Harem Stealer: Reborn with the God-Tier Sharing System Chapter 470 - Intruders

Previously on Harem Stealer: Reborn with the God-Tier Sharing System...
Noah and Red found solace in the peaceful Tree of Ashes, where he shared Gaia's guidance on resurrecting erased souls by manipulating Existence, a feat demanding Perfected Reality power to reclaim Rouge, his sister, and their allies. Burdened yet determined, they resolved to craft epic tales of conquest starting with Solstice, their conversation turning to tender intimacy as long-suppressed desires ignited. Their fervent embrace promised ecstasy, only to be violently interrupted by Providence's warning of Four Soul Dragons invading their realm, cloaked in the First Soul Ruler's forbidden might.

In the heart of the Hall of Fog, Red and Noah stood with clear frustration etched across their features, staring at the massive screen before them.

Displayed on it were four souls resembling dragons, boldly attempting to invade their domain without a hint of politeness.

Enveloping their forms were writhing, alive shadows that appeared to consume all in their path, granting them the might to shake Elysiari to its core, as though their talons could shatter it entirely.

"Do you recognize them?" Red questioned her sister, Elira, who was fixedly observing the display as well. Yet unlike the rest, her gaze shimmered with unmistakable familiarity.

"I recognize them," Elira replied, her eyebrows raised. "They lead the fundamental elemental dragons: Fire, Water, Earth, and Wind."

"What brings them here?" Solaris wondered. "Are they dead due to the chaos unfolding in the Waking Universe?"

"That could be," Apollonia cut in, "but that's obviously not the key issue right now, Solaris. These four pests are attempting to storm the domain of a Soul Ruler by force."

She tilted her head.

"That," the Paragon of Light went on, "that's the crucial part."

"Don't forget the energy they're wielding," Ester murmured, positioned to Noah's right, her eyes locked in focus. "It's shadow-based. Yet as the Paragon of Shadow, I've never encountered anything so profoundly distinct but incredibly potent in relation to shadows."

"That's expected. It's the energy from the First Soul Ruler," Maryam at last declared. "Shadow Of One Was Lost. That's her title. And if these fellows possess her energy...."

"Then these souls come from Her," Selene deduced. "It makes sense for their bold assurance in invading our domain. After all, you mentioned being an uncrowned ruler."

Selene cast a sideways look at Maryam. "They don't respect you, it

seems."

Maryam remained silent, though her quietness served as confirmation of Selene's assumption.

This wasn't the initial occasion intruders entered her realm for that purpose. Each one believed her feeble. Such notions proved utterly misguided.

Indeed, how feeble could someone be who declared herself ruler amid four existing ones?

In response, Maryam had slain them all in the most brutal fashions imaginable. Yet this instance differed.

The Paragon of Authority detected an overwhelming surge of the First Soul Ruler's authority upon these four dragons.

All these reflections converged on a lone query...or perhaps

two:

"What brings them here?" Justicia demanded, "and why do they wield Her energy?"

"Well..." Noah started, gesturing with his hand.

Thud. Thud. Thud. Thud.

Four massive forms crashed heavily onto the floor in front of them.

At once, the fog swirled and ensnared them. Noah enhanced it further, binding their minds, bodies, and skeletons to the earth via his Atomic Manipulation.

"...that's precisely what we're going to discover."

"Ah, damn it!" the Fire dragon spat a curse upon sensing his rear hit the solid surface.

The remaining dragons reacted similarly, then jerked their heads up, sensing multiple intense gazes piercing through

them.

Two of those stares burned with particularly ominous fury.

It required just a moment for them to grasp they'd intruded upon the False Ruler's domain.

However,

'Who are these individuals?' Wind pondered inwardly, bewildered.

Her attention snapped back to the moment as Red drew near and crouched down before them.

"What are you doing here?" Red demanded directly.

No one needed genius-level insight to tell these intruders meant trouble. Nevertheless, uncovering the motive was essential.

In response to her query, the dragons recalled their objective. In chilling unison, they whipped their heads toward the artifact.

Its needle indicated with flawless precision at one figure among the group.

Gradually raising their gazes, pulses racing with thrill, their sights settled on a stunning woman.

Her crimson-gold locks, sleek and lustrous, cascaded around her face to slightly below her shoulders. A white combat gown hugged her figure tightly, highlighting her contours, paired with eyes of pure white that suggested the core of souls dwelled inside.

Arms folded across her bosom, she regarded them steadily.

Though Elira Varnis had altered her look, the traits of her face remained unchanged.

With the artifact's verification added, not a single one questioned their find.

"We've located you!" Wind roared, jabbing a finger toward Elira without care.

"Elira-!"

CRACK-!

"Arghhhhh!" Wind's shout halted abruptly as agony surged

over her.

"When I pose a damn question," Red snarled like a frenzy-driven predator, snapping the finger Wind had insolently aimed at her

sister, "you reply. Got it? Let's begin anew."

The Paragon of War unleashed her aura from within, a scarlet haze brimming with cries of injured warriors, blaring war trumpets, the splash and rush of spilling blood...all crashing upon the four dragons akin to a blacksmith's hammer on metal.

Red's countenance transformed into a blood-veiled mask

with sharp scarlet fangs grinning broadly up to her gaze, and twin spinning rings, swirling with gore and demise, serving

as her eyes.

"What are you doing here?"

The shadows cloaking the four dragons shifted, coiling around them in defense. Relief started to wash over them, but Red's aura kept surging upward, weighing them down more and more.

Only then did realization dawn that they occupied hostile ground.

On instinct, Wind responded, "We're here to locate Elira, The Lone Soul Dragon!" She shouted, her digit failing to mend under Red's influence. "The First Soul Ruler dispatched us for this task! Slaying us would provoke Her wrath!"

Her statement prompted Noah to angle his head. "Why does she desire my

wife?"

Elira, on the other hand, felt completely baffled. Why would a Soul Ruler seek her out?

"We have no idea!" Fire declared. "But failing to deliver what she demands, she'll arrive personally."

The implied warning in his statement rang clear. Observing his glare fixed on them, it was evident Fire issued a threat. Maryam understood the First Ruler's immense power well. As the mightiest, she rarely meddled in schemes. Even so, allowing her entry into their sanctuary spelled trouble...

That is, if Noah and her daughters-in-law weren't present.

"I understand," Noah responded plainly at last.

He glanced back over his left shoulder toward Elira. "Any thoughts on why?"

"If it's a Soul Ruler seeking me? Absolutely none," Elira stated. "But if it's

these dragons..."

She offered a chilly smile.

"Their desire for me mirrors what nearly all in the dragon

faction crave. They aim to breed me, darling, or seize my power somehow, exploiting me to rise in ranks."

She gave a casual shrug. "I've faced so many such scenarios that predicting them comes easily."

And that explained why I pushed hard to become the emissary to a fresh realm in search of a dragon champion. I'm glad for that choice, she thought inwardly, smiling to herself.

That choice had utterly transformed her existence.

The four dragons recoiled at Elira's declaration. A reaction that didn't go unnoticed by the Vaelgrim.

"Oh," Noah murmured, his smile turning icy. "Your dragon faction's destiny already dangled by a hair after your Progenitor's actions.

But hey..."

He started advancing toward them.

"It can always get grimmer, apparently. Still, no more shocks for me. Besides, time's limited. Let's get to it."

He lifted his hand and contacted the Water Dragon. She trembled, her eyes bulging in dread.

Noah flashed a wicked grin. "Your timing couldn't be better."
