God-tier Farm Chapter 3890 A drama (1)

Lu You remained quiet for a brief moment before she spoke softly, "In that case, I will wait a few extra days! Having Weiwei and Qingxue there will give me some company..."
Xia Ruofei felt a wave of relief wash over him. He quickly replied, "That sounds good! I'll reach out to Chen Xuan in a little while."
"That won't be necessary. I will just have my teacher notify Sect Leader Chen," Lu You informed him.
After a moment of hesitation, Xia Ruofei asked, "Lu You, about... Valley Master Liu..."
"Teacher is heading back today!" Lu You was sharp and immediately grasped what Xia Ruofei was worried about. "The Soaring Flower Valley has many matters requiring her attention. Since she has been away for quite some time, she is in a rush to return home."
Xia Ruofei let out a long breath of relief. He would have been in a difficult position if Liu Mansha had requested to travel with Lu You.
Naturally, he preferred not to reveal Paradise Island to the wider Cultivation world. Even if the secret eventually came out, he wanted to delay that day as long as possible to prevent unnecessary complications.
However, Liu Mansha had always treated Xia Ruofei with kindness. If she had insisted on accompanying her disciple, how could he have refused her? It would have been a very awkward situation.
Luckily, Liu Mansha likely anticipated this. She didn't even suggest coming along with Lu You and instead chose to head back to the Soaring Flower Valley early. This realization made Xia Ruofei feel much more at ease.
"By the way, when are Weiwei and Qingxue expected back?" Lu You inquired.
Xia Ruofei answered, "I'm not entirely certain. Very likely within the next few days. They usually don't stay away for long. I'll tell you what—I'll call them shortly and find out their schedule. Then I'll come to collect you ahead of time!"
"Alright, I'll be troubling you then..." Lu You said.
Her tone was extremely polite, yet there was a noticeable sense of distance. Xia Ruofei understood her mindset and couldn't help but feel a pang of sympathy for her.
With a silent sigh, Xia Ruofei forced a smile and said, "Lu You, we've been friends for a long time. There's no need for such formalities..."
"Mhm, I understand," Lu You replied. "If there isn't anything else... I'll hang up now."
"Sure! I'll see you in a few days!"
Once the call ended, Xia Ruofei stood motionless for a long time, lost in thought, before letting out a heavy sigh.
He then picked up his satellite phone to call Song Wei.
The line rang several times before Song Wei finally answered.
"Ruofei!" Song Wei's voice was filled with cheer.
Feeling a bit better, Xia Ruofei asked, "Weiwei, are you at home?"
"Yes! I was just eating dinner, but I saw your call and stepped out into the courtyard to talk." Song Wei said with a smile, "My parents were just mentioning you during dinner! It's like you knew they were thinking about you. We were just talking, and then you called."
Hearing this, Xia Ruofei pushed the thoughts of Lu You aside for the moment. He chuckled and asked, "Me? Don't tell me you've already informed your mother about Cultivation?"
"No, not exactly..." Song Wei explained, "But we have dropped a few hints! Remember that breathing technique you taught my father for his health? He's brought it up several times lately. He even mentioned that I've been practicing with him and seeing great results. He said my mom should learn it too when there's an opportunity..."
Xia Ruofei laughed. "But your style of martial arts isn't a good fit for her! Besides, your mother's body requires modification before she can begin Cultivation. What if she gets too excited and wants to learn from you right now?"
"My dad plans to tell her slowly. He's worried that if he dumps everything on her at once, she won't be able to process it... Later on, he intends to show off some of his skills as a Meditational Cultivator. He even joked that if she doesn't believe him, he'll have me fly a circle around her on my sword..."
At this point, Song Wei giggled. She was clearly in high spirits, likely because she saw a future where her mother could begin her own journey in Cultivation.
Both Song Wei and Ling Qingxue had been Cultivating under the protection of Xia Ruofei. They remained unaware of the brutality of the Cultivation world or the looming crisis facing it. To them, the primary benefit was improved health and a significantly longer lifespan.
Everyone wants their family members to live a long, healthy life.
Xia Ruofei smiled. "That's a solid plan. Just make sure to take it slow so we don't frighten her."
"Of course!" Song Wei agreed. "My dad said there's no rush since we've already waited this long. Plus, he won't be able to fully dedicate himself to his Cultivation for another year or two anyway..."
Xia Ruofei laughed heartily. "Is Uncle Song worried that once your mom starts Cultivating, she'll want to stay on Peach Blossom Island forever, leaving him all alone in the Three Mountains?"
Song Wei burst into laughter. "We can't rule that out! But my dad said he won't wait until retirement to tell her. He's afraid that by then, he'll be at the Golden Core stage while she's just entering the Sect. He thinks such a large gap would make her feel discouraged!"
"Uncle Song really is very considerate," Xia Ruofei noted with a grin.
"Ruofei, what have you been up to lately?" Song Wei asked. "Just because Qingxue and I aren't there doesn't mean you can get lazy with your Cultivation!"
