Young Master Raymond has returned, having been training in the mountain range. His family, the Raymonds, and the governor's office breathe a collective sigh of relief. Meanwhile, the protagonist travels by aircraft, encountering a mysterious and uncharted rainforest. A sudden, toxic downpour forces the protagonist to retreat into their aircraft's internal space, waiting out the storm.
Forest

After making the necessary preparations, I emerged into the forest. I activated the system to survey the surroundings.

Detecting no immediate threats, I soared over a nearby tree, alighting on a branch. For about half an hour, I remained there, observing the area. No mages or beasts were present; it appeared to be an ordinary woodland. Yet, a sense of unease lingered, though I couldn't pinpoint the reason. I utilized the system's probe function once more, but the results were negative.

Dismissing the lingering doubts, I materialized in mid-air. I then summoned the raven aircraft and boarded it.

A few minutes later,

Our journey resumed with the raven aircraft cruising through the sky. I watched the azure sky outside, noting the absence of the dark clouds that had previously obscured it. The aircraft was not in stealth mode; instead, I was piloting it with careful attention.

Time elapsed,

The verdant forest seemed to stretch on without end.

Around noon, something peculiar occurred. I observed a familiar landscape passing by.

A spark ignited in my eyes. I continued guiding the aircraft, and it wasn't long before I identified the issue. I was traversing the same area repeatedly, seemingly trapped in a loop. The aircraft was unable to break free.

"What sort of magical enchantment is this?" I pondered aloud.

"System, what is happening?" I inquired of the system.

I had anticipated a warning from the system, but this is what was unfolding.

[Ding! The host is currently experiencing a natural phenomenon.]

[Ding! The host is not under attack. The phenomenon will dissipate shortly.]

The system's voice resonated in my mind. Relief washed over me at its words. For a moment, I had feared I was in grave danger.

It turned out to be not a threat, but a magical marvel of this world. I then resumed piloting the aircraft.

Swoosh!

The aircraft pressed onward. The loop concluded swiftly, and I noticed the clear sky ahead. I let out another sigh, having underestimated the world's wonders. I realized that further travel would undoubtedly lead to more encounters with such marvels.

An hour later,

The expanse of the green forest concluded, giving way to a rugged, barren landscape. As the aircraft exited this region, I glanced back, my gaze settling on the preceding forest. Despite the absence of monsters or mages within, it held its secrets. If time permitted, I would have delved deeper to understand the cause of the loop.

Turning my attention forward, I continued the flight.

The aircraft traversed a rocky terrain, with uniformly sized rocks erupting from the ground. These stones possessed a rare, white hue. It was another astonishing location. As we flew onwards, a vast lake came into view, stretching for miles, its entirety unseen.

To ensure our safety, I ascended above the clouds. Flying at a lower altitude could attract unwanted attention.

As the aircraft neared the lake, my eyes detected something. I employed the system's probe function to scan the waters.

[Ding! A 12th Order Monster Squid resides within the lake, accompanied by other aquatic monstrosities.]

The system's notification echoed in my mind. My heart quickened. Just as I marveled at the lake's unusual nature, the system's report arrived.

Boom!

The tranquil blue waters of the lake churned violently. In the ensuing moment, a colossal tentacle erupted from the depths, lashing directly towards the aircraft. Its speed was tremendous; had I not reacted instantly, the aircraft would have been struck. The next second, I, along with the Raven Aircraft, materialized within the System Space.

I deactivated the aircraft and disembarked. This new system function was proving immensely helpful. I then hurried towards Gregor Mansion.

Outside,

The massive tentacle struck empty air. The aircraft had vanished without a trace. The 12th Order Monster Squid residing deep within the lake was taken aback. Possessing a semblance of human intelligence, it was certain it had detected a mage aircraft, and it had correctly identified it. This certainty stemmed from the presence of numerous shattered aircraft and airships of various sizes scattered across the lake's bottom.

Undoubtedly, these were the remnants of the 12th Order Monster Squid's attacks, having destroyed most flying vessels that dared to cross the great lake. There were exceptions, however. The Monster Squid did not target airships or aircraft carrying a Forbidden Wizard or an Elder Level Powerhouse. Had it engaged them, their overwhelming power could have vaporized the entire lake. The Monster Squid was discerning.

But this time, after probing with its tentacles, the aircraft had inexplicably disappeared. The Monster Squid harbored suspicions of a Forbidden Wizard or an Elder Level Powerhouse being aboard. It hadn't sensed them earlier. Perplexed, the Monster Squid retracted its tentacles, and in a blink, the Great Lake returned to its serene state.

Meanwhile,

Within the Gregor Mansion's control room, I observed the unfolding events via the mirror, utterly astonished by the colossal scale of the monster. Monsters of this magnitude are a rare sight; those with inferior bloodlines typically struggle to ascend to higher orders. The presence of a 12th Order Monster Squid, boasting a super-grade bloodline, was indeed remarkable. I found myself pondering if anyone had attempted to capture it. A suspicion arose that perhaps this creature had been noticed before, possibly even kept as someone's pet. Swoosh! Suddenly, I materialized outdoors. Casting a final glance at the lake, I resumed my journey, aiming to traverse its expanse as swiftly as possible. Yet, I sensed a massive presence stirring beneath the water's surface, matching my pace. I casually surveyed the lake, discerning the immense silhouette of a creature moving within the depths. This confirmed the lake's considerable depth, sufficient to harbor such a gigantic beast. To avoid being pulled into the watery abyss, I accelerated my pace.
