The United Fleet of All Heavens Star Sea launched a full-scale assault into the Bottomless Abyss, facing a prepared and brutal defense. To prevent the Abyssal Demons from completing a dimensional jump, the fleet initiated a desperate 'Pierce Through' plan, sacrificing lower-level forces to carve a path for their elite troops toward the 'Returning Ruins Abyss'. The vanguard then breached the 'Molten Hell Abyss' layer, encountering the formidable Flame Demon and Demon armies.

Furthermore, a substantial contingent at the vanguard of the Demon Clan’s forces comprises the Buddha Soldiers of the Shi Clan.

These entities, which ought to radiate solemnity and Buddha’s light, are now cloaked in spectral demonic qi, their golden radiance twisted into a dark, malevolent glow.

The compassion once evident in their eyes has vanished, replaced by a desolate, fanatical distortion. The demon-subduing pestles they wield are now defiled, their prayer beads strung with bones, and their chants have devolved from the Enlightenment Scripture to the blasphemous Abyssal Magic Spell.

These former staunch guardians of the Starry Sea’s order, unable to even preserve their essence and legacy after the Torch Civilization’s demise, were instead corrupted by the abyssal demon qi. Enslaved by the Heart Stealing Demon, they have become terrifying weapons turned against their own allies and homeland. The psychological devastation wrought by this is more crushing than the terror inspired by the demons themselves.

"For the Starry Sea! For survival! Annihilate them!!"

The alliance commander’s guttural roar pierced the air, pushing back the oppressive weight in his heart. There was no time for sorrow, no space for doubt.

In the ensuing moment, the cacophony of clashing steel and rending flesh erupted.

The Titan Giants’ Thunder Battle Hammer formations, imbued with immense power, crashed into the Flame Demon ranks. The resulting explosions of thunder and fire cleared swaths of the enemy, yet more Flame Demons surged forward, their burning bodies consuming the thunder’s energy.

The Eternal Clan’s Starlight Barrier shimmered violently under the onslaught of the Demon Sea. Countless Low Rank Demons, like moths to a fatal flame, impacted the barrier, disintegrating upon contact, but their destruction leached energy from the shield. Even more formidable Balrog Flame Demons, wielding colossal Beheading Giant Swords, struck the barrier with crushing force, sending shockwaves across the heavens.

Star Mages from the Source Star Divine Hall unleashed devastating Starlight Beams, descending upon the Buddha Soldier demon formation like celestial retribution, incinerating the demonized Arhats and Bodhisattvas individually. However, these corrupted Buddha Soldiers retaliated with the eerily potent Abyssal Buddha Curse. The vile demonic light corroded the alliance warriors’ armor and spirits, even twisting the fundamental laws to abruptly seize control of powerful warships and turn their own cannons upon friendly forces.

The Mechanical Legion, dispatched from the Mechanical Nest, operated with ruthless efficiency, reaping demon lives. Yet, the intense heat generated by Flame Demons could melt specialized alloys, and the demons' erratic attacks often bypassed physical defenses to sabotage precise mechanical components. Worse still, the Enlightenment Demonic Light from the Demonized Buddha Soldiers possessed the terrifying capability to infect the very intelligence cores of these machines, inducing immediate betrayal.

Sacrifices were occurring with relentless frequency.

A mothership belonging to a lesser civilization deliberately self-destructed, ramming a Flame Demon Lord to create an opening for the Titan Legion advancing behind it. The resulting brilliant fireball briefly illuminated the oppressive darkness of the abyss, but at the cost of ten thousand crew members.

A squadron of Elf Race Starry Sky Knights, tasked with defending the Source Star Divine Hall’s Mage Team as they channeled a Grand Forbidden Spell, formed a desperate final spearhead. They held their position against the surging Demon Sea’s assault, only to be ultimately overwhelmed and torn apart by the frenzied demons. Their sacrifice secured the crucial three seconds needed for the Forbidden Spell’s completion.

A seasoned Wizard Dominator from the Wizard Civilization piloted his alchemical mechanical fortress directly into a demonized Shi Clan Arhat, choosing mutual annihilation.

The Molten Hell Abyss had truly transformed into a brutal charnel house.

The lava churned, stained a grotesque dark purple by spilled blood. The ground was a ruin of shattered warships, demon corpses, and the scattered remains of warriors from every race. Explosive fire, ethereal magic, and energy clashes ebbed and flowed, casting a flickering, unstable light upon this section of the abyss.

The air vibrated with roars, detonations, the shriek of energy discharges, and the death rattles of the mortally wounded… a grim symphony of destruction.

An almost unbearable miasma hung in the air, a horrid blend of blood, sulfur, and the acrid stench of burnt flesh.

The very fabric of reality here had become unstable and frail; spatial rifts would flicker into existence without warning, devouring all nearby matter.

Inch by agonizing inch, the Alliance Army pressed onward toward the abyssal passage leading to the next dimension. They were paving their path with lives, carving out routes with their very souls through this hellish landscape.

Every step was drenched in blood and paid for with sacrifice, yet all knew this was merely the prelude. Beyond the Molten Hell Abyss lay even more horrifying abyssal strata, but not a single soul faltered. For in this desolate expanse, there was no path for retreat.

Instead of allowing the abyss to fully ascend, thereby plundering a significant portion of the All Heavens Star Sea's fortune and essence, which would inevitably lead to the ruin and vanishing of numerous civilizations in epochs to come, they choose to fight until their last breath. This unwavering conviction is precisely what fuels the All Heavens Star Sea Alliance Army's sustained assault to this point. However, advancing further remains an exceptionally arduous task. The Abyss Demon Race's defense is equally fervent and unyielding, with the bellowing of Flame Demons, the guttural cries of other demons, and the strange Brahman chants of demonized Buddha Soldiers all merging into a cacophony. They leverage the environmental advantage of the abyss, ceaselessly emerging from lava flows, fissures, and the contorted void, appearing inexhaustible. Intense, grinding battles rage across every fiery peak and along every flowing river of molten rock. As time wears on, countless fleets from medium and small civilizations, along with auxiliary race legions originally deployed as expendable forces, are practically annihilated. Debris from warships drifts within the lava, and the skeletal remains of warriors from every conceivable race litter the scorched earth, deepening the dark red of the abyss with a more desperate, ochre hue. Finally, on this particular day, a stark and absolute command, transmitted via specialized superdimensional communication channels, was directly relayed to the command center of the Torch Civilization Expedition Fleet.
