“You must be Mr. Helian, the sixth disciple of Master Mu, correct?”

Patriarch Helian nodded in response.

A fawning smile appeared on the Princess Royal’s face. “I apologize for not welcoming you sooner after your long journey. Regarding the current situation, it has no connection to the Sacred Mu Cliff. I suggest you stay out of this and avoid bringing unnecessary trouble upon your Sect.”

The Princess Royal assumed that by showing such courtesy, the other party would feel flattered. Instead, Patriarch Helian let out a cold laugh. “It is not your place to dictate how the Sacred Mu Cliff conducts its business!”

The Princess Royal’s expression turned icy as she asked, “Are you certain you wish to interfere?”

Both Patriarch Helian and Master Linghu shared a quiet chuckle. Though they remained silent, their stance spoke volumes.

The Princess Royal sneered. “Given the way things stand, are you truly prepared to go down with the Luo family?”

“Are you so sure that is how this ends?” Patriarch Helian countered.

Only then did the Princess Royal realize that these two men had arrived fully prepared for a confrontation.

“Why go to such lengths?” The Princess Royal voiced the confusion felt by the entire crowd. “What reason do you have to support the Luo family?”

Patriarch Helian smiled thinly. “Our support isn't for the Luo family; it is for Feng Wu.”

A collective gasp rippled through the audience.

Feng Wu? How was Feng Wu involved in any of this?

Feng Xun lifted his chin, looking quite pleased with himself. It was obviously for Xiao Wu. After all, Xiao Wu shared a very close bond with these two esteemed Elders!

“Is she worth risking the reputation of the Sacred Mu Cliff?” The Princess Royal asked, her teeth clenched in frustration.

“The people of the Sacred Mu Cliff are not to be insulted!” Patriarch Helian shouted, glaring at the Princess Royal.

The Princess Royal demanded, “And who exactly has dared to offend the members of the Sacred Mu Cliff?”

It was common knowledge that the Sacred Mu Cliff was a powerhouse no one dared to provoke; people generally treated them with the utmost respect. Nobody would be foolish enough to target them.

“You did,” Patriarch Helian stated flatly.

“I did no such thing,” the Princess Royal denied.

Patriarch Helian pointed directly at Feng Wu. “You have been bullying her.”

The Princess Royal argued, “She does not belong to the Sacred Mu Cliff.”

“She most certainly does,” Patriarch Helian insisted.

Once again, the crowd was stunned into a shocked silence.

What? Feng Wu was a member of the Sacred Mu Cliff?

Even Feng Xun was floored. Despite his closeness with Feng Wu, he had no idea she possessed such a connection to the Sacred Mu Cliff!

The Princess Royal was equally shocked. “What did you just say?!”

Patriarch Helian declared, “She is our Junior Sister. How could she not be part of the Sacred Mu Cliff?”

Feng Wu herself was caught off guard. Hadn't her Sixth Senior Brother warned her to keep her status as his Master’s pupil a secret? Why was he revealing it so publicly now?

“That is impossible!” the Princess Royal screamed. “Are you claiming she is a pupil of Master Mu? The Sacred Mu Cliff has never had a female disciple! Has anyone ever heard of such a thing?”

Master Murong and the others shook their heads in unison. No such rumor had ever reached their ears.

“Master Mu has been gone for a long time. There is no way he took on a female student. This is total nonsense!” Lord Yan sneered contemptuously.

Master Murong questioned, “Are you perhaps accepting a pupil on your Master's behalf?” Every eye turned toward Patriarch Helian and Master Linghu, waiting for an answer.

Patriarch Helian smirked. “Believe it or not, my Master truly did take her in personally.”
