Getting spoiled in a woman dominating world Chapter 3 3: Meeting Big Sister
Previously on Getting spoiled in a woman dominating world...
What?
She's arriving today?
Brandon felt a jolt upon hearing this, his eyes sharpening. In this entire world, the one who despises him most is his Big Sister, Charlotte.
Much like Elize, Charlotte shares no blood ties with him.
As Elize's younger sister, she's essentially another aunt figure, yet he's called her Big Sister since childhood.
Still, Charlotte harbors a deep-seated hatred for Brandon.
With a heavy sigh, Brandon set the bottle down on the counter. 'She believes Elize squandered her prime years raising me.'
And truthfully, Charlotte had a point.
After his mother's death, Elize had taken him in.
She assumed the guardian role with unmatched devotion and tenderness, far exceeding mere duty.
She might have pursued a freer path... unburdened by nurturing a sorrowful child.
But she selected him. She cherished him. And he adored her beyond words.
'I'm in her debt so much that I can never confess my true emotions to her.'
Turning toward Elize, a soft smile tugged at his lips.
Elize, focused on her cooking, got startled when arms suddenly wrapped around her from behind.
Hm? She glanced back at Brandon in astonishment. "Kael?"
Brandon stayed silent, resting his chin on her shoulder while gently rubbing his cheek against hers.
Her nearness brought profound comfort... lavender fragrance blending with the meal's savory scents, her silky hair's touch, and her calm breathing's rhythm.
Elize's eyes curved with concern at his demeanor. "So, spill it... did you two quarrel, or did she dump you after exploiting you for 8 months?"
His arms squeezed her waist firmer as he murmured, "The second one. She phoned me out of nowhere, saying she no longer loves me."
"She admitted from the start that her affection stemmed from my Sister being an Empyrean."
Elize's gaze flickered with shock, but she inhaled deeply to rein in her fury. "I see..."
Words failed her on how to comfort him now.
Thus, she allowed the embrace to linger for several minutes in serene quietude.
Brandon's heart calmed in her aura, her distinctive aroma clouding his mind... that beloved Elize scent he treasured above all.
After a short while, he released the hug and exhaled. "I guess I got a little... carried away with emotions."
Elize faced him, cradling his face with a warm smile. "It's fine to reveal your soft side to me, darling."
"Come to me anytime you need something."
Brandon chuckled lightly and leaned in to plant a kiss on her cheek. "Thanks, Aunt..."
His kiss sparked a radiant smile on Elize's face. "Now, go enjoy your favorite game to unwind. Dinner's almost done in thirty minutes."
Brandon nodded and swiftly left the kitchen, his spirits lifted.
Watching him go, Elize's eyes narrowed, a icy flash crossing them.
She snatched her phone from the counter and punched in a number.
It connected after two rings. "Char..."
Charlotte, on the line, responded, "Big Sister?"
"Where are you at?"
Charlotte answered the query. "I just landed and hopped in the car. Be there in an hour."
Elize sighed before saying, "That Yeon dumped Kael."
Charlotte's lips curved into a subtle grin. "Seriously? I always figured he was a total loser."
But Elize wasn't amused. "Char, I've warned you countless times not to trash him like that."
Charlotte's grin dimmed, though playfulness tinged her voice. "What am I supposed to do about it?"
"I want Yeon gone by tomorrow."
Charlotte arched a brow. "Tomorrow?"
Elize's gaze tightened. "What? With your abilities, that's child's play."
Rubbing her temple, Charlotte agreed. "Fine, she's as good as dead."
"Good..."
Once the call ended, Elize clutched her phone hard. 'How dare she wound Kael and keep breathing?'
Elize had thoroughly vetted Yeon before Kael shacked up with her.
From the intel gathered, Yeon appeared ideal, and Elize anticipated a blissful romance for them.
Yet this heartbreaking twist never crossed her mind.

The dinner table brimmed with delectable fare... succulent lemon herb grilled chicken, creamy garlic butter shrimp pasta, crisp roasted veggies, and vibrant arugula salad adorned with shaved parmesan and bursting cherry tomatoes.
A rustic sourdough loaf sat nearby, accompanied by a dipping duo of olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
Elize had surpassed her usual excellence once more.
Brandon entered the dining room, unable to hold back a chuckle. "Smells like a five-star restaurant in here. What's the occasion?"
"I told you, we're celebrating your breakup."
Helplessly shaking his head, Brandon sat down while Elize took the seat next to him.
They both started eating heartily.
In Brandon's mouth, the first bite of chicken dissolved... so tender and juicy, perfectly seasoned with lemon and rosemary.
"As always, Aunt Elize's cooking tops everything."
"Hahaha... Glad you enjoy it."
Their meal went on, filled with lighthearted, playful chatter.
Next, Brandon went for the garlic butter shrimp pasta, piling a hefty serving on his plate.
Buttery sauce coated every strand of noodle, with plump, tasty shrimp. He devoured half in mere minutes.
"Slow down, Kael. You'll choke."
"I can't help it," he mumbled, mouth full of food.
"This is the best meal I've had in weeks."
"So your ex couldn't cook at all?"
Brandon shot her a flat stare. "Her cooking meant calling for takeout."
Elize snorted. "Tragic. No surprise you came running back to me."
He sighed before saying, "I forgot just how much I missed your cooking."
Her eyes grew tender at his words. "And I missed making food for you."
But while they ate, the front door suddenly opened, and Elize smiled. "Oh, looks like Char's home."
Moments later, a woman entered the dining room in a white coat and white pants, her heels echoing on the floor.
Like Elize, she boasted long blonde hair and fierce green eyes.
Her icy stare landed on Brandon mid-bite. "What a pathetic loser you are. Lost your one and only girlfriend..."
"I bet she ditched you for a real man, not a loser like yourself."
Brandon gazed at the stunning woman but held his tongue.
He knew the immense power Charlotte wielded; the 'Empyrean' title belonged solely to the mightiest awakeners worldwide.
Yet before Charlotte could say more, a cold shiver raced down her back, and she glanced at Elize's piercing glare.
Charlotte dropped her eyes a bit and sighed softly. "Big Sister..."
Elize nodded and offered, "Care to join us for a meal?"
Shaking her head, Charlotte replied, "No, I'm exhausted... Think I'll bathe and crash for the night."
"Mhm..."
Then Charlotte exited the dining room and headed upstairs to her bedroom.
Once gone, Elize turned to Brandon. "Kael, ignore her..."
Shaking his head, he kept eating. "Nah, she's said the same stuff for years. I'm used to it now."
At those words, Elize lifted her hand to pat his head gently. "No matter what others say, I have no regrets..."
"I don't feel like I wasted my life caring for you. Raising you has made me truly happy, Kael."
A smile crossed Brandon's face. "Thanks, Aunt."
---
Brandon climbed the stairs toward his bedroom.
Opening his door, he froze upon spotting Charlotte already inside.
A light pink towel enveloped her voluptuous form, hugging every curve.
Water droplets trailed slowly over her skin, highlighting the post-bath glow on her cheeks.
Damp strands of hair fell in wavy cascades across her shoulders.
The towel rode a bit too high, exposing her firm, sculpted thighs.
Its knot at the chest strained to stay put, while the deep cleavage it revealed demanded attention.
Charlotte glanced his way, eyes narrowing. "Since it's been ages, my bathroom heater failed... so I used yours."
Brandon nodded, his gaze flicking over her full figure before he composed himself swiftly.
Charlotte didn't linger and brushed past him.
With each step, the towel shifted teasingly, and Brandon boldly eyed her chest.
Pausing beside him, she remarked, "You've grown taller," her eyes quickly appraising him.
"And... broader too."
Her sudden comment startled Brandon; he turned slightly toward her. "Uh... thanks?"
"Mhm..."

Downstairs in the meantime, Elize readied drinks for an all-night session.
