Chen Guan encounters the King of Palace and Ji Changsheng, revealing his collaboration with the Spirit Devouring God. Ji Changsheng declares his loyalty to Chen Guan, much to the King of Palace's dismay. Chen Guan then recruits the Wind King, who is being exploited in Sky City. After securing their help, Chen Guan heads to Night Shanghai to enlist Qing Ya's aid in taking down the Tower of Destiny.

"I need you to help me with something." Chen Guan found Bu Changning and made the same request.

The Tower of Destiny can twist a person’s fate. If the Celestial Kings fail to breach it, then Qing Ya will have to try; perhaps she can deceive destiny and destroy that tower.

As for the Tower of Truth, Chen Guan believes the person most suited to conquer it might be Bu Changning.

Though it is called the Tower of Truth, it is the most bizarre and fantastical place, where it’s easy to lose oneself in illusions. Only those who can remain steadfast and recognize their true selves might avoid getting lost within it and find the core of the Tower of Truth.

Many strong individuals can remain steadfast, but recognizing oneself requires absolute clarity, something not everyone can achieve.

Bu Changning looked at Chen Guan and said, "You shouldn’t have come to me, nor should you involve yourself with me. I’m still one step away from truly becoming human."

"I’ll help you take that final step," Chen Guan replied with a smile.

"You’re not afraid?" Bu Changning asked.

"You just need to answer whether you’ll help me or not," Chen Guan said.

"As long as you’re not afraid, I can help," Bu Changning stood up and said.

Chen Guan extended his palm, intending to show gratitude, but Bu Changning stepped back and shook his head, saying, "It’s better to keep a distance until I become human."

Chen Guan smiled, withdrew his hand, and took Bu Changning away.

Chen Guan went on to find others—some for preparing to attack the Tower of the Sky, while others he wished to bring to the Celestial Secret Realm to enhance their strength.

Wind Celestial King and King Ji went to various families and shared Chen Guan’s situation with those Celestial Kings, hoping they would assist Chen Guan in attacking the Tower of the Sky.

Except for not having seen the King of Du, the other Celestial Kings expressed they would consider this matter, but they would need to meet with Chen Guan before making a decision.

Chen Guan wasn’t in a hurry to meet the Celestial Kings. Most of those he wished to invite had already accepted, but there was one person he still needed to invite, someone who hadn’t rejected his invitation in the past.

However, there was one person Chen Guan needed to invite still, someone whose agreement he wasn’t fully confident of securing.

This last person Chen Guan wished to invite was his childhood friend, little Qinghua.

Chen Guan intended to go to the Tower of the Sky personally, but someone needed to secure the other five towers. Only Qinghua’s abilities might be able to secure this particular tower.

That is the "Tower of Nothingness" among the six Towers of the Sky. According to the data provided by the Spirit Devouring God, the Tower of Nothingness is the most elusive of the Sky Towers, where everything becomes void.

History becomes void, memories become void, capabilities become void; even one’s existence will become void.

If you don’t exist, what ability do you have to break the core of the Tower of Nothingness?

In Chen Guan’s understanding, anyone entering the Tower of Nothingness might become a cripple, unable to utilize their abilities, eventually turning to void.

Only Qinghua might have the capability to break through the power of nothingness in the Tower of Nothingness, so Chen Guan must invite her.

Of course, having Qinghua on standby is merely for security. If the Celestial Kings manage to break the Tower of Nothingness, Qinghua won’t need to act.

Chen Guan wasn’t worried about Qinghua refusing, but he feared her master, the Ghost Daoist, would disagree.

When Chen Guan arrived at the Lotus Temple, he saw Feng Wuchang standing at the entrance, seemingly waiting for him.

"Brother Chen, please follow me. Master is waiting for you in the hall," Feng Wuchang said, then turned to lead the way into the temple.

Chen Guan said nothing and followed Feng Wuchang into the Lotus Temple, heading toward the hall.

The Lotus Temple appeared exceptionally quiet today; not a soul was in sight. Qinghua’s other brothers and sisters were nowhere to be seen.

Feng Wuchang led Chen Guan to the hall’s entrance and left him to push the door open himself, while he turned and left straight away.

"Observatory Master?" Chen Guan knocked on the door, softly calling out.

"Come in," came the voice of the Lotus Temple Master, who was also the Ghost Daoist, from inside.

Chen Guan pushed the door open, gazing at the Lotus Temple Master inside, and couldn’t help but pause.

The last time he saw the Lotus Temple Master, although he was old, his spirit was vibrant, giving the impression of youth.

But now, seated behind a desk, the Lotus Temple Master had not only aged visibly, but his spirit was languishing, appearing elderly and feeble, like a man near death.

"Observatory Master, what happened?" Chen Guan walked into the hall, closed the door behind him, and asked as he approached the Lotus Temple Master.

The Lotus Temple Master sat there, elbows on the desk, rubbing a Copper Coin with trembling fingers.

He didn’t answer Chen Guan’s question; he only continued rubbing the Copper Coin, staring intently at it, murmuring, "It’s wrong... this is wrong... seems like it’s mistaken... was it mistaken?"

"What’s wrong? What’s mistaken?" Chen Guan asked again.

Only then did the Lotus Temple Master raise his gaze to Chen Guan and say, "For years, I’ve tried to alter his fate. Indeed, his fate has changed significantly, and in the past two years, he has completely escaped the pattern of the Demon Star entering the palace."

Although the Lotus Temple Master didn’t say who "he" was, Chen Guan knew full well who he was referring to.

"Isn’t that a positive thing?" Chen Guan asked.

"It was positive initially, but after he escaped the pattern of the Demon Star entering the palace, I divined again, and found that the light of the Demon Star hasn’t dimmed; it has intensified instead," the Lotus Temple Master said, looking at Chen Guan.

"That’s just normal, isn’t it? Fate is hard to defy. When the moon shrinks, it compensates elsewise. If he isn’t the Demon Child any longer, destiny requires someone else to become the Demon Child," Chen Guan said.

The Lotus Temple Master shook his head and said, "No, when the pattern of the Demon Star is broken, the original Demon Star ceases to be the Demon Star. If a new Demon Child is born, then there should appear a new Demon Star corresponding to them, not this current situation."

"What’s going on then?" Chen Guan asked calmly.

"I have divined countless times, and explored countless possibilities. There is only one explanation: I was initially mistaken; he is not the true Demon Star," the Lotus Temple Master said, his voice trembling as he clutched the Copper Coin tightly.

"How could you possibly be wrong? You are the Ghost Daoist," Chen Guan replied.

"I didn’t believe I could be wrong initially, but facts are facts—I was wrong." The Ghost Daoist’s voice was slightly hoarse. "While attempting to change fate, I overlooked perhaps being a part of fate myself; what I sought to change might be the direction fate was meant to go."

"Chen Guan, your Celestial Destiny Star is the Savior, isn’t it?" the Ghost Daoist asked suddenly, fixing his gaze on Chen Guan.

"That’s correct." Chen Guan nodded slightly.

"Would you let me divine your fate?" The Ghost Daoist seemed to breathe slightly heavier.

"Why divine my fate?" Chen Guan frowned and asked.

"The Demon Star was mistaken, and I’m afraid I may have miscalculated something else," the Ghost Daoist said, looking intently at Chen Guan.
