The Magic Rule Power was one of the conditions for reaching the Magic Lord Rank. I had to increase my mana core and other stats as well.

But it would take a longer time unless I found another relic to increase my talent. For the time being, my current strength was enough to manage the mission.

Then I stood up and went to get ready.

The whole city was in a state of panic. I appeared outside half an hour later. Then I left the storeroom and exited the shop.

It was already evening. The conversations on the streets were about the auction house. I had thought they would speak about the culprit.

But I was hearing something else. As I continued to listen further to the conversations of the people, I learned that the Auction House was threatened by an Elder Level Powerhouse from an unknown Wizard force.

Because of it, the outsiders who had come for the auction left the city early. They didn’t want to get caught in the crossfire.

Hearing that, I was surprised. I didn’t expect this kind of development. I had thought that the Auction House would look for the culprit everywhere.

But it could be a deception. A hint of seriousness appeared in my eyes. Maybe the auction house people were looking for me. It was just that they had created a false noise outside.

When this realization dawned on me, I felt the seriousness of the matter. I should leave the city as well. But before that, I decided to visit some stores to collect information.

Time passed,

I asked around a few stores and found out there were limited transport services available. But most of them were for business purposes.

There were no public transport services. After collecting the information, I left the city during the night.

The guards didn’t make things difficult. It was surprising to me. I resumed my journey towards the next destination.

After leaving the range, I used the system to confirm the situation outside. I took out the black raven aircraft. I brought the zero puppet along as well.

The zero puppet transformed into black and red smoke. It entered the cockpit too. Then I started the raven aircraft.

The aircraft rose from the ground and began to fly in mid-air. As the aircraft flew at a certain altitude, I put it on stealth mode.

Swoosh!

The raven aircraft moved smoothly through the air. The zero puppet smoke looked at the coordinates. Seeing that, I asked for the coordinates and set the new destination.

After doing that, I leaned back in the chair. The zero puppet entered the cabin and reverted back to its original form.

The following day,

The daylight appeared. The terrain outside was completely new, a semi-desert. But the tracks of carriages could be seen on the ground.

If one followed the tracks on the ground, they could reach the next human habitat. It must be the first human habitat after Gold City.

But I had no interest in exploring the place. The flight continued to move along the coordinates.

Boom!

Not long after, I heard a booming sound. Hearing that, I slowed down the raven aircraft. The aircraft flew slowly.

The zero puppet became dark and red smoke.

"Master, there seems to be a fight ahead," the Zero puppet said.

"Yes, let’s look at it," I replied.

It didn’t take long for us to see the fight. A group of black-clad Wizards were harassing some travelers. The travelers were using monster carriages.

"Master, the group of travelers might need help," the Zero puppet said.

Hearing that, I used the system to scan the place. There were no Magic Lords or Forbidden Wizards.

"Zero, go and collect information before saving them," I said to the zero puppet.

"Yes, master," the Zero puppet replied.

The next second, the black and red smoke left through the window. In a flash, the smoke reached the land. It went towards the monster carriages.

The monster carriages were surrounded by the black-clad wizards. The strength shown by the wizards was between Level-9 and Level-10.

It would be a piece of cake for the zero puppet to kill them. And it was also the first time for me to witness the strength of the zero puppet.

On the other hand, the dark and red smoke reached the carriages. It didn’t take action immediately. First, its priority was to collect information.

"Leave your carriages one by one!" a burly man shouted in a loud tone. He was the leader of the group. He was also the only Supreme Wizard among them.

Hearing that, a commotion occurred inside the carriages. The guards outside the carriages were looking at the black-clad wizards with hostility.

The strength of the guards was not weak either; they had the strength of level-9 as well. There were four carriages here and six black-clad wizards.

The black and red smoke entered one of the carriages to collect information.

There were two old men inside. They were looking at each other’s faces with distress.

"No matter what, we should escort the healing potion back to the family. Only then can the family head be saved from the venom of the 11th Order river monster," one of them said.

"Let’s lead them towards the undying river. The river monsters will take care of the evil Wizards," the second said.

The strength of the two people was at the Supreme Wizard level as well.

Creak!

Both of them then stepped out of the carriage. Seeing that, the burly man had a triumphant look on his face. But his facial expression changed drastically.

He saw the two old men, and realized their strength was at the level of Supreme Wizards. He signaled his men. They got the cue, and the next second, they fled from the place.

They ran in different directions. The burly man fled from the place as well. The two old men were not surprised.

"Do you think it’s over?" the first elder asked.

"Their base must be located near the undying river. We should cross the river first," the second elder replied.

Then they returned to the carriages. The carriages then resumed their journey.
