Getting spoiled in a woman dominating world Chapter 605: A misstep?

The discarded bags were left near the entrance for later.
Brandon was sitting on the couch with Jiyeon sitting sideways across his thighs with both of her arms wrapped tightly around his neck as she pressed herself against his chest.
On his other side, Brandon wrapped his arm around Dhayun’s shoulders, keeping her tucked against him.
She leaned into his side with a kind of quiet stubbornness, one hand resting on his stomach while her head occasionally tilted to rest against his shoulder.
For a while, none of them spoke.
The soft ambient sounds of the mansion filled the silence... the faint movement from the kitchen where Florence and Ravene were still finishing lunch, the distant hush of wind outside, and the steady pace of their breathing.
Brandon closed his eyes for a moment as he missed this type of quiet peace with them.
Jiyeon shifted slightly on his lap, adjusting herself so she could hold him even more completely.
"...You’re really not allowed to disappear like that again," Dhayun finally muttered.
"Next time something happens, you take us with you. Or at least leave a proper message, Woonie."
Jiyeon nodded against his neck "I kept thinking about the worst possibilities. Even after we heard you were back... I couldn’t fully calm down until I saw you myself."
Brandon exhaled softly and pulled both of them a little closer.
He pressed a brief kiss against the side of Jiyeon’s head, then turned and did the same to Dhayun’s temple.
"I’m sorry and I’m not going anywhere."
As they were sitting, a loud scream echoed through the mansion.
"KAEL!"
The three of them immediately looked toward the stairs.
A moment later, Charlotte appeared at the top of the staircase.
Her hair was messy from sleep with slightly disheveled clothes, and her usually sharp eyes were wide and still hazy from unconsciousness.
The moment her gaze locked onto Brandon sitting on the couch, every trace of residual exhaustion seemed to burn away.
She rushed down.
She nearly stumbled on the last few steps in her haste, and her hand gripped the railing hard enough to make it creak before she pushed off and ran straight toward him.
The sheer intensity of her presence filled the room in an instant.
"Kael-!"
Jiyeon barely had time to shift on Brandon’s lap before Charlotte closed the distance.
She practically threw herself at him and wrapped her arms tightly around his neck as she crashed into his chest.
The force of it made the couch shift slightly.
Dhayun quickly moved just enough to avoid being knocked aside, though Charlotte still ended up half across both of them in her desperate attempt to hold him.
Her body was trembling.
"Char." Brandon immediately raised his arms and caught her.
Charlotte buried her face against the side of his neck, "...You’re here," she muttered against his skin.
"You’re really here... when I collapsed... I thought I failed again-"
"You didn’t fail," Brandon said quietly as his hand slowly stroked the back of her head. "I’m right here, Big Sister."
Charlotte’s fingers curled tightly into his bare shoulders.
She pulled back just enough to look at his face before she hugged him even tighter once more.
Jiyeon, who was still partially seated on Brandon’s lap, exchanged a brief glance with Dhayun.
Sensing the intensity of the moment, both of them quietly shifted back a little, giving Charlotte more space.
Charlotte finally loosened her hold just enough to cup his cheeks with both hands.
Her palms were warm against his skin as she held his face steady, forcing him to meet her gaze.
For a second she simply stared at him before she leaned in and pressed her lips firmly against his.
Charlotte kissed him deeply, her fingers tightening slightly against his cheeks as a soft, trembling breath escaped her lips.
When she finally pulled back just enough to speak, her forehead remained close to his as she whispered.
"...I missed you so much, Kael," she murmured against his lips. "I’m sorry. It’s my fault. If I had been stronger and protected you properly in that tower, you wouldn’t have been lost."
Her thumbs brushed lightly under his eyes as she continued, "I failed as your Big Sister."
The living room fell into a brief, stunned silence.
Jiyeon and Dhayun both froze.
Their eyes widened as they stared at the scene in front of them.
Dhayun was the first to react.
Her finger trembled slightly as she pointed directly at Charlotte.
"A-Aren’t you his Big Sister...? What was that just now?! You... you just kissed him! Like that!"
Jiyeon, still sitting close on Brandon’s other side, looked equally startled.
Her face was faintly flushed as she glanced rapidly between Charlotte and Brandon.
"I thought... you two were just really close siblings..." she muttered, clearly struggling to process what she just witnessed.
"Ah..."
The soft sound escaped Charlotte’s lips as she realized her mistake.
The heated emotions from waking up and rushing downstairs had clouded her usual composure.
Her "real self"... the version of her that had always been quietly possessive and affectionate toward Kael... usually only cuddled and kissed him in private.

Doing it so openly, right in front of Jiyeon and Dhayun, is a complete misstep.
A faint red tint crept up Charlotte’s neck and settled across her cheeks.
She slowly pulled her hands back from Brandon’s face, and her golden eyes flickered to the side for a brief second, clearly flustered.
"...I got carried away," she muttered.
Dhayun stared at her in disbelief "Since when does a Big Sister kiss her little brother on the lips like she’s about to devour him?!"
Jiyeon, still sitting close on Brandon’s other side, pressed her lips together.
Her face was a little red, but her eyes kept darting between Charlotte and Brandon with interest.
Charlotte slowly got down from him, clearly regretting how openly she acted... while also not looking particularly apologetic about the kiss itself.
Her eyes flickered away from Dhayun’s accusing stare, and she cleared her throat.
"...I’m going to freshen up," she muttered in embarrassment.
Before anyone could stop her or ask another question, Charlotte turned on her heel and strode out of the living room like a teenager who got caught.
Looking ather shy little run, Brandon couldn’t help but chuckle ’She is cute as always...’
