivation has surged terrifyingly.”
Tatyana drew near Yasenia and rested her palm on her snout, channeling a probe into her. Yasenia offered no resistance, letting Tatyana explore her very essence freely.
Lady First and Ao Xianlan winced. No matter how often they witnessed it, Yasenia's total vulnerability made their pulses race.
In her current state, Tatyana needed only a thought to doom Yasenia inescapably. That's the peril she exposed herself to.
Seeing their reactions, Tatyana arched a brow. “Yasenia permits me to touch even her reverse scale—what more could you expect?”
Ao Xianlan's eyes bulged in disbelief. “Impossible! No dragon allows any being, not even birth parents, to contact their reverse scale.”
This instinct was deeply etched in every dragon, akin to a mortal's heartbeat. No amount of training could teach a mortal to halt their heart.
Tatyana scoffed at Ao Xianlan. “Why would I lie to you?”
Ao Xianlan gave a bitter smile. ‘Sigh, I've truly earned her enmity now.’
Yasenia didn't hasten to the next spot. She wished to absorb her recent advancements first. Thus, she requested Ao Xianlan to transport them to her cavern.
They departed, leaving the other three Dragon Ancestors sidelined and baffled. The trio nearly burst a blood vessel in frustration. Yet, they couldn't demand more. Besides, Ao Xianlan hadn't let personal fondness cloud her judgment—she'd backed them staunchly when it counted. This offered some comfort.
Inside the cave, once privacy formations enveloped them, Yasenia recounted her experience. “And so, after my Beast Core burst during the clash, it reformed as the [Primordial Starheart].”
Tatyana's brow twitched repeatedly.
Lady First massaged her sleek forehead.
Ao Xianlan stared at Yasenia with wide, frightened doe eyes.
The maids gaped at their Young Miss in stunned silence.
While Luan Feixue gazed at her with worshipful awe. ‘As expected of Master! Only she defies death itself!’
In many respects, our Feixue spoke true.
Tatyana broke the silence first. “Soluna, emerge for a bit.”
A burst of heavenly radiance summoned Soluna, who appeared dutifully before Tatyana. “Hello, Tatyana!”
“Explain it yourself.”
Soluna nodded and elaborated, sharing surface-level visuals without deep secrets.
“...and thus, the fragments of both ruined treasures merged, fortified by the enigmatic force the Big Boss contained.”
Their expressions grew even more intricate.
Tatyana exhaled deeply, then soared forward to embrace Yasenia's human form. “Regardless, I'm relieved you're unharmed, my daring Little Treasure.”
‘This girl truly keeps my heart in constant turmoil every decade or so.’
She refrained from rebuking Yasenia. Without her bold pursuit of every edge, Tatyana realized she might have lost her ages ago.
Yasenia embraced dangers, but with unyielding confidence, never doubting triumph. She didn't just seize the bull by the horns—she overpowered it, flipping the beast and striking back!
In humanoid shape, Yasenia grinned and pulled Tatyana into her plush embrace. She understood that only near-total fusion would fully soothe Tatyana now.
Thus, she reclined on the couch, wrapping her arms around Tatyana as firmly as possible.
Tatyana sighed contentedly, face nestled in Yasenia's neck, inhaling her scent with misty eyes.
As she stroked the affectionate woman's hair, Yasenia turned to Ao Xianlan. “Aunty Xianlan, were you unaware of Old Dragon Ao?”
Ao Xianlan scowled deeply. “I… can't say for sure if I know him.”
Our dragoness continued. “He seems oblivious to the Heavenly Cataclysm's occurrence.”
“He doesn't… know?” The three-meter dragoness radiated puzzlement. “I'll investigate. Hold on.”
She vanished, likely plunging into the Starlit Molting Pool.
Lady First, meanwhile, scrutinized Yasenia thoroughly with contemplative eyes. “Your allure has leaped forward once more. That molting you described must have amplified your presence further.”
Luan Feixue flushed slightly. “No surprise I found Master even more stunning. My heart races every time our eyes meet.”
Yasenia fluttered her captivating golden slit pupils. “Hm… It is what it is.”
Lady First nearly chuckled but restrained herself, fearing her granddisciple might faint. With a touch of mirth in her silky, melodic tone, she inquired, “What are your next steps? Staying here longer?”
“Yes. I plan to delve to the heart of each of the four realms. Claim everything hidden below. Bear my child, advance my cultivation, then depart. That's the scheme for now.”
Yasenia wouldn't squander this chance to hurry back to her wives. Should they learn of it, she'd face endless nagging.
Lady First approved with a nod. “Excellent. Demonstrate your charm suppression progress.”
Yasenia agreed and shut her eyes. Instantly, supreme control washed over her. Unlike earlier struggles to merely curb her innate charm, this felt effortless.
This time, the onlookers sensed her otherworldly aura recede. She remained stunningly beautiful, her features captivating. Yet, it resembled an immortal beauty among mortals.
The lust she stirred was purely physical, not soul-deep. Without direct sight, no one would detect such a ravishing presence nearby.
Lady First's poised, alluring eyes gleamed with delight. “Good.”
Straightforward acclaim. From Lady First, that ranked as supreme praise. Yasenia beamed, reverting to her usual allure.
The abrupt change jolted the composed women, hearts pounding wildly. It mimicked an ordinary woman unveiling herself as a breathtaking enchantress. Their pulses leaped like frisky fawns.
Lady First mulled it over and nodded. “Very well. You've passed Charm Suppression. Now, we commence charm enhancement training.”
The four maids and Feixue inwardly lit incense. ‘Buddha, Heaven, God, or any divine listener, shield my innocent mind from whatever my master/Young Miss becomes.’
