God of Pets Chapter 970: Half-Day Pavilion

The cultures and civilizations are different; they cannot comprehend Ji Changsheng’s model of power, thus making it difficult to respond.
Now exposed by Chen Guan, taking advantage of Ji Changsheng’s slight turn, Long Yue seemed to teleport to the Sky Walkway.
Ji Changsheng glanced at Long Yue, silently backed off, and no longer obstructed.
Long Yue rejoiced inwardly, looked at Mi Xiang and Chen Guan, and said loudly, "Come up, we have to go to the next level."
Mi Xiang thought Long Yue still needed her help and said after thinking, "We’ve already reached here, I promised to help you and won’t back out, let’s go together, let him stay here and wait for us to come back."
Had it been before, Mi Xiang’s words would have stopped Long Yue from insisting.
But now, Long Yue knew Chen Guan had capabilities beyond her comprehension, perhaps might aid her, she was naturally unwilling to leave Chen Guan behind.
If she had to take one between Chen Guan and Mi Xiang now, Long Yue would hesitate for a long time, unable to decide.
Long Yue was sensible; she didn’t pass the responsibility to Chen Guan, just said, "Since we’re here, let him follow and experience it, rest assured, I won’t make it difficult for him, he can leave whenever he wants."
"Are you going?" Mi Xiang looked at Chen Guan and asked.
"Going to experience it is good." Chen Guan nodded slightly.
"Stay by my side, don’t stray too far." Mi Xiang instructed.
Chen Guan responded and followed Mi Xiang onto the Sky Walkway; the three headed along the path toward the highest Sky Garden.
From afar, it seemed like a large garden, while arriving at its base revealed the garden’s layered structure akin to a Sky City, supported only by a thin spire beneath, worrying whether it could sustain such weight without collapsing at any moment.
The walkway stretched from the tip of the spire to the entrance below the Sky Garden; when the trio reached the middle, they saw a pavilion built there, a Secret Spirit sitting inside.
Chen Guan focused his gaze, noting the Secret Spirit surprisingly bore some resemblance to Mi Xiang, both being beauties with human torsos and serpent tails.
A closer look revealed differences; the woman’s lower half was not a serpent tail but a fish tail, adorned with golden armor on her upper body, leaving much of her fair chest exposed, seemingly lacking any protection.
She lingered at the pavilion’s edge, her fish tail casually dangling outside the walkway, gently swaying, stirring the mist swirling beyond the path.
She held a delicate, petite golden harp in her embrace, her slender fingers casually strumming it, the music echoing, lingering.
Chen Guan didn’t recognize this Secret Spirit. Mi Xiang and Long Yue’s expressions shifted upon seeing her.
"Mo Qin, why are you here?" Long Yue asked intently, her eyes fixed on the mermaid.
The mermaid paused her finger from plucking the golden strings, looking at Long Yue saying, "I am ordered to guard the Sky Walkway, if you wish to pass, you must defeat me."
"Where is the Secret Spirit that guards here? You are the king of the Dual Celestial Fish Race, you shouldn’t be here." Long Yue questioned.
"Since I’m here, there must be a reason, no need for more words. If you can surpass the Half-Day Pavilion, you may continue to the Sky Garden," Mo Qin said calmly, willing to say no more.
"Is she strong?" Chen Guan transmitted to Mi Xiang beside him.
Judging by Long Yue’s expression, she seemed highly reluctant to battle Mo Qin.
"The Dual Celestial Fish Race is one of the most powerful races in the Celestial Secret Realm, their current king, Mo Qin, is claimed to be undefeatable," Mi Xiang’s expression grew solemn.
Guarding the Sky Walkway was the least expected individual.
"Isn’t claiming undefeatable a bit exaggerated?" Chen Guan transmitted.
"Not at all, the Dual Celestial Fish Race is dubbed the Reverse Flowers; they possess the power to reverse matter’s motion, and Mo Qin is the strongest ever reverse flower of the race..." Mi Xiang explained briefly.
Chen Guan understood Mi Xiang’s meaning, interpreting from a human cultural perspective, Mo Qin possessed temporal powers, even able to reverse time.
Moreover, Mo Qin’s capabilities weren’t limited to this; she could attack the past and future. How could one possibly defeat her?
Understanding Mo Qin’s abilities, Chen Guan furrowed his brows involuntarily.
If your opponent could attack you from a second ago, that would be terrifying enough, let alone Mo Qin attacking you from the next second, possibly beyond. Overcoming her is likely difficult.
"Today, nobody can stop me from entering the Sky Garden," Long Yue’s eyes turned resolute, the divine golden glow once again enveloped her.
However, this time, she didn’t deliberately use flawless power; the dreadful divine light tore through space, extending towards Mo Qin, as if the sky curtains cracked, converging onto Mo Qin from all directions.
Mo Qin held the golden harp crosswise, surprisingly utilizing it like a bow and arrow, her fingers hooking one string, forcefully pulling.
The golden brilliance transformed into a golden light arrow between her fingers, released into a golden light stream as her fingers relaxed.
Long Yue swiftly moved her steps, dodging afar; the golden light arrow vanished into the void.
Yet the next second, Long Yue screamed, half-kneeling on the ground.
A golden light arrow was embedded in her left thigh, mysteriously appearing there as if out of thin air.
"Long Yue, return, being part of the Celestial Secret Realm, it’s the Virgo Race’s duty to contribute," Mo Qin said indifferently.
Long Yue remained silent, her palm erupted with power, pulling out the golden light arrow, crushed into fragments, standing up simultaneously.
"Our Virgo Race can contribute, but nobody can force us," Long Yue’s divine glow intensified, space fracturing like a cobweb around her as she steadily advanced toward the Half-Day Pavilion.
Mo Qin once again pulled the string, firing another golden light arrow toward Long Yue.
This time, Long Yue did not dodge, knowing it was impossible to avoid.
The golden light arrows disappeared in the fractured space, yet on Long Yue’s other leg appeared another golden light arrow, piercing straight through her thigh.
Long Yue didn’t stop, pushing forward, her internal formidable power shattered the arrow upon her leg.
As Long Yue advanced, Mo Qin’s fingers swept over all strings, a series of golden light arrows appeared out of nothing, shooting toward Long Yue.
Instantly, Long Yue’s form was pierced by arrow after arrow, penetrating her arms, legs, chest, abdomen, the final arrow appearing out of nowhere, puncturing straight through her head, directly between her brows.
Like a golden porcupine, Long Yue not only didn’t halt but accelerated toward the Half-Day Pavilion.
In mere moments, the golden arrows shattered, and she stormed past the Half-Day Pavilion.
Yet, the instant she breached the pavilion, Long Yue remained placed at her arrival at the Half-Day Pavilion.
"Mo Qin, why are you here?" Long Yue expressed surprise, staring at Mo Qin.
Chen Guan and Mi Xiang looked at each other, shocked internally, Long Yue appeared to have returned to the time when she first arrived.
