Harem Stealer: Reborn with the God-Tier Sharing System Chapter 7 7: Elijah Stoneheart

Previously on Harem Stealer: Reborn with the God-Tier Sharing System...
Noah awakened his SSS-rank Ice affinity and was embraced by his mother, who expressed her pride. Examining his unique system, Noah discovered his "Reincarnator" title grants him potential Space and Time affinity and monthly revival. He also analyzed his SSS-rank "Sovereign of Ice" talent, realizing the need for training. Noah then outlined his strategy to reach Apex Academy and steal women from Elijah, starting with the princess.

As Noah Weaverheart experienced his own awakening, another soul was undergoing the same transformative process elsewhere.

In a different part of the city, the massive Stoneheart estate hosted a ceremony of immense significance.

The Awakening Chamber.

Rows of twelve-year-olds from the Stoneheart Clan—one of the prestigious Four Great Families—stood within a majestic hall illuminated by a soft, golden radiance.

The Stonehearts stood apart from other noble lineages due to their sheer scale.

With a patriarch who possessed numerous wives and a vast array of children and branch families, their population far exceeded that of the other three Great Families.

The future of this massive bloodline was about to be decided within these hallowed walls.

The air in the chamber crackled with anticipation, though a deep-seated dread lingered just beneath the surface.

This was because the Stoneheart Clan lived by a solitary, brutal decree.

Might is right.

Awaken a formidable talent, and the clan would claim you as their own with open arms.

Awaken a useless one, and you would be viewed as lower than a common beggar on the street.

Consequently, the hall was thick with hushed conversations.

"I’m certain Lord Aiden will manifest a legendary talent, just as the Patriarch did," a young girl whispered, her eyes sparkling with hero worship.

Every gaze gravitated toward Aiden Stoneheart, a boy distinguished by his golden locks and sharp, blue eyes.

Positioned at the center of the room, he radiated a sense of entitlement that naturally drew the crowd's attention.

He was surrounded by a swarm of peers and flatterers, all vying for his favor.

"Indeed! Lord Aiden is destined for greatness," another voice added. "As is Lady Patricia."

The group looked toward Patricia Stoneheart, who stood some distance away.

The chamber's light played across her golden hair, but unlike the boastful Aiden, she remained perfectly composed and silent, clearly indifferent to the gossip.

Suddenly, a sneer broke the atmosphere.

"And what of that illegitimate brat?"

A wave of derisive laughter followed the comment.

"Elijah Stoneheart? Ha! I can’t wait to see what pathetic garbage he manifests."

"He’ll likely awaken some E-rank trash, matching his own worthlessness."

Despite the rain of insults, one boy did not speak.

His golden hair was matted and filthy from years of neglect, and his once-fine attire was reduced to rags. His hands were balled into tight, shaking fists.

This was Elijah Stoneheart.

The bastard son of Oliver Stoneheart.

The whispers and the contempt had been his constant companions since the day he was born.

He never fought back.

It wasn't just because he lacked strength—which was true—but because he had realized that any reaction was futile.

However… today would be different.

Today, his entire world was about to shift.

His mother had spent hours on her knees, pleading and groveling just to ensure he was granted a spot in this ceremony.

He refused to let that sacrifice go to waste.

Nor would he ever forget the shame they forced him to swallow.

'Please, just let it be a decent talent,' Elijah prayed, his grip tightening. 'Even just an A-rank. Please, Goddess…'

Suddenly—

BOOM!

The heavy doors of the chamber were thrown open.

A statuesque woman walked in, her golden robes trailing behind her like a river of sunlight.

Iris Stoneheart.

She was the one appointed to lead the proceedings.

Ascending the central dais, she spoke to the gathered youths.

"Welcome," she said, her voice resonant and full of authority.

"I am here to oversee your awakenings."

Her sharp eyes scanned the crowd of children.

"Step forward when your name is called. Touch the crystal. Awaken."

The room fell into a heavy silence.

"We shall begin. Julie Stoneheart, come forward."

With that, the ritual commenced.

The hours ticked by.

One name after another was called as dozens of children took their turn.

Yet, none showed true brilliance.

A small number managed B-rank talents at best.

The vast majority were relegated to C or D-ranks.

Finally, only three remained.

The high-born heirs, Aiden and Patricia, and the outcast, Elijah.

"Aiden Stoneheart, come forward."

Aiden marched toward the dais, his movements oozing confidence.

He pressed his hand against the surface of the crystal.

A moment of stillness passed.

Then—

The heat hit.

A suffocating surge of fire burst out, filling the entire hall.

The temperature climbed rapidly. Sweat poured down faces, and several children recoiled, gasping for air.

Aiden stood at the heart of the crimson inferno. The atmosphere scorched around him, making the hall feel like the interior of an active volcano.

As the flames eventually receded, Elder Iris gave a nod of approval.

"Aiden Stoneheart," she proclaimed.

"SS-rank talent—Fire of Destruction."

The room erupted in shocked gasps.

"I knew he could do it!" someone yelled.

"Lord Aiden is truly peerless!"

Aiden wore a smug grin, drinking in the adoration.

Elijah, however, was barely paying attention.

His heart was hammering against his ribs.

It’s almost my turn.

"Patricia Stoneheart, come forward."

Patricia approached with a grace that bordered on apathy.

The moment she touched the crystal, a holy fire surged forth.

This flame wasn't merely hot; it was celestial. The fire seemed to cleanse the very air of impurities, creating a sphere of purity around her.

When the light faded, the result was undeniable.

"Patricia Stoneheart," Iris announced.

"SS-rank talent—Holy Fire."

The cheers and praise doubled. Aiden shot a look of annoyance at his sister, but Patricia simply retreated to her spot, completely unfazed.

Now, only one name was left on the list.

The name of the bastard.

"Elijah Stoneheart, come forward."

Elijah began his walk.

He didn't cower.

He didn't slouch.

He walked with a straight back and a focused mind.

He shut out the glares and the quiet mockery.

Without waiting for a command, he reached out and touched the crystal.

Immediately—

The world seemed to explode.

FWOOM!

A roar of flames engulfed the entire chamber.

But this was no common blaze.

It was something entirely different.

It was hotter, wilder, and far more chaotic. The air itself began to twist, as if the fabric of reality was warping around him.

And then—

The crystal began to melt.

It didn't shatter; it turned into a pool of molten liquid.

Pandemonium broke out in the hall.

Children collapsed, struggling to breathe, while others simply fainted. Even Aiden’s arrogance was replaced by wide-eyed terror as he stumbled back.

Patricia’s stoic mask finally cracked.

Elijah wasn't just surrounded by fire.

He was bathed in a blinding light, and the space around him… it trembled.

A triple affinity.

Fire. Light. Space.

Suddenly, a pillar of golden light descended from above.

As it touched Elijah, his tattered rags vanished, replaced by a pristine white robe adorned with golden inscriptions.

His golden hair was cleansed and shone brilliantly. His eyes burned with a fierce, divine intensity.

He stood there, a figure of pure radiance.

Then—

{Congratulations, Elijah Stoneheart.}

{You have been linked to the Akashic Records.}

Three notifications manifested before his eyes.

{You have awakened three talents:}

• Phoenix's Fire (SSS-rank)

• Light Holder (S-rank)

• Teleportation (A-rank)

{Evaluating your existence…}

{Ding! Ding! Ding!}

{FANTASTIC!.}

{You have earned two titles:}

• The Blessed One.

• The Monstrous Genius.

{Your existence has been significantly upgraded.}

Elijah had no time to digest the information before another prompt appeared—

[Ding! Your system has awakened.]

[The Champion's System is now active.]

[Welcome, Host.]

'So this is the sensation of true power.'

A grin touched Elijah’s lips.

It wasn't a normal smile. It was the expression of someone who had finally grasped everything they ever desired—and more.

He turned around, locking eyes with those who had spent years mocking him.

Their faces were drained of color.

They looked absolutely horrified.

Elder Iris stepped toward him, her voice shaking with emotion.

"Elijah Stoneheart…" she began.

"An SSS-rank talent of unknown origin… along with dual talents in Space and Light."

The moment those words were spoken—

A single, unified thought crossed the minds of nearly everyone in the room.

'We are doomed.'

And indeed, they were.
