Sophie confronted envoy Darius at New Dawn's gate, calmly assuring him of her safety amid the camp's disciplined order. Calling him Uncle Darius, she evoked their past bond, softening his resolve. Impressed by the settlement's efficiency and Gabriel's leadership, Darius struck a deal to stay by her side until she agrees to return, which she accepted. Meanwhile, in the Stellar Kingdom, Gabriel prepared to allocate his stat points before venturing into the castle.

At the outset, Gabriel had held back from using his stat point reserves for two key factors. The primary one was his habit of assigning stats according to the circumstances.

For instance, when battling a rival boasting superior swiftness, he could direct points to rival or exceed that velocity.

The other factor was nothing elaborate, just deeply personal. Gabriel savored viewing his stat points, a novelty across both his lifetimes with such abundance. It sparked a subtle thrill and underscored his vast progress from his former existence.

Regrettably, he needed to spend them at this moment.

"It would be a long time before I get this many stat points again," he muttered.

Indeed, raiding the northern camp might provide them, but executing that was far tougher than mere talk. Countless elements and unknowns required assessment before sparking a conflict of that magnitude.

"Still, I am confident I could get more than this. Maybe even a billion," he smirked, mildly stunned by his own boldness. Amassing that many stat points meant he aimed to conquer the full human continent, unifying the Valerian Kingdom, Edgeburn, Tianlan, and more.

Shoving aside thoughts of the far-off future, he summoned his system status, the blue screen materializing in front of him.

The blue screen hovered silently before Gabriel as the room stayed hushed. Curtains drawn halfway let afternoon light seep in gently, stretching long shadows over the wooden floor. Cool air prevailed within, disturbed solely by the faint wall clock's ticking.

Gabriel gazed at the available stat points for several seconds, then lifted his hand to start allocating them.

One by one, points vanished as he carefully spread them into Strength, Agility, Perception, and Intelligence. Adding to Intelligence boosted his mana each time. Each Intelligence point yielded ten mana points, and he saw his MP climb steadily upward.

His distribution was precise, emphasizing his Berserker focus while keeping balance. Strength claimed the biggest portion, trailed by Agility, then Perception, with Intelligence last for mana needs. He refrained from dumping all at once, adjusting gradually while tracking changes until pleased.

Finally halting, he kept one hundred stat points in reserve. For safety.

Gabriel examined the refreshed stats briefly, then dismissed the status window. For an instant, nothing shifted. Then the upgrades slammed into him collectively.

Muscles tensed faintly. Breathing steadied. Senses grew keener. He picked up distant hallway footsteps, street sounds from below, and the walls' subtle electrical hum. His body felt lighter, yet every action pulsed with greater force.

Slowly, he clenched his fist. Air around his hand rippled from the pressure.

"This…" he muttered quietly.

Yet right after, a fierce pain stabbed his head.

Gabriel scowled, gripping the table side as the headache crashed like a surge. It mirrored the torment from his class advancement earlier. A profound, rending ache that clouded concentration momentarily.

Eyes squeezed shut, he stood firm, breathing deeply as pain throbbed through his skull. Brief though it was, it could drop an average person instantly.

Shortly, the pain ebbed.

Gabriel rose straight, rolling shoulders to test himself. Movements stayed measured, but he sensed right away that mastering this power would demand adjustment. This wasn't gradual yearly growth. It was elite strength lifelong trainers rarely touched.

He headed to the bathroom and grasped the handle.

Crack.

The metal handle deformed under his hold.

Gabriel froze, eyeing it before nudging the door open gingerly. The bathroom gleamed simply: white tiles, mirror, sink, glass shower zone.

He twisted the faucet.

The knob snapped in his grasp.

He stared at the busted knob, then the spurting water, holding back a facepalm.

Cautiously fixing the flow, he entered the shower. Pressing the wall for balance cracked a tile faintly. He lightened his touch at once and carried on delicately.

Even grabbing the soap warped it slightly in his fingers.

Upon finishing his bath and emerging, a towel rack bent, faucet knob shattered, and tile bore a small fracture.

Gabriel regarded the disarray silently, shook his head faintly, and intentionally adapted to his strength. He moved deliberately, lifted items tenderly, and trained precise finger pressure.

Though demanding time, he grew accustomed.

After dressing and reentering the main room, his motions seemed nearly normal once more, yet lacked prior smoothness.

At that instant, a vivid flash twisted space as Xman popped into the room's center.

"I finished it," Xman said, placing a paper on the table. "The map you asked for. The route you can use to infiltrate the castle… it's ready."
