Harem Stealer: Reborn with the God-Tier Sharing System Chapter 497 - Harusu
Previously on Harem Stealer: Reborn with the God-Tier Sharing System...
The Origin Will gazed at Noah in astonishment, her cheeks flushing crimson from the abrupt shame his words ignited.
Yet when her sight drifted past him, it fixed upon Diatah's mocking and contemptuous visage, twisted in a sneer directed her way. In an instant, her entire bearing reversed completely.
'Idiotic Harusu!' she scolded herself inwardly, gnawing on her bottom lip, "He's toying with you! Isn't it obvious? That face of his screams deceit!'
With that epiphany striking her, she smacked Noah's hand away, sending him stumbling back a few paces from the unexpected strike.
Deliberately, the Origin Will known as Harusu retreated two steps, her smoky, ashen eyes glaring at Noah with bold challenge.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Noah inquired, curiosity outweighing any annoyance from the slap.
Still, Harusu offered no reply. She had tumbled too swiftly into Noah's honeyed speech moments ago, a slip born from countless lonely years confined to her domain.
In truth, she couldn't even recall her last encounter with another entity, much less a conversation.
Harusu favored seclusion above all, a habit that had eroded her social graces and amplified her anxieties to depths unfit for any immortal.
She recognized this flaw all too well, and it mortified her profoundly. But change seemed impossible. Thus, the Origin Will had cultivated unyielding wariness toward every possible threat.
And yet, she had nearly succumbed to such a blatant snare.
'Stay vigilant, Harusu! Remember your vow—nothing justifies risking yourself if danger can be sidestepped.
Right now, Noah embodied peril itself. Harusu resolved to drive this man far from her reach, no matter the cost.
Regaining her composure at last, the Origin Will eyed both Noah and Diatah with firmer resolve.
"What is it you seek from me?" she demanded tersely, her tone stripped of the earlier thrill, "I'll grant it, just leave me be—as long as it poses no mortal risk to my existence."
Her stare sharpened on Noah, "You've seized complete dominion over the Primus Universe already." Bitterness warped her features in furious resentment, "What more could you possibly desire?"
Evidently, the Origin Will branded Noah as avaricious. And he was aware of it. But he remained silent, still taken aback by her rapid mood swing.
"Why the shock?" Diatah jeered from behind, "You really believe everyone falls for your charms?"
"Truth be told," Noah replied with a sly grin, shooting her a sideways look, "that's precisely my belief."
"It leaves me questioning if you're foolish, arrogant, or just utterly self-absorbed." Diatah hesitated briefly, then pressed on, "In reality, you embody every one of those traits."
"And still, you adore me."
"I merely tolerate your existence."
"That's affection in its early stages. Rest easy, you'll come around eventually." Noah flashed her a playful wink.
Diatah brushed it off and turned her attention back to the Origin Will. By this point, she was grasping that dismissing Noah outright proved the wiser path at times.
'Actually, far more often than not,' she mused, stifling an urge to tsk her tongue.
Noah spun to face the Origin Will once more.
"You clearly avoid complications." He observed, "And by pledging yourself to me, you'd steer clear of any such issues."
"What exactly would that involve?"
"I won't harm you, nor will you harm me." Noah explained, "Essentially, a pact of mutual alliance."
"I refuse any partnership with you." Harusu denied with a shake of her head, "You reek of chaos."
"I'll handle my own troubles without dragging you in." The Prince assured her, his expression turning grave, "On this, you have my word.
His gaze hardened with icy resolve, "I settle my obligations personally, with my own strength."
Though puzzled by the shift, both Harusu and Diatah sensed those words from Noah aimed at some distant foe or force.
This revelation stirred a faint curiosity in the pair.
Noah typically exuded a carefree vibe, all grins and rare gravity. But Diatah recognized the sheer audacity of this man who had wed a scion of the Four Original Races. And Harusu understood the terror of one who pilfered her sovereignty within her sacred realm.
Neither favored Noah, each for personal grievances, yet they couldn't deny...
...they'd hesitate—perhaps twice or even three times—before daring to oppose such a figure.
"Far too persistent and unyielding. Refusing further would shatter my tranquility and invite peril. He's not backing down!" Harusu pondered, yielding at last with evident reluctance.
"Fine then."
She conceded, locking eyes intensely with Noah, "But solely if you vow never to disturb me. Stay away entirely—don't even visit."
"That's rather severe." Noah cocked his head, "What if longing strikes me?"
Harusu's eternal heart faltered for a beat, but she swiftly recalled Noah's manipulative nature—the sort who spun lies as effortlessly as breathing.
Thus, steeling herself in haste,
"Don't long for me." She snapped, her glare laced with warning.
"I swear to leave you undisturbed." Noah pledged, lifting a finger skyward, "But not to avoid seeing you altogether. That's my sole condition.
Accept it—it beats having nothing."
"Once every millennium." Harusu countered, "That's my final stance.
I won't budge up or down."
A smile curved Noah's lips, followed by a nod, "Time means little to beings like us. I agree."
Just as with Diatah before, Noah extended his hand for a clasp,
"I wear many titles, but for the moment, call me Noah Vaelgrim. Lately, I ascended as the Throne of the Primus Universe Spirit
World."
Harusu wavered briefly, suspecting some ploy to ensnare her. Opting for prudence, she formed a hand of swirling smoke and cinders to clasp Noah's in her stead.
The Prince merely grinned, uttering no rebuke for the evasive gesture.
"I am Harusu Nafissatou Fall," she declared, "The Origin Will of The Perfected Reality of Gaia. As her inaugural creation, I stand as her primordial offspring, in a way."
Pride swelled in her voice for those final words.
From Noah's rear, Diatah observed Harusu with a touch of sympathy, while Noah offered no comment on the matter.
"Impressive legacy, no doubt." He commended with a warm smile.
"Naturally." She affirmed with a self-assured nod, "Now, let's conclude this—I have duties awaiting."
"You mean retreating into isolation?"
"Precisely, how did you—!" Harusu cut herself short, then glowered at Noah's teasing smirk, "No, cultivation practice."
"Absolutely, sure."
Harusu tsked in irritation, and Noah initiated the binding ritual,
DING!!
In this way, the Origin Will governing the Spirit World across all creation joined the ranks of Noah's bound allies.
<You may claim only a single boon from Harusu Nafissatou Fall.>
<You have claimed the Aspect: Unlimited Soul Power.>
A grin spread across Noah's face. He lifted his hand, clenching it into a firm fist.
Gradually, with deliberate motion, he unfurled his fingers, revealing a faint shimmer of pale powder dusting his palm.
With a gentle breath, he dispersed the luminous grains, letting them drift wide across the vast domain.
And thus...
"May the Souls reclaim their destined abodes."
...the Principality of the Primus Universe sprang back to vibrant life.
