Global Gods : Skill-Resonance Awakened Chapter 1: Ch 1 : Healthy Start

Sunny's eyelids parted gradually, revealing the bewildering vision of his body drifting through the boundless void of space.

In front of him, a luminous blue sphere, fully enveloped in water, gleamed brightly. "Where am I? Wow, how can I speak in space?" he pondered, a surge of astonishment flooding him as he discovered he could breathe and converse in the empty void.

Right when his mind started to drift, an unexpected voice yanked him back to the present.

[Please check your Status to see your God-Talent.]

Sunny's expression stiffened briefly before a soft laugh bubbled from his mouth. "A God-Talent, huh? Let's check it out. Status!"

A transparent blue interface popped up right in his view, showing a holographic display of info.

[God Name: unnamed]

[Planet Name: unnamed]

[LifeForms: 0]

[Talent: Skill-Resonance (SSS-Grade)]

[Faith: 10]

[Please enter Your God Name...]

"Hey system! I want to check my talent first," Sunny cut in, his eyes locked on that impressive SSS-grade label.

As a dedicated homebody and avid novel fan, he recognized that SSS-grade marked the ultimate level of strength.

Yet another interface shimmered into existence, providing an in-depth explanation of his special power.

[Talent Name: Skill-Resonance]

[Grade: SSS]

[Description: Can copy any talent or skill of any life-form in your territory at the end of every 100 planetary years.]

Sunny inhaled sharply, his eyes bulging as he took in the details.

He had anticipated a remarkable SSS-grade talent, yet seeing its capabilities up close hit differently. "Once every 100 years feels quite lengthy," he muttered, his attention shifting to his aquatic world.

Being a fresh god, he had a natural sense of every part of his domain, and right now, no creatures existed there.

"There are no life forms on this planet. Doesn't that make my talent pointless right from the beginning, only gaining strength once beings appear?" he thought out loud. "But creating life requires millions of years, and even longer for evolution.

This truly is a weak talent early on." Even with the early disadvantage, Sunny stayed optimistic.

He grasped the tremendous potential of his ability if he managed it wisely as a deity.

"So, what should I pick for my God name?" Sunny considered briefly.

"Cosmos," he stated firmly, selecting a title that suggested the cosmos, harmony, and vast magnitude.

[God name (Cosmos) selected]

[Please name your planet...]

"Veridia," Sunny proclaimed, imagining a realm bursting with verdant foliage.

The name, rooted in "verdant," suggested thriving vitality, endless expansion, and diverse ecosystems.

"Let's explore what other features are available," Sunny decided, refocusing on the interface.

He spotted two more choices: "God Chat" and "Transaction Space."

Tapping "God Chat" unveiled a lively feed, with thousands of posts racing across it each moment.

"Alice, are you also transmigrated here? If you see this message, PM me!"

"Tom, if you see this message, PM me!"

Numerous people were frantically hunting for family, and a few were reconnecting in the turmoil.

Sunny, who had been an orphan from a young age on the "Blue Planet," had nobody to contact, so he shut the chat window.

"It'll take them some time to regain their composure.

Let's look at the Transaction Space next." He selected the "Transaction Space" option, but another notice appeared.

[Transaction Space will be available after opening of the world]

[Time Left: 5 min 3 sec]

With nothing more to investigate at the moment, Sunny's eyes returned to the active chat area.

"Hah! I've become a God now, but my planet is barren, like Mars, with nothing but red soil and tiny ice patches here and there."

"Upstairs, that's still a good start! My planet is filled with nothing but sand. How can it evolve life forms? Any bigshots with knowledge of bi-life, please help me!"

"I don't think anyone will tell you how to form life. What I'm thinking is, life forms take millions of years to form, even in good life-supporting conditions. What will we do until then? Chat idly?"

"Upstairs, according to my knowledge from different novels, it's possible that the time flow on the planet will be many times faster than our time."

"We'll know about all that later. But did you guys know I got an S-grade talent?" A post from a player called Kairos briefly paused the torrent of messages, sparking a rush of questions about his ability.

"Hello, bigshot! Can you share what talent you got? I have an F-grade talent which increases the percentage of developing blacksmiths in my life forms."

"Hehe, check this screenshot," Kairos wrote, including a picture.

Sunny viewed the attached image, which showed the talent info:

[Talent Name: Time Accelerate x10]

[Grade: S]

[Description: In your territory, the time flow is 10 times more than others.]

"Holy moly! Are we even playing the same game? What is this luck? Bigshot, do you need a maid?"

"Upstairs, are you a girl? Can I PM you?"

Sunny scowled while examining Kairos's talent. "System, are you sure my talent is SSS-grade? Can I get this S-grade talent instead of mine?" He let out a sigh.

He realized his own talent held great power, but a 10x time acceleration appeared much more practical and could speed up his world's development by ten times.

"Sigh! Considering my watery realm, I suppose I have a solid beginning unlike some," Sunny reflected, staring at his budding planet.
