Amelia wakes up after an intense sexual encounter with Brandon, having passed out from pleasure. Meanwhile, Freya continues her own passionate night with Brandon on the balcony. Their intimacy is abruptly interrupted by the arrival of a visibly panicked Rheanne, who urgently seeks Brandon's attention, hinting at grave danger.

Brandon walked down the stairs quietly, wearing only his loose black pants.

His hair was slightly tousled, and the cool night air from the open windows brushed against him as he entered the living room on the ground floor.

Rheanne was sitting on the long sofa near the window.

Her long white hair fell loosely over one shoulder, and her eyes looked distant, lost in thought.

Brandon’s expression softened with concern the moment he saw her.

He moved to her side and gently sat down on the sofa, the cushion dipping under his weight.

Without saying a word, he wrapped his arm around her shoulders and pulled her gently against his warm chest.

"What happened, Rheanne?" he asked in concern.

She rested her head against his shoulder, taking a shaky breath before speaking.

"I... dreamt," she whispered. "Or... I don’t know if it was a dream. It felt more like a vision."

"I saw a giant blue eyeball... floating in an endless dark. It was enormous, bigger than anything I’ve ever seen. And it... it spoke to me."

Brandon frowned slightly "A giant eyeball?"

Rheanne nodded hurriedly, her fingers tightening on the fabric of his pants.

"Mhm. It was enormous... The eyeball itself was glowing with this deep, piercing blue light. It was looking straight at me like it could see through my soul."

She shuddered visibly "I felt so... insignificant. Like I was nothing more than a speck of dust in front of it. The pressure was overwhelming. I felt like standing in front of a higher being..."

She shivered slightly in his arms, pressing herself closer to his chest "It wasn’t really hostile. It was just... there."

Brandon stayed silent for a moment, processing her words.

"A giant blue eyeball..." he muttered quietly, more to himself than to her. "Did it say anything specific? Or show you anything?"

Nodding her head, she muttered "It spoke something in my mind like ’I was chosen by the people of this world...’ something like that."

Huh? Upon hearing this, Brandon’s frown deepened ’Is that the world consciousness?’

He remembered Elize telling him that..

’For someone to become a ’God’ they need the ’belief’ of people in the world.’

’If the people in the world worship someone as a god, they have chances of becoming a god acknowledged by the world consciousness.’

[A/n: She said that in Chapter 439]

This is the reason Brandon was hell-bent on building churches for Rheanne and making people worship her.

Seems like his plan worked.

The world consciousness itself had noticed her.

But he can’t explain everything to Rheanne.

If she asks ’How do you know that?’ he can’t give a solid reply.

Looking at her, he spoke "It said ’The people have chosen you?’" he uttered softly, as if pondering the words.

"Hmm... maybe it really is a great divine being, Rheanne."

She lifted her head slightly, glancing at him in confusion "Divine being?"

Shrugging, he replied "I mean... people are worshipping you now. Millions across the continent see you as a living Goddess."

"They pray to you and build temples for you. Maybe... some higher existence acknowledged that."

Rheanne stared at him for a moment and let out a sigh "I don’t know... but I am scared."

Brandon looked at her in amazement because she is always strong and reliable.

This is the first time she has been vulnerable like this.

Patting her head, he smiled "Clear your head. It’s going to be alright. Shall we go out for a walk?"

Rheanne let out another soft sigh.

She shook her head slowly, nuzzling closer into his neck "Let’s sleep together as always,"

His expression softened further "Mhm."

---

Early morning light filtered softly through the heavy curtains, casting a gentle glow across the bedroom.

Brandon is sitting on the bed and behind him Rheanne is still sleeping.

He had a thoughtful expression on his face ’The world consciousness appeared way before than I thought.’

’I expected another three or four years for Rheanne to become a full Goddess. The temples, the Holy Land, the widespread worship... I thought it would take longer for the belief to accumulate to that level.’

’Or maybe the world consciousness just acknowledged her and it will take some time for her ascension?’

He rubbed his temple, ’So I guess... the other women will begin to awaken once Rheanne completes her ascension maybe.’

’If that’s the case... there won’t be Rheanne to control the chaos.’

A deep breath escaped his lips ’It’s going to be a headache.’

He ran a hand through his hair and his expression darkened with the weight of future possibilities.

Rheanne slowly stirred beside him.

Her long white hair spilled across the pillow like fresh snow as she woke up.

For a moment, she simply lay there, blinking sleepily, before shifting closer to Brandon.

She wrapped her arms around his waist in a gentle hug.

"Morning, Kael..." she whispered and nuzzled her face into the back of his neck, breathing him in.

Brandon glanced back at her over his shoulder "Morning,"

Rheanne let out a contented sigh and hugged him tighter, pressing her cheek against his shoulder blade.

Her fingers traced lazy patterns on Brandon’s chest as she held him from behind.

"Did you sleep well?"

Brandon hummed, "Well enough."

She seemed to sense something was on his mind and tightened her arms around him.

"Last night... the vision. It still feels surreal."

Brandon turned and pulled her closer, wrapping both arms around her "It’s alright to be scared. Anyone would be scared facing such a thing."

"But don’t worry. It’s going to be okay."

Rheanne’s expression softened. She closed her eyes for a moment, leaning into his warmth as she let out a quiet breath.

’Staying with him like this feels so peaceful.’

She doesn’t know what she even feels about him anymore.

Is it gratitude? He had stood beside her, fought with her, supported her, and shaped the world that elevated her beyond anything she had ever imagined.

Is it love? The word felt too simple and too small for the depth of emotion she carried for him.

He is her companion and the one person who truly understood her.

Or is it something more complicated?

She doesn’t know anymore.

All she knew was that in this moment, with his arms around her and his warmth chasing away the lingering fear from the vision, she felt at peace.

’I wish for many days like this...’
