Getting spoiled in a woman dominating world Chapter 1 1: This bitch
"Huh? What the hell are you saying?"
The young man seated before the drawing board during his Art class whispered those words after catching the woman's voice from the phone pressed against his ear.
In the silent classroom, his murmur drew the attention of every woman around, who all turned their heads toward him.
Annoyance filled the eyes of some, while disdain marked the stares of others.
The teacher, a stern-looking woman, approached him and demanded sharply, "Brandon Kael, could you stay quiet during class? And why are you even on your phone right now?"
Brandon lifted his blue eyes to meet hers and sighed inwardly, "Sorry, teacher. I need a short break."
Ignoring any response from her, he jumped to his feet, snatched his bag, and stormed out of the room.
Once he was gone, the teacher's eyes narrowed suspiciously, 'No respect at all? Just because his sister's an... Empyrean?'
Rushing from the classroom, dread made his eyes tremble as he spoke urgently into the phone, "Yeon, what the hell are you saying?"
"Break up? Why... what happened?"
A casual response came back, "It means exactly that. I've lost all feelings for you..."
Brandon felt completely lost, as his girlfriend of eight months suddenly spewed nonsense over the call.
In the midst of his turmoil, he drew a deep breath to steady his pounding heart, "Yeon... you're still at the apartment, right? I'm heading over now; let's talk it out."
"No."
But she shot back bluntly, continuing, "I've already packed up and left the apartment for good."
"What?"
Confusion deepened for Brandon, since just the day before, they'd been cuddling and kissing, yet now she claimed no feelings?
With a mocking scoff, she added from the other end, "Well... I only dated you because you're super cute and your sister's an Empyrean."
"But I've lost all interest now..."
Huh? Brandon froze in the hallway, the faint chatter of students and the gentle whir of the AC vanishing into nothingness.
"Yeon..."
"What do you mean by that? You... you're not serious, are you?"
Her voice stayed indifferent, "Why's it so tough to get, Brandon? It was enjoyable while it went on, but I'm finished. Don't take it to heart; that's just how people do."
"Move on?" he whispered, the words bouncing softly off the empty corridor walls.
"You can't just move on that easily."
"I already have," Yeon shot back, her tone irritatingly steady.
"Truth is, it was mostly the thrill, you get it? Hooking up with someone tied to an Empyrean was exciting, but now I see I don't want you or that link anymore."
Brandon finally understood, 'It was never really about me...'
He gripped the phone harder, his gaze sharpening. "How do you drop that so easily? Did you truly feel nothing for me?"
Silence hung briefly on the line, and for a split second, Brandon hoped he'd touched her.
Yet her following words crushed that illusion.
"You were adorable, Brandon. Even sweet at times. But real feelings? Nah. I don't believe I ever loved you like you dreamed."
His knees buckled, forcing him to lean against the chilly hallway wall before slumping to the floor.
The icy tiles chilled through his pants, though he hardly registered it.
"Why right now? Why dump all this after everything we've shared?"
She scoffed again, this time with clear irritation. "Why blow this out of proportion? It's done. Stop calling me, alright? Bye, Brandon."
The call ended with a sharp beep that rang in his ears.
Brandon gaped at the screen, Yeon's name staring mockingly back.
He couldn't wrap his head around how she'd ditched him so effortlessly.
Over those eight months cohabiting, they'd shared their first kiss and given each other their virginities.
In this world that scorns men as trash, she stood out... she truly valued him, and their times together were amazing.
Yet overnight, she transformed into someone else entirely.
'What the fuck happened to her?'
Her joyful smile flickered in his thoughts, leaving him motionless with the phone clutched tight.
A quiet sigh slipped out as he rested against the wall, eyes shutting briefly.
Footsteps approaching snapped his eyes open to spot a good-looking youth—actually more cute than handsome—heading his way.
This guy sported black hair and green eyes, blinking in shock at Brandon on the hall floor.
"Brandon? What the fuck you doing out here, bitch?"
Brandon shut his eyes again, "Shut up, bastard..."
Helplessly shaking his head, Riven plopped down next to his best buddy on the floor. "What happened... Has your sister started bullying you over the phone too?"
Brandon slung his arm casually over Riven's shoulder as he settled in and grumbled, "Yeon broke up with me."
What?
Stunned, Riven couldn't believe it, knowing full well how smitten they had been.
"Huh? Brandon... did you two have a fight?"
Brandon shook his head with a heavy sigh. "Nope. She suddenly called me up and called it quits. No heads-up. Just 'I lost feelings for you' and crap about never truly loving me anyway."
Shocked by this revelation, Riven stared in disbelief. "She just... phoned you and broke it off? Out of the blue?"
A bitter laugh escaped Brandon as he rubbed his face and raked fingers through his messy black hair. "Yeah..."
Riven's face grew dark. "Are you fucking kidding me?"
Brandon shook his head. "Wish I was."
Riven's eyes narrowed with fury at those words. He wasn't one to lose his cool easily, but this was outrageous.
For months, he'd watched Brandon's joy with Yeon, his utter devotion, the lengths he went to make her feel cherished.
And now she discarded it all like trash?
Shaking his head, he muttered, "You went for an older woman; look what she did to you... you perverted ass."
Brandon playfully smacked his chest. "Mother fucker..."
Riven chuckled in response. "Just saying, man. You got played."
Brandon groaned loudly. "God, don't remind me."
"That's exactly what I'm gonna do." Riven grinned while nudging him.
"I mean, eight months? Living together... and then, boom!—'Thanks for the ride, buddy, I'm out'? Nah, that's fucked."
Frustration twisted Brandon's lips. "Yeah, I got that part, genius."
Riven folded his arms thoughtfully. "So, what's next? You gonna sulk in a dark room with sad tunes?"
Brandon huffed. "No. I gotta grab my stuff from the apartment and head home."
Riven arched a brow at that. "Oh? Want my help?"
Brandon shook his head. "Nope. I'll handle it."
With a smirk, Riven teased, "You sure? What if you get there and she's got some new guy already? Lounging on your couch, sipping your orange juice, scratching his—"
"Stop." Brandon groaned, burying his face in his hands. "For fuck's sake, Riven."
Riven chuckled despite himself. "I'm just bracing you for the worst..."
Brandon let out a soft breath. "You're an asshole."
Grinning, Riven rose and extended a hand. "C'mon. At least let me buy you a coffee first. Can't let you look like a sad puppy picking up your things."
Brandon eyed the offered hand briefly, sighed, then grabbed it. "Fine."
"Atta boy." Riven draped an arm over his shoulders as they headed for the door.
"And if you need backup later, I'm a call away. I'll even grab a baseball bat if it comes to that."
Brandon chuckled at the offer. "Noted."
Riven sighed and added, "That's why they say bros before hoes..."
Shaking his head, Brandon shot back, "Out of fear of women's abuse in this world, many men have turned gay..."
"HAHAHAHA..."

Brandon shut the cab door and stepped onto the sidewalk, luggage in tow.
"Haa..." He sighed deeply, lifting his eyes to the house ahead.
The two-story dwelling looked exactly as before, its pale blue exterior and white window frames unchanged.
Warm light from the porch spilled over the tidy front steps and the row of potted plants along the edge.
His gaze dropped. 'In the end, no matter how hard I try to stand on my own and escape her... I always end up back here...'
Luggage gripped tightly, he approached the door and knocked lightly.
Moments later, it swung open, revealing a stunning woman with flowing blonde hair and piercing blue eyes.
Casual attire hugged her seductive curves, highlighting her H-cup breasts, while a mature vibe emanated from her, marked by a black mole just below her lips.
"Aunt Elize..."
