The Eleventh Rank Gray Mist Energy Body emitted a frustrated shriek, its enveloping gray mist surging wildly to the max, as if gearing up for one last desperate fight.
Yet, the two Void Demon Grand Dukes countered by unleashing their most focused waves of destruction, combined with the Primordial Emperor Insect's ultimate suicidal blast right before it broke apart.

At that instant, the broken remnants of the Primordial Emperor Insect turned into the rawest, fiercest form of Mythical Energy Source, bursting forth in a massive surge.
This went beyond a basic blast of power; it represented the total unleashing of its Life Origin and Rule Fragments, the self-destruction of a Tenth Rank Mythical Creature, strong enough to badly injure peers of its level and pose a danger to those even stronger.
The Eleventh Rank Gray Mist Energy Body, taking the full force of it, saw its Seven-Colored Shield—backed by the Immortal Slaying Array Map Strange Object—develop major fissures from this dual inner and outer barrage, particularly the devastating burst from the Primordial Emperor Insect's last stand. The shield wavered intensely, its glow alternating between faint and bright, leading to a minor scattering of its inner gray mist form.

The two Void Demon Grand Dukes and Song Chi, united in purpose, refused to let this brief chance for a killing blow slip away.
They bellowed, channeling the strength from igniting the Enslavement Mark and the built-up savage force from just taking down four mighty enemies into their joint assault ahead.
One Void Demon Grand Duke wielded a supreme Void Annihilation Wave, which swallowed light itself, wrapped around its razor-sharp claws, as the other gaped its huge jaws to unleash a Destruction Light Sphere, formed from Space Rules. Each strike landed exactly on the same weak spot of the fractured Seven-Colored Shield, coming from opposite sides.
Crack—Boom!
A sharp breaking noise came first, then a thunderous blast.
The supposedly unbreakable Seven-Colored Shield broke into pieces at last, scattering into a cascade of glowing shards across the sky.
As the Shield crumbled, the Eleventh Rank Gray Mist Energy Body unleashed a shrill, hopeless cry. The Array Map Strange Object it clutched blazed up, making a final bid for defense by calling forth four massive phantom sword silhouettes to shield it.
But without the mightiest Defense Array's safeguard and battered by nonstop strikes, its efforts seemed weak and futile against the all-out frenzy of two equals in rank, the Void Demons.
The Void Demon's claws brushed aside the sword shadow slashes, pushing forward unyieldingly into the heart of the gray mist, driven by an irresistible drive to destroy.
The other Rule Light Sphere swiftly broke down the gray mist's shape and the intent locked inside it.
"Roar!"
A final, resounding roar escaped as the essence of the Eleventh Rank Gray Mist Energy Body got ripped out by force, manifesting as a writhing, fiercely resistant orb of gray light.
At the same time, the illusory Seven-Colored Array Map in its grasp let out a sorrowful wail before its light faded away completely, shifting from ghostly to somewhat solid, resembling an old scroll now firmly held in the other claw of the Void Demon Grand Duke.

Nearly simultaneously as the top gray mist energy body fell, the outer Rule Shielding Field hit its breaking point.
With a soft "puff," the inverted Seven-Colored Streamer Huge Bowl popped like a soap bubble, dissolving into nothingness.
The view at the battlefield's heart reemerged beneath the Immortal Realm Continent's Vault of Heaven, showing just the two scarred Void Demon Grand Dukes, their savagery even more intense, shrouded in thick Gray Mist Origin. Their fresh loot, however, had already disappeared from sight.
"Retrieve!"
Spotting this from afar in the Silent Extinction Shattered Star Belt, Song Chi didn't waver and promptly sent the command through the Soul Link.
Right away, the two Void Demon Grand Dukes, branded with a Divine Thought Seal, morphed into twin streaks of light, speeding past the Vault of Heaven.
"Stay for this king!!!"
But a furious, chilling voice rang out from overhead first, and a enormous dark claw, blotting out the heavens, had thrust from the heart of a Space Vortex Channel, lunging straight for the two Void Demon Grand Dukes.
