Handsome CEO's Darling Wife Chapter 911 EPILOGUE
Previously on Handsome CEO's Darling Wife...
Juan observed the young man. This nineteen-year-old possessed fine features and a well-built physique. His light brown hair danced in the breeze, and his ocean-blue eyes sparkled with amusement.
Juan, intrigued by the source of the boy's mirth, inquired, "Did something happen?"
The boy turned to Juan, responding with composure, "Grandpa Pedro sent Lin (rice ball number four) on his first mission. Lin was tasked with treating Elder Cheng."
Juan recalled the events. "I remember hearing about Elder Cheng. He suffered a heart attack, and Lin saved his life, didn't he?"
The boy gave a slight nod. "He performed admirably."
Lin, known for his tender heart, had a moment of embarrassment after tending to Grandpa Cheng; he realized he had urinated in his pants out of sheer nervousness. As was his custom, he shared this with his brothers. Upon reading his text, his elder brother struggled to maintain a neutral expression in Juan's presence.
As no further explanation was offered, Juan refrained from asking more. He then issued a command, "I have another mission for you. If you succeed, I will permit you to return home."
"Alright, it's already time to head home," the boy replied, gazing out at the tranquil ocean before him. The word 'home' washed over him like the gentle waves, evoking thoughts of his mother and twin sisters, whom he dearly missed.
Juan stated, "It is time for you to travel to Spain. Your objective is to locate the nexus of the largest child trafficking syndicate. That is all for now; we will handle the rest. Shin will provide you with further intelligence."
"I shall contact him immediately," the boy said, turning to depart.
Juan offered a smile. "Good luck, Lian."
Lian felt a disquiet creep in from Juan's manipulative smile, sensing an underlying scheme. His intuition proved correct. It turned out his mother, Mu Lan, would be the one to eliminate everyone after he uncovered the organization's core.
Witnessing his formidable mother in action, Lian was filled with awe. He had always yearned to see her in her professional element. Despite having perused her profile, his curiosity remained unquenched. He called out, "Mommy?!"
Mu Lan surveyed the bloody aftermath with immense satisfaction before turning to her eldest son. "Rice ball!" she exclaimed, striding forward to embrace him. "You've grown so much, baby. Mommy is incredibly proud of you."
Lian still found it difficult to process what he had just witnessed. "Mommy, why are you here?" he inquired, under the impression that his mother had retired from The Cobra.
Mu Lan smiled. "Juan informed me you were on a mission. I wanted to witness my baby's work firsthand. So, I volunteered to handle this particular assignment. Did mommy surprise you?"
"You certainly did," Lian admitted.
"You've accomplished enough. Let's head home; everyone is eagerly awaiting your return." Hand in hand, mother and son strolled down the darkened street, a colossal fire raging behind them, punctuated by the distant wail of police sirens.
Lian blinked, asking, "Everyone?!"
Mu Lan elaborated, "Ling (rice ball number two) and Laquan (rice ball number three) have concluded their missions and returned to Paris. They made sure to visit grandpa along the way. Lin is still in Italy, attending to grandpa. He's become quite good friends with MingLi (Lu Feng's son)."
Lu Feng's daughter, Meixian, inherited her mother Yan Su's disposition. This mother-daughter pair had traveled to Madagascar. MingLi, younger than his sister by three years, developed a passion for botany and pursued research mirroring his father's interests as he matured.
Following their meeting, the promising young researcher MingLi and the skilled young doctor Lin forged a deep and enduring friendship, their personalities and interests aligning perfectly. What more could they possibly desire?
Mu Lan and Mu Liang could only hope their children wouldn't follow the same tragic path as Mu Chen and Hugo.
"How are Ying (LanYing) and Juan (LiJuan)?" Lian inquired about his sisters.
Mu Lan replied, "Ying has launched her debut album subsequent to signing with our company. It has been met with tremendous success. You know your father; he dislikes his daughters being beyond his control, hence he expanded our business into the entertainment industry. He might entrust you with overseeing the company once you reach twenty."
"I wouldn't mind that at all." He had been preparing himself for the role of the next President of Mu Corporation since the very beginning. His occupation within the company would serve as a facade for his clandestine operations as The Cobra.
"And Juan secured the first prize in the musical competition. She's overjoyed. She had been yearning for a personal kitchen for quite some time. Since she emerged victorious, she requested it. Although your father was reluctant, he had no choice but to grant her wish. She is steadily honing her culinary skills." Mu Lan spoke with evident happiness about her daughter.
Lian frowned. "You should have intervened, Mommy. What if she had injured her fingers? She wouldn't be able to play the piano if such a thing happened."
"Then she'll need to be cautious while preparing meals. Without taking a tumble, she'll never learn to walk, my dear. Allow her to develop just as you and your brothers did," Mu Lan sighed. "She at least possesses the skill to cook. Ying nearly ignited the entire kitchen attempting to make a meal. I can't fathom she inherited that trait from me."
Lian offered a smile. "I wish to try Mommy's instant noodles," he chimed.
Mu Lan embraced him. "Of course, I shall prepare them for you. Whatever my baby desires, I will provide. Let's return home first. Your father awaits us on our private jet to bring us back."
The mention of his father brought a warmth to Lian's expression. He felt a need to apologize for his past actions. He understood his father well and knew he must have endured significant hardship over the five years. A sincere apology, he believed, would lead to their complete forgiveness.

Deep within the mountains, concealed behind a cascading waterfall, lay a hidden cave. Its entrance was not easily discovered, and the approach was fraught with peril. The area before the cave was perpetually damp and shrouded in mist, the ground slick and treacherous. A moment's carelessness could easily lead to a fatal plunge into the churning waters below, where the waterfall met jagged rocks. Such a fall meant certain death.
The cave itself was a dark and profound abyss. As one ventured deeper, the environment transitioned to a surprisingly dry and warm sanctuary. The cave terminated at a solid rock face. Torches cast flickering light, illuminating the cavern's depths, effectively muffling the roar of the waterfall. From this hidden recess, the outside world was utterly cut off, making it an ideal location for quiet contemplation and meditation.
A man, his physique robust and head devoid of hair, slowly opened his eyes. Thirty years of dedicated meditation had finally culminated. He flexed his hands, marveling at the palpable surge of power coursing through his body. Despite abstaining from food and sleep, he felt an profound sense of calm, devoid of any hunger or fatigue. Rising to his feet, he stood with unwavering stability.
Emerging from the cave, he surveyed the dense woodland before him. 'Things have indeed changed,' he mused. 'The air was markedly colder when I first arrived here.' The prospect of reuniting with his family filled him with a comforting warmth.
A gentle breeze rustled through the trees, setting the branches and leaves into a graceful dance.
"I am aware of your presence," he stated calmly.
From the depths of the shadows, a figure clad entirely in black attire emerged and knelt before him. Several similarly dressed individuals lined up behind him, also assuming a kneeling posture.
The foremost figure spoke, voice filled with reverence, "Congratulations, Master! We rejoice in the completion of your arduous mission. It is an honor to be your disciples."
The bald man's muscles seemed to relax, and a gentle smile graced his lips. "I am delighted to see you all," he replied, his gaze sweeping over each face, recognizing them all.
However, after a thorough assessment, his brow furrowed in displeasure. "My sister is absent. Has she forgotten the appointed day of my awakening? Truly, I have indulged her too much. Now, she refuses to acknowledge her sole brother."
The man in black flinched, bowing so deeply his forehead met the warm earth. "...Regarding Madam... she..." he faltered, unable to complete the sentence. The individuals behind him swallowed audibly, their unease palpable.
The bald man raised an eyebrow slightly. "Has something befallen her? What has my mischievous sister done this time?" A faint smile played on his lips.
The man in black delivered the somber news. "Madam... perished in a traffic accident twenty years ago."
Crack!
With a powerful roar, the bald man struck a massive stone, shattering it into countless fragments. His eyes, colder than the desolate Antarctic, fixed his frosty glare upon them, sending shivers down their spines. His voice, laced with an icy chill, commanded, "I wish to know every detail of events that transpired during my absence."

Meanwhile, in Peru, Juan was engrossed in sightseeing. He glanced upwards, observing the sky darken as dense clouds obscured the sun. "A storm approaches," he murmured to himself. "I must return home swiftly."
