Global Era of Star trekking Chapter 1774: 865: [Eternal Ancestor Domain] (2)
Previously on Global Era of Star trekking...
The Starry Sky Base Station was forged entirely from Eternal Divine Gold, its exterior shimmering with the flow of countless enigmatic runes. The structure’s durability was so immense that even the focused assault of a Tenth Rank Mythical Creature would struggle to leave a dent on its primary frame. This architectural marvel stood as a silent testament to the absolute authority and majesty of the Eternal Clan.
“So, this is the Eternal Ancestor Domain…”
Song Chi’s eyes darted around as he took in the sight. He observed tens of thousands of Teleportation Gates drifting within the station, each acting as a gateway to various Star Domains. It was a clear display of the Eternal Clan’s iron grip over the Shattered Starry Sea.
Michael unfurled his thirty-six wings, his divine radiance appearing even more brilliant against the polished Eternal Divine Gold.
“Should we proceed with the plan and contact that Eternal Son first?”
Nodding, Song Chi retrieved an object from his pocket—the communication token previously gifted to him by Luo Jia.
As he funneled Spectral Energy into the crystal, the token ignited into a beam of light. It streaked out of the base station, vanishing rapidly into the dark, infinite reaches of the void.
This sudden energy signature did not go unnoticed by the denizens of the Starry Sky Base Station.
“How curious, a little brat from the Torch Human Clan has arrived.”
A languid voice resonated from all sides. In the center of the station, the void rippled and warped as a towering figure stepped into view.
The stranger possessed silver hair and purple eyes, with an Eternal Divine Crystal embedded in his brow that radiated a subtle yet unmistakable mythical pressure.
Though the aura was restrained, Song Chi was certain that the figure before him was a Tenth Rank Mythical member of the Eternal Clan.
The fact that a Mythical Creature was stationed here merely to guard a teleportation hub spoke volumes about the Eternal Clan’s vast resources.
Without delay, Song Chi and Michael offered a respectful greeting:
“Michael of the Angel Civilization and Song Chi of the Torch Civilization offer their respects to Lord Tros of the Eternal Clan.”
Before venturing into Eternal Clan space, the duo had done extensive research. They were capable of recognizing the dozen or so mythical icons the Eternal Clan allowed the public to know of.
Distinct from other races, members of the Eternal Clan who ascended to the Tenth Rank did not use the title of gods; instead, they were known by the prestigious title of Eternal Master.
The individual standing before them, Lord Tros, was one such master.
Eternal Master Tros gave a slight nod, a spectral light flickering within his violet eyes:
“Luo Jia is presently in seclusion within the Eternal Holy Hall. You have arrived at an inconvenient time.”
He moved his fingers through the air, tracing the intricate path of an Eternal Divine Rune.
“Still… given that you possess his personal token, I shall assume you are not foes of the Eternal Clan.”
Song Chi and Michael traded looks but remained silent, waiting for Tros to continue.
“Come with me.”
With a gesture from Tros, the three moved toward the station’s inner sanctum, leaving the supporting personnel of both clans to wait in the outer docks.
While traversing the core, Song Chi saw numerous Eternal Clan soldiers recalibrating massive machinery. These apparatuses looked like Star Gates, yet they emitted a rhythmic pulse that filled him with an instinctive sense of dread.
“Those are Eternal Star Anchors.”
Tros provided the explanation without looking back:
“They are designed to lock down the spatial fabric of an entire Star Domain…” He paused, adding with intent, “The Chaos Divine Land has been quite turbulent of late.”
Song Chi kept his face neutral, showing no shock. The recent disturbances in the Chaos Divine Land were common knowledge. Even if the Eternal Clan avoided the politics of Origin Star, they were certainly monitoring the Chaos Divine Land’s actions.
After bypassing a Seven-layered Space Barrier, a magnificent Holy Hall appeared, suspended in the vacuum of space.
The structure was built from 99,999 Eternal Divine Crystals, with each crystal housing a perfected Origin Law. At the hall’s peak, thick clouds of the Power of Origin Rules swirled lazily.
“Wait here.”
Tros escorted them to a side chamber before transforming into a streak of light and vanishing into the primary hall.
Shortly after, Song Chi and Michael were led into the central war room of the Eternal Holy Hall.
There, alongside Tros, sat another Eternal Master. This was Luo Cha, an Eleventh Rank powerhouse who held the second-highest position of authority in the clan, surpassed only by the Twelfth Rank patriarch.
Recognizing Elder Luo Cha, the duo realized that since a direct meeting with the transcendent patriarch was unlikely, Luo Cha was the highest-ranking official they could hope to negotiate with, possessing full authority to act for the clan.
The data for five Civilization Background Level items was projected into the air:
The Twelve All Heaven Gods and Demons Talisman, the Pen of Truth, the Barbarian Ancestor Battle Seal, the Eye of Holy Judgment, and the Blood of the Rakshasa Ancestor.
Even for an Elder of the Eternal Clan, a flicker of interest appeared in Luo Cha’s eyes as he surveyed the treasures.
The Eternal Clan’s heritage was profound, and their Secret Vault was surely filled with similar wonders, but no powerhouse would turn away more high-level resources.
Crucially, Song Chi and Michael had clarified that they only sought a formal statement from the Eternal Clan’s transcendent patriarch, not his participation in a Twelfth Rank transcendental war. This made the deal highly attractive.
However, before a word could be spoken, the Holy Hall shuddered violently.
“Boom——”
The very fabric of space was shredded as a Titan Giant, standing billions of kilometers tall, forced its way through the void.
Wrapped in arcs of golden lightning, every step the giant took caused the Eternal Divine Crystal floor to hairline fracture. Perched upon its shoulder were the Green Rule Wizard and several others.
“Old man, how goes the haggling?”
The Titan Giant’s voice boomed like a massive bell, causing the hall to vibrate.
The phantom projection of the Eternal Elder manifested in the air, letting out a cold huff:
“Tyson, you are being intrusive.”
The Eleventh Rank Titan Giant gave a thunderous laugh and tossed an object forward.
The Barbarian Ancestor Battle Seal floated in mid-air, its glow intensified by the surrounding crystals.
“My people want this. How about this deal—”
He looked over the assembly, his voice echoing through the heavens:
“The transcendent patriarchs of both our clans will issue a joint statement in support of your Five Races. In exchange, you must provide one more Civilization Background Level Strange Object, bringing the total to six. The Titan Giant Clan and the Eternal Clan will then take three each. What do you say?”
Song Chi and the four others exchanged quick, silent glances, but no one spoke immediately.
A heavy silence filled the chamber.
To have the transcendents of both the Eternal and Titan Giant Clans speak as one would be a massive boon. Their combined influence would exert a pressure on the native forces of the Chaos Divine Land that far exceeded a simple sum of their parts. If they agreed, the transcendent powers of the Heavenly Ape Star Realm would likely be forced to yield.
But the problem was the sixth item. With only five parties involved, who would provide the extra treasure?
After the silence stretched on, the Rule Wizard Green spoke up tentatively:
“Lord Luo Cha, Lord Tyson, perhaps we could invite the Tri-Eye Civilization to join us?”
The forces of the Shattered Starry Sea linked to the Chaos Divine Land were all tied to the Heavenly Ape Star Realm. If the Tri-Eye Civilization joined, they would surely contribute the sixth item without hesitation.
However, Song Chi and the others had been too hopeful. For reasons unknown, the Eleventh Rank Myths Luo Cha and Tyson refused to allow even the addition of Chaos City to the agreement.
The burden fell squarely back onto the five Overlord Civilizations, including the Torch and Wizard Clans.
As Luo Cha and Tyson began to look impatient, Song Chi finally gritted his teeth and spoke:
“Lords, I possess a Seven-Colored Strange Object. Would this suffice to meet your demand?”
As he spoke, a light flashed from his forehead, and a mass of seven-colored brilliance emerged.
It was a mirrored Three Realms Five Elements Certificate, a product of the Top Rank Chaos Mirror Image Stone he had acquired on Origin Star.
Upon inspecting the Certificate’s properties, both Luo Cha and Tyson looked satisfied.
“Agreed!”
With their approval secured, Song Chi turned his gaze toward Green, Michael, and the others in the room.
A Top Rank Chaos Mirror Image Stone was too precious to be surrendered without compensation, whether for him or the Torch Civilization.
