Large portions of roasted monster meat disappeared within seconds. Entire baskets of fruit vanished almost immediately afterward, followed by bread, vegetables, and anything else that looked edible.

Their speed was so absurd that Isaac found himself staring in disbelief.

His lips twitched slightly.

Every Happy Bunny had already eaten more food in a single minute than he normally consumed throughout an entire day. Even after all that, they still ate more happily. He almost wondered if their stomachs had an spatial pocket to store that much food.

Fortunately, running out of food was not an immediate concern. Every one of Isaac's wives kept enormous emergency supplies inside their Spatial Rings in case they were ever stranded somewhere dangerous.

Their combined reserves were enough to support a large group for a very long time.

Even so, Isaac was beginning to question whether those supplies would actually last.

As he watched the children continue eating, he noticed something else. The mana inside each Happy Bunny steadily increased every time they swallowed another mouthful of food. The increase was gradual, but it was obvious enough that he could sense it without concentrating.

It seemed their bodies converted nutrition directly into strength. Their constant hunger was not simply because they enjoyed eating. They genuinely needed an incredible amount of food just to support their rapid growth.

A few minutes later, two familiar figures finally arrived.

Celeste landed gracefully nearby while Punpun hopped over from the forest. Each of them carried two Happy Bunnies by the backs of their nape as though they were carrying particularly troublesome children.

One of the Happy Bunny in Punpun's hand still crackled with faint arcs of lightning. The two hanging from Celeste's hands radiated traces of fire and ice respectively, while the last one was covered in mud.

Isaac observed these four.

The mana inside them was noticeably stronger than the others gathered around him. They had clearly grown another step beyond the rest, and Punpun's mana was noticeably denser than these four.

"I apologize for showing you such a disappointing sight, Master." Celeste lowered her head.

Her expression was unusually serious, and genuine shame was written across her face.

Isaac looked at her for a moment before speaking. "What happened?"

He understood that the Happy Bunnies were a completely unknown species, so unexpected situations were inevitable. Even so, the dragon maids had assured him they could handle taking care of them. Naturally, he wanted to hear their explanation before making any judgment.

"We were preparing food for the children because they were constantly hungry. Eventually, they emptied everything we had stored, so we decided to gather more ingredients from the forest—

"Wait a moment. What do you mean your inventory was emptied?" Isaac asked.

"We had enough food stored for roughly a year. The children ate all of it overnight. Of course, I'm not blaming them. It's good that they have healthy appetites. We simply should have prepared better," she replied.

Isaac simply stared at her.

The mansion inside the Soulbind Pendant contained enough food to feed the entire family for an entire year. Yet these children had finished every bit of it before the sun even rose.

A very unsettling feeling slowly settled inside him. He didn't create something too dangerous, did he?

Celeste continued before Isaac could say anything. "As they kept eating, they rapidly became stronger. We wanted to tell you the good news in the morning, but before morning came, one of the children asked where Phoebe had gone to gather more food."

She gave a helpless smile.

"We told him she had gone into the forest. After hearing that, he said he wanted to go outside as well. The other children immediately agreed. Some wanted to gather food themselves, while others simply wanted to play outside. It became complete chaos. They nearly blew up the mansion while trying to escape," she said.

The more Isaac listened, the more unbelievable the situation became. He had expected trouble, but not on this scale. These Happy Bunnies had managed to exhaust an entire year's worth of food and nearly destroy the mansion in less than a day.

His gaze shifted toward the four unusual Happy Bunnies.

"And these four?" he asked.

Celeste looked toward the children she had captured.

"You probably noticed the fire, ice, and lightning spreading throughout the forest. Three of them were responsible for those. The fourth one kept digging underground and was getting farther away every minute. Thankfully, Punpun helped us catch them. Otherwise, stopping all four at once would have been very difficult."

She did not try to make excuses or hide her mistake. She simply accepted responsibility and explained what had happened as honestly as possible.

Punpun walked over while carrying the two Happy Bunnies in his hands. Both little rabbits had swollen bumps on their heads and remained completely unconscious.

He stopped in front of Isaac and looked at him expectantly.

Isaac immediately recognized that expression.

He had seen the exact same look on Emily's face whenever she wanted praise after finishing a task. Alice also made that expression sometimes, although she usually tried to hide it behind a calm face. Punpun was making no attempt to hide it at all.

Isaac smiled before crouching down in front of him.

"Good job, Punpun. I'm proud of you for helping the nannies instead of causing trouble," Isaac said.

Punpun's ears slowly relaxed.

A blissful smile spread across his face as he closed his eyes to relax.

Isaac let out a quiet chuckle.

He still did not particularly like children. Looking after dozens of energetic little troublemakers was the last thing he wanted to do, but Punpun was gradually becoming an exception. The little rabbit was surprisingly easy to get along with.

Isaac gave Punpun another gentle pat on the head before standing back up.

He turned toward Celeste. "Where are the other nannies?"

"A few of them are still trying to catch the children that keep running around. Some of the Happy Bunnies awakened disguise and invisibility skills, so finding them is taking longer than expected. Most of the others are chasing the twins," she explained.

Isaac gave a small nod.

Out of all the Happy Bunnies born yesterday, only two had been born as twins. They had also been noticeably smaller than the others, which had made him wonder whether they had been weaker or born with some kind of problem.

He was still worried about their health.

Seeing Isaac's expression, Celeste gave a helpless smile.

"Those two are the ones who blew up the mountains you can see in the distance. Out of all the children, they're the biggest troublemakers."
