"Truly, a hassle!" Song Chi kept his face steady, as he had foreseen this turn of events.

The Space-Time Nether Brilliance Dragon struck back with lightning speed, its wings beating rapidly to create a hazy outline that looked like it was in four places at once. Its claws ripped open the emptiness, weaving together forces of time speedup and space slicing, targeting the White Bone Giants along with the pair of warships.

Szzzt!

In a flash, severe gashes opened up on the enormous frames of the White Bone Giants, where the Time Power swirled around the injuries, blocking their powerful bone regeneration during combat.

For the two Mythical Immortal Ships, the energy barriers covering their hulls wavered wildly, almost getting ripped to shreds.

Within the dragon's eyes, the fury faded away, giving place to an icy contempt typical of a superior hunter, since the assault was effortlessly blocked by the space-time shield.

Once more, the dragon's wings beat, shifting in and out of real and illusory voids, materializing right over one White Bone Giant's skull.

"Time Slowdown!"

A hidden force field wrapped around this White Bone Giant right away, making its raised bone blade motion feel crushed under a slowdown multiplied by ten thousand, crawling along as if completely halted.

From its almost stalled viewpoint, the Nether Brilliance Dragon's claw, laced with "Space Cutting Power", struck its cranium at regular time pace, glowing with a menacing purple-golden shine.

Crack!

A sharp breaking noise rang out, as fissures spread across the huge skull of the White Bone Giant, exposing the soul fire inside, while raging Space Power chewed away relentlessly, stopping the cracks from mending. Even worse was the lingering "Time Imprint", which slowed every move of this White Bone Giant to a crawl, as though weighed down by the endless burden of space-time.

The second White Bone Giant bellowed as it rushed to aid its companion, converting Death Energy into a barrage of bone spears that flew chaotically, yet the Nether Brilliance Dragon merely shot a chilly look, whipping its tail to sweep the area—not striking outright but folding the void into a space crease.

Every bone spear that hit this crease area plunged into what felt like an endless pit, twisted and rerouted by force, incredibly turning back to aim at the two Heavenly Ruins Cang Qiong vessels.

"Time Acceleration!"

The Nether Brilliance Dragon parted its jaws, unleashing yet another stream of purple-golden energy straight at the Mirror Image of the Heavenly Ruins Sky Dome.

The Mirror Image Warship, covered by this energy, experienced a surge in its Energy Shield flow, onboard systems' workings, and even the buildup of its strikes speeding up by hundreds of folds in an instant.

But this effect was short-lived, because the strong time countermeasures from the ship's devices [Time Chess Board] and [Blessing of the Time God King] quickly nullified the time laws imposed on the vessel's structure.

Despite that, the fight had completely fallen under the Space-Time Nether Brilliance Dragon's tempo, graceful and deadly like a dancer of space-time gliding across the field of battle.

Spatial Imprisonment!

As the White Bone Giant's strikes were closing in, the dragon's claw seized the emptiness, immediately "locking" the space there, causing the White Bone Giant's movements to freeze up suddenly, like being stuck in an unseen swamp.

It could even summon its own space-time illusions briefly, ones that held some striking force and were hard to tell apart, drawing heavy fire while its real form delivered deadly blows from unexpected directions.

Now and then, hits broke through its guard and hit the scales, but it reversed the local time to restore the damage to its pre-wound state. Though it drained a lot, this was sufficient to counter most threats, making it seem nearly impossible to take down.

Though the two White Bone Giants held tremendous power, they were played like toys in its grasp, covered in wounds and limited in their motions.

The bulk of the warships' barrages hit nothing or got pushed aside, unable to build up proper joint attacks.

Noticing the situation, Song Chi moved fast, as both Heavenly Ruins Cang Qiong ships lit up with rainbow hues. Right after, a swarm of rainbow chess pieces assembled over the ships, rapidly forming two massive phantom rainbow chessboards.

[Time Chess Board]· "Time·Chessboard!"

Backed by their personal Time Domains, the two White Bone Giants appeared freed, shifting about without hindrance from the odd time effects of the Space-Time Nether Brilliance Dragon.

As for the enemy's Spatial Power, Song Chi duplicated and advanced [Soul Devouring Altar] into [Heaven and Earth Sealing Tower], then deployed a multicolored sealing barrier that enclosed the dragon and the rest, pushing the curbs on the foe's Spatial Power to the max.

Following these steps, the Space-Time Nether Brilliance Dragon faced serious restrictions, yet its inborn bloodline skills were elite. Even with its key space and time abilities curbed, wrapping up the clash quickly remained a tough challenge.

Facing a drawn-out stalemate without breakthroughs, and with the multicolored sealing barrier weakening more under the fight's fallout, on the verge of total collapse, Song Chi realized he had no room to wait. A resolute glint sparked in his gaze, and he promptly triggered the Mirror Image Warship's ultimate technique.

"Twelve Lives Life and Death Chess, begin!"

It let out a furious roar, trying to shake it off with its mighty build, but found this power, loaded with ultimate death and destruction, stuck to it like a bone-deep parasite, and despite all resistance, it refused to leave—instead, it burst wildly inside.

Suddenly, a horrifying Power of Death wrapped its whole dragon body, and the immense life force of the Upper Dragon Race started draining away fast at that point.

But the end was still distant.

The Eleventh Rank Space-Time Nether Brilliance Dragon proved too formidable; this opening move of the Life and Death Chess only sapped less than a fifth of its vitality.

"Twelve Lives Life and Death Chess, trigger once more!"

The next "Death Chess" fell, clearly cutting down the dragon's strength.

The third, the fourth...

Upon the fifth "Death Chess" force detonating inside, the Space-Time Nether Brilliance Dragon unleashed a cry of alarm and rage.

It sensed five unseen peaks crushing it, sharply dropping its strength, quickness, and toughness, particularly its grasp and handling of the Power of Space-Time, as the nearby space-time waves grew sparse and jumbled, stripping away the natural control it had enjoyed.

"The moment has come!"

Song Chi had anticipated exactly this, and on the Heavenly Ruins Cang Qiong, shifted to the "Immortal Godslaying Cannon" mode via the [Slaying Immortal Sword Formation], the barrel had amassed that doomsday chaos hue.

"Absolute Hit!" A hundred million Spectral Energy Points vanished, enforcing a cause-effect bind that ignored time-space on the badly hurt Nether Brilliance Dragon.

"High-dimensional Chaos Annihilation Strike!" Fifty billion Spectral Energy Points blasted out.

That chaos sword beam, bypassing range and order, emerged anew.

This round, the space-time wall from the Space-Time Nether Brilliance Dragon seemed as weak as tissue against the sword beam, getting punctured in no time.

It tried a space-time leap to dodge, but with the "Absolute Hit" binding, every escape attempt failed miserably.

The chaos sword beam struck true into its dragon body.

No blast followed, just pure obliteration.

The Nether Brilliance Dragon's huge form shook violently, its life essence leaking out like a dam break, the brilliant dragon gaze fading swiftly, and the overbearing space-time Power surges around it flickering out like a dying flame.

As the chaos sword beam's force faded, the Space-Time Nether Brilliance Dragon floated feebly amid the stars, its life signs faint as glowing bugs.

By then, over ninety-nine percent of its vital energy was gone.

Luckily, Song Chi held back on extra strikes like the "Hunting God’s Weakness Mark", "Black Hole·Singularity Sacrificial Explosion", "Origin Star’s Origin Core", and steered clear of its vital spots; else, this Space-Time Nether Brilliance Dragon could have been utterly destroyed.

Aboard the Heavenly Ruins Cang Qiong, the [Heavenly Authority Control Ring] blazed with light, firing a potent soul brand. Yet first, Song Chi invoked the [Song of Divine Favor] duplicate, boosting the odds of domination greatly this round.

"Absolute Enslavement!"

After a brief fight, the soul brand from the Heavenly Authority Control Ring solidified.

In the Space-Time Nether Brilliance Dragon's dulled eyes, signs of yielding and loyalty finally appeared.

Song Chi sensed the fourth Mythical Enslavement Mark via the soul connection (Asura Emperor, Dragon Spine Tyrant Whale, War Puppet Mother Tree, Space-Time Nether Brilliance Dragon), letting out a deep breath of relief.

This mighty adversary, who nearly ruled the domain with Power of Space-Time, ended up tamed by him at last.
